One Year Ago

"Oh are you awake?" Taeyeon opened her eyes slowly, why did her head hurt so much. Was she drinking again? 'The hangover is killing me'. Taeyeon saw her aunt who is a doctor. She smiled but when she looked at her surroundings, she frowned. What was she doing here? At her aunt's clinic. 

"You passed out, Taeyeon." She finally spoke, there were no one else in the room. "Who brought me hear?" She managed, she didn't get why it was so difficult to say something, her head was spinning endlessly.

"Tiffany did, she went to the toilet."

"How long have you been feeling dizzy?" She suddenly asked sitting on the chair next to the bed. "I.. I don't know, is something wrong with me?" 

Her aunt Kim Jiyong sighed deeply taking her niece hands into her own. She gave her a sympathetic look. 

"Have you been... dealing with nausea... fatigue?" Why was she hesitating? 

"I... I guess." Jiyong's gaze fell down. "What ? Why are you asking me?" Taeyeon spoke almost immediately- wave of panic washing over her.

"I'll let you know when Tiffany gets-" The door opened revealing Tiffany.

Her eyes showed concern and care. She hesitated for a moment when she walked in.  Briefly looking at Taeyeon, before walking closer and also sitting at a chair nearby.

"Tell ... me?" 

"Taeng-ah..." Fany started trying to break the news to her, when her aunt noticed this she decided to tell her herself. "You had a miscarriage, child..."

"Miscarriage? W-what d-do you mean?" Taeyeon's voice cracked and it was clearly apparent that, nothing made sense to her. She panicked glancing at both of them back and forth. "You ... knew- you were pregnant right?" 

"W-what?" 

"Why didn't you tell us...?" Tiffany asked trying to act calm and understanding but Taeyeon's face blanked out. "Y-you didn't know?"
