Jessica’s pov

With much struggle, I finally managed to load Amber into my car. I ransacked beneath my driver seat to grab the towels to dab her, in case her fever got worse. Even though we were in the car, it felt really chilling. I maxed out the heater in my car to keep us from frozen.
