Sanghyung lazily flicked through a magazine as he ate his dinner, his listening to the TV as he read, waiting for his friend and ex-fellow band member, Joon, to come. He suddenly froze as he heard an abrupt change in the news.

"BREAKING NEWS - MBLAQ's leader Yang Seungho ..." Sanghyun froze, then stared back at the screen, his dinner forgotten as he stared at the screen with growing horror. "-involved in serious car accident with other members of k-pop boy group MBLAQ. Condition yet unknown ..."

Sanghyun collapsed back onto the sofa as his mind went blank.

Nothing registered to him.

Seungho?

Seungho hyung?

No.

And the others?

No.

How ... his mind was in a haze, and it took several times for him to register that the doorbell was ringing. He slowly pushed himself into a sitting position, and then walked over to the door, pullinng it open.

A familiar figure stood there, a worried expressoin on his face. "Sanghyun? What's wrong?" Joon stepped in and closed the door hurridly, then turned to the running TV after pulling a frozen Sanghyun with him.

Just iin time to see a glimpse of the photo of Seungho, his ... ex-leader, lying on the floor, with a very familiar maknae kneeling besides him with barely conlealed fear and horror. 

And blood.

Joon felt his heart stop and he froze, his gaze locked onto the screen even after the photo slipped out of veiw, the reporter continueing to report on other stories that had happened, but all fell deaf to his ears.

"Hyung?" Sanghyun tugged at his arm. "Hyung stop it you're scaring me ..."

Joon shook his head slightly and grabbed the remote, turning off the TV quickly and then turning to Sanghyun, wrapping his arm around him as the younger dissolved into tears. Joon glanced slightly over to the empty-screened TV, his mind whirling with thoughts that he pushed away. 

"Oh no." He whispered under his breath, but he was still slightly surprised - surprised he didn't actually feel anything. Besdies him, Sanghyun was stil in tears, mumbling words he couldn't make out, but he was just standing there, his face devoid of emotion, blank.

He felt numb inside.

He didn't feel anything.

Why was he so numb?

He felt the blood thundering in his ears, and only when the world began spinning around him he realized that he hadn't been breathing. He in a deep breath, making Sanghyun jolt with shock. "H-hyung ...?"

Joon shook his head. No. He stood up, trying to convinve himself that the odd throbbing pain in his heart was just out of pity. They were strangers. If he saw someone he didn't know who was dying, he would feel like this.

Anyone would, right?

He stood up abruptly, pulling on Sanghyun. "Sanghyun, I need to go. Are you gonna be okay?" He looked in concern at the crying boy. He was obviously not okay. He shook his head. "Okay, sorry - I'll stay with you." 

Sanghyun just choked back another sob.
