Dance practice

Memories

After a very lengthy lecture about being late and then showing up just to record a completely different song from an angered music producer, Luhan and Simon sincerely apologized for wasting his time. They then headed over to the dancing studio which was conveniently located across the street. Once they walked inside, Simon pulled Luhan to one of the corners of the building.

"Look Lu, why don't we call it a day? I think you should just go home and rest, we can try to catch up with your schedule tomorrow, but right now I know you're exhausted."

Luhan simply shook his head. "No, this is the last thing to accomplish for today. I want to finish this before going home tonight."

Simon couldn't help but let out a frustrated sigh. "Luhan, listen to me. This is not the time to be stubborn. I know you're committed to your job, but if this continuous spacing out keeps on happening you're never going to get anything done!"

"Okay, so maybe I haven't been 100% myself lately, but I'm fine, really I am. Now would you please just go and grab my bag from the car? The sooner I start this, the sooner I can finish off for the day. Wouldn't that be the best for the both of us?" Luhan ignored the previous comment and instead insisted that Simon listen to him.

Simon knew with Luhan's attitude and tone of voice that there was no room for negotiation. Luhan made up his mind and unless he himself wanted to change it there was no other way. So with that, Simon left the building.

Being the overactive type of person that he is, Luhan found himself wandering around looking through the glass of the other practice rooms. He stopped in front of one with three people inside. He couldn't hear any music coming from the room, all he saw was three boys sprawled over the floor. They looked like they were engaged in a funny conversation. Subconsciously, the corners of his lips curved into a smile.

"So let me get this straight. you boys came to practice the new dance this afternoon." Their dance instructor looked around at the 12 boys crowded around the dance room. He saw some heads nodding but none of them dared to look him straight in the eye. "Then you guys got hungry and decided to order in. So would someone like to explain to me why this room looks like war world 3 happened in here?!" By now the instructor was fuming with rage.

Bones and remnants of some kind of meat were thrown all over the wooden floors. Half eaten pizza slices were stuck to the walls and tomato sauce was smeared everywhere. There were soup spills and stains here and there but it was most evident on the white t-shirts that some of the boys were wearing.

Suho who had been buried by the tall figures was suddenly pushed out to the front. "Eh, um, we're sorry sir. We should've known better. But rest assured we will make sure this place is clean by tomorrow morning!"

"It better be, I have someone coming to use this room at 7." They all bowed as a sign of apology as their instructor walked out of the room with an audible slam of the door.

"Good going Chen, if you hadn't thrown your chicken scraps at me this mess would have never happened!" Tao exclaimed while pointing an accusing finger in Chen's direction.

"Me?" He pointed at himself in disbelief. "Excuse me but if not for you flicking your soup all over me every time you decided to take a bite of your noodles none of this would have happened! So technically you're the one that started all of this!"

Tao rolled his eyes in annoyance. "For the millionth time, I told you it was an accident! I wasn't doing it on purpose!"

"Guys..." Suho stood up and tried to stop the fighting but was ignored.

"Really Tao, I am so sick and tired of you always putting the blame on other people when it's you that's at fault." Baekhyun in clearly irritated. He was one of the unlucky ones with soup still dripping off his shirt meaning he was in no mood to listen to Tao's complaints.

"Guys..." Suho tried again only to be ignored once again. He then looked in Kris' direction for help.

Tao was appalled hearing Baekhyun's statement. " If I remember correctly you're the one who requested to have noodle soup, I..."

"Guys enough!" Kris practically shouted over all the excess noise. This immediately caused everyone to quiet down.

Suho sighed as he finally got everyone's attention. "Alright, this is not the time to be putting the blame on people or trying to figure out who is at fault." He specifically looked at Tao, Chen and Baek as he said this. "All this aimless arguing isn't going to get us anywhere. This mess isn't going to clean itself up."

It was still early in the evening and most members still had other events on their schedules to attend to. Some headed off to the recording studio, others had business to finish off at the photography studio and a few had individual events to go to.

The unfortunate ones who were supposed to enjoy the rest of the evening to do as they pleased were forced to stay behind to clean up the mess.

"This isn't fair, I should be at home right now in my jammies playing video games." The maknae pouted as he lugged a bucket of soapy water into the room.

"Sehun, enough with the constant complaining! You've been going on and on about it ever since the others left. Isn't it bad enough that I have to deal with Tao's complaining every day? I don't need you to start doing it too!" Kris fumed as he leaned against the glass with his eyes closed and fingers busy massaging his throbbing head.

After hearing this Sehun immediately shut his mouth not daring to protest or say anything more. Everyone knew that an angry Kris was no doubt a scary Kris.

Luhan pat the boy's back and gave him a warm smile as if to reassure him that everything was going to be alright. He then rummaged through his bag and dug out a water bottle and a bottle of pills.

"Take it to alleviate the pain." He said as he held the items in front of Kris.

Kris his eyes open upon hearing Luhan's voice. "Thanks." He mumbled as he popped the pill into his mouth and washed it down with water. He then looked over at Sehun who had already began scrubbing the stains off the walls. He hadn't meant to put out all his anger on the boy, he was simply irritated by the migraine he had all day. "I'm sorry for what happened just now Sehun-ah. I'll make it up to you by buying you bubbletea after this. How does that sound?"

With the offer of being treated to his favorite drink Sehun turned around and smiled happily up at Kris. "I am willing to accept your apology hyung!"

"You little brat." Kris replied with an eye roll but he couldn't contain his smile nonetheless.

"Hey that means you'll be treating me too right? After all you're not in pain anymore thanks to me." Luhan beamed as he stopped mopping the floors to join in on their conversation.

Kris whipped his head over to Luhan's direction. "Technically since you're the hyung here, don't you think you should feel obligated to treat us instead?" He teased the shorter but older male.

Luhan couldn't help but roll his eyes at the question. "I swear this is the one and only time you actually remember and would willingly acknowledge the fact the I'm older than you."

"Seven months still count." Kris replied with a smirk.

Luhan unconsciously rolled his eyes again. "Whatever. I don't mind treating the both of you, but you better start pulling your weight." And with that being said he threw a rag at Kris.

The memories of their bubble fight and then going out for dinner and bubbletea after finally cleaning up their mess flooded and played through his mind like a movie as he continued looking through the glass of the practice room. It seemed like only yesterday that this event occurred. He smiled as tears pricked at the brim of his eyes and unconsciously dampened his cheeks.

A warm hand on his shoulder took over his attention. By now the three boys who had occupied the room were gone and was vacant. Standing on his right side was Simon with a worried expression plastered on his face.

Upon finally realizing the tears, he hastily wiped his face dry with the back of his hands. Although he knew that Simon had caught him red handed so it didn't really matter anyway.

"I've already cancelled today's dance practice. Wes said to come back tomorrow when you're feeling better." Simon waited for a protest but was relieved when he didn't get one. "Come on Lu, I'm taking you home."

Chapter 7: Oh geez that got to me :(
I also want to thank you, I haven't read any fics that have talked about KrisHan's official leave from EXO and everything that you wrote about Sehun's feelings about it was everything I've been thinking.
This fic is amazing, thanks for writing it!

Chapter 5: Annyeong! I'm sorry to say that I've been a silent reader since you updated the first chapter, but I honestly am crying at the last chapter. I know it's only a fic however I can only imagine how hard it must have been for Yifan, Luhan, and Tao to leave as well as Minseok, Yixing, Jongdae, Junmyeon, Kyungsoo, Jongin, Sehun, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol having to let go. Change is hard to accept especially when there are so many cherishable memories. Your story has earned a very special place in my heart and I want to say that you are a very talented writer. Keep up the wonderful work! Saranghae!^^~SaranghaeyoKpop
