Like any other afternoon, we were enjoying a nice time out as a family. It's been a while since we've last been out for dinner and actually spent time together. Ever since Yong Rim started middle school, mom has been stressing over her getting good grades and even tried convincing dad to enroll her into an academy to further her studies.

"Yeobeo... please," Mom begged him in the front seat as she rubbed her belly. Her belly has grown so much it looks like she's about to pop.

"Not now honey. Just relax," he slightly smiled as he reached over and lightly rubbed her belly. Sighing she slumps back in her seat as I look over to Yong Rim who was looking out the window with her earphones in. I tapped her arm and she looks over at me as she takes one of her earphones out.

"What is it?"

"What are they talking about? Why does mom want you in an academy?" I asked curiously.

Rolling her eyes Yong Rim simply pats my head. "Don't worry about that. You're still in the fourth grade, you wouldn't understand,"

Pouting, I cross my arms and she laughs at me. "You're so cute,"

I slap her hand away and she looks at me offended. Dad approached a red light and comes to a stop and looks back at us.

"What do you girls want for dessert?" he smiles.

"Ice Cream!" we both chime causing both our parents to chuckle in amusement.

"Alright! I know the best place," he smiles as he turns back around to face the road. As the light turns green, dad takes off but I notice that a truck isn't stopping at the intersection. My eyes widened and I was about to say something when it was already too late.

The impact was so strong, that the sound of aluminum being crushed is heard loud and clear. Glass was flying everywhere as we rocked around the car as it goes tumbling across the road. Looking over to Yong Rim she's bleeding from her head and she looks like she fainted. Reaching over to check if she's alright, I barely heard moms cries as I pass out from the shock.

Waking up in the hospital, I don't remember anything, I even don't understand why I'm at the hospital. I look over and there are nurses and a doctor looking at me, checking if I was alright.

"She's awake Doctor," one of the nurses notices and nudges the Doctor. He puts his clipboard down and checks my pulse.

"How old are you?" he asks me.

"Uh... 6?" I said in more of a question than a response.

He simply nodded his head before standing up. "You're lucky you survived but..." he trails off scaring me. "I'm afraid you won't be able to walk for a while,"
