Boxing Gloves"Ow, Seohyun, be gentle," JungKook winced as she tended to his injuries the next day at her house.
"I've never been good at being gentle," she replied. JungKook smiled.
"Okay, well, do you think you could try for me?" He asked. Seohyun giggled and leaned her forehead against his.
"I could try."
"Do you wanna talk about yesterday?" JungKook questioned softly, his tone sincere and hopeful. Her simple answer: no, she didn't. But what choice did she have?
"Do you want to?" She asked with a sullen expression.
"Yeah, I'd like that," he stated, sitting up a bit more to look her in the eyes. "So I know that you didn't actually mean it when you said you didn't love me, right?" JungKook asked. Seohyun simply nodded. "But I'm not entirely clear on why you said it. Like I know you did it to win, but can you explain the rest of it for me? You know I'm dumb," he said, trying his best to get her to laugh, but it didn't seem to work as she just sat down next to him and cuddled into his side. "Oh, okay, so you have to be careful with that side because Yuri hit me there last week and there's still a really big bruise," JungKook reminded her, so Seohyun lifted up his shirt to inspect the bruise.

"No, I think I'm okay. I'll take a kiss, though," he responded. Seohyun kissed her two fingers and touched them to the affected area before dropping his shirt and leaning back against him. "I meant my lips," he giggled. Seohyun sat up again to kiss her fingers again, touching them to his lips as she nestled into his side again. "That's not what I meant."
"Maybe later, I'm not in a good mood," Seohyun murmured. "So about the whole thing, you know I love boxing, right? Like a lot?" She asked.
"Yeah, you love it more than me," JungKook joked, but Seohyun shook her head. She was so not in the mood for his playfulness, not right now. She just wanted him to take care of her, and though she knew it should be the other way around, she deserved a little bit of love, too.
"That's not true. But it is the way I get money and it's kind of the thing I do. So, after you said you were gonna be a challenger, I was super excited. It was gonna be great. We were gonna train together and then I'd cheer you on while you fought, or if we fought, I was gonna have a lot more fun than I did. And then Yuri told me I couldn't do that because I needed to act like you were just another opponent, like I hated you. I wasn't allowed to tell anyone that we were dating or let you win because Yuri said that would end my career," she explained.
"So you didn't want to lose your job?" JungKook clarified.
"Don't say it like that, you make it sound like I did something wrong. I've been boxing professionally since I was 20. And I know I should've told you, but I thoug
