[Almost Lover]

Almost…

That is the word… dangerous word if you ask me.

I almost loved you once. Yes, Taeyeon, I was so close to it. I could practically hear my heartbeat, feel sweat all over my face whenever the atmosphere turn too ‘hot’ to handle. I don’t even mean it in some sort of ual way. No, just a smile — it was all it took at that point for me to wonder and search for reason.

I almost gave up for those feelings, despite us being in the same group, performing everyday, spending time together usually in the open for the rest of the world to see.

I almost confessed that I’m developing something too. You told me once that you like me, that it might be more than just a random crush and it might be difficult for you to move on, but instead of saying that I have these kind of doubts too, I shut my mouth. If I have voiced it, everything would have come out and I couldn’t take it back.

I almost lost my cool.

Almost risk it all.

Time changes people though, so it did the same for us too.  

I almost told you once, Taeyeon, that I miss you. Miss training and spending every day with you. Especially when were on breaks and without any group activities together.

I almost asked you to stay by my side. Smile more.

Yuri kept repeating questions.

“You slept with her? Just tell me for once!”

Taeyeon answered almost immediately.

“Yes, I did. Not just once”

Yuri repeated her question with her hands around Taeyeon, keeping the girl in place.

Once again Taeyeon answered coldly.

“You wanted the truth.You have it” which made Yuri let go of her immediately and step back before doing something she might regret later.
