Chungha wasn’t expecting Nayoung’s concerned eyes when she brought her used plates to the sink.

“What is it?”

Nayoung seemed to ponder for a while, turning her attention to the dishes she’s assigned to wash tonight.

“Is something happened between you and Sejeong?”

Chungha blinked. Is something—

“No,” Chungha answered, shaking her head to put an emphasis. She idly wondered what’s running through the normally straight-faced leader to blurt out a question like that. One Chungha thought came out of the blue.

“Aren’t you going to ask me why I asked?” Nayoung asked, turning the tap off as she put the last plate in place.

“Why?”

“Sejeong always looks confident, doesn’t she?”

Chungha blinked again. She was trying to follow Nayoung’s train of thought, but it seemed impossible with the jumps Nayoung used. Does Sejeong look confident? Chungha pondered. Of course, she always does.

“Of course,” Chungha voiced her answer out.

Nayoung turned to face her, hands holding a towel to wipe water off of her palms.

“But you also have witnessed her without her confident mask on, right?”

Chungha wasn’t sure where this conversation was going to, but she nodded.

“Well I just want to say, don’t blame her about the Kim Chungha Invitation Chance too much.” Nayoung shrugged, “And give her a hug.”

Chungha paused, eyebrows furrowed at the leader’s words. Was today the Official Disjointed Conversation Day or something, and Chungha was the only one not getting informed about the celebration?

“You do realize that your words aren’t that coherent, right?” Chungha carefully asked. Nayoung blinked owlishly at her, her hands tugging on her own’s shirt.

“I don’t think so.”

Chungha mentally noted that Nayoung had entered her sleepy mode.

“Okay.”
