Chapter 4: The Discovery

"Jade, Jade, Jade"

"What?"

"What is that?"

"Ditus. A flying----"

"Oooh~ What's that?"

"Ah. That's---"

"EEEEEPP, JADE-AH, IT'S BREATHING FIRE!"

They are currently in the town walking. Jade didn't have a choice but to take this way to go to school early

She sigh and try not to look at the Exopians who's obviously gossiping about the newbie. Hyerin look at her, confuse. She transform into fox and look at her

"Hop on my back" She said through her mind. Hyerin just gaped at her and caress her friend's back

"Woah. Daebakk" Jade was baffled at the new word and just nudge Hyerin. The girl simply ride on her back and hug her

"Woah. So big. I never knew foxes can be this big" She said in awe and Jade ran into the forest.

After a while, They reach in the school again and they immediately went to the office to get her things. When they're finish, Hyerin clutch her backpack and ready hop on Jade, not before someone make Jade float. She struggled and tried to scream but someone mute her

"YAH! YAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Hyerin yelled but ignored by students. They already marked Hyerin as an enemy because of Victorique. When she hate someone, they also hate that person

Hyerin clench her fist and ready to attack the students but a voice stopped her

"Stay out of this, newbie" Vince suddenly appeared beside her and muttered in a dead tone

"You can't do this to her!" She exclaimed and touch him. A vision flashed in her mind

Silhouettes. Golden hair. Twins. Cold Green fire. Smell of blood and burned house. A hair raising scream.

Hyerin fight for breath when she finally release her hold on his hand

Depressing. The vision is painful that Hyerin, herself coudn't identify if it's a vision of his past or future. She grip her head and tried to get out the scene from it. Jade notice this and called her name but still, no sound came out. Hyerin screamed in pain and Vince just stared at her, not knowing what to do. A pair of royal blue eyes glare at them before walking away. Jade notice this and open again for a yell but as usual, nothing came out. She helplessly look around. Students laugh and point at her, Vince just staring at the girl lying on the floor screaming and crying silently.

Hyerin. Her friend. The only one who care at her when Mrs. Dane is not around. A girl who treats her like a normal creature.

Jade clench her fist and close her eyes. Student's laugh died down little by little as they stared at her odd behavior. She instantly open her eyes and glare at the students with her glowing green and gray eyes. The once jade colored eyes becomes forest green and the previously cool gray turns into silver. The breathtaking combination almost put everyone in spellbind but the bright glow distracts them

"Release me this instant" She ordered them without opening . She speak to everyone with her mind.

Telepathy

The students wants to screamed and run away but something hold them all together. 

Strings. A thin thread that ties them to the ground. The students who are muting and levitating her, stop the their powers and nervously look at her when she stand on the ground

"Scatter" The strings around them sting and glowed green before disappearing

The students ran away, obviously scared at the creature infront of them. They forgot that the creature they're talking about is the weakest Exopian in their world. 

"What happen here?" Mrs. Dane dropped her pack of goods and gaped at Jade with glowing eyes. She darted her eyes to Hyerin who's still whimpering and Vince who's frozen in his place.

Vince bowed and about to say something when Mrs. Dane look at him sternly. He nodded and step back.

"Let's go. You have alot of explaining to do" She gently hold Jade's hand and crouch down to touch Hyerin also. They disappeared and leave Vince alone in the corridor

He sigh in relief and pick up the cookies before walking away

Silence surround the room as they stare at each other, looking for answer. Hyerin is still confuse and shock from the vision, Jade is puzzled on how can she use her powers that time in long period of time and Mrs. Dane, still faze at the fact that Jade can use her powers in solid state, The new student, crying and Vince looking baffled at the scene a while ago

Mrs. Dane cleared , wanting answers so bad

"What happen? Why are your powers suddenly working?" Jade look at her and release a shaky breath

"I don't even know."

"What are the powers that you unleash a while ago?" She questioned. Jade tilt her head up and thought

"Telepathy....Thread manipulation....And I think Hypnotism" She counted.

Mrs. Dane gasps "Three powers and you're not even tired?" The younger shook her head. Hyerin looks at her, mystified

"What? Three powers? I thought Exopians only have two? What are your Exias?" She bombarded Jade with questions

"I have Power absorbtion and Necrokinesis"

"Explain" Jade started explaining what what are those and what do they do. When she's finished, Hyerin gasps

"You're strong, Jade! Why aren't you fighting back, a while ago?" Jade sigh and wave her hand, indicating she's not in the mood to tell her the whole story. Hyerin nod, silently understanding the situation

Mrs. Dane lean her head to her forearm, still has the disbelief look on her face.

Suddenly, she snapped her fingers and bring out her book that she borrowed just a while ago before the weird scene happen. The two girls eyed her curiously. Mrs. Dane look at Jade and the new girl just stared at her. All of a sudden, Hyerin face turned into stunned but blank face. Jade eyed them curiously.
