My Heart, Opened Up
Description
Exactly as the title says – a girl’s heart fully opened up, story-style, as everyday she goes through different people, experiences, torture, growth, happiness, failure, and most of all, opposite choices of whether she should live or die, every day as things get worse and worse over the years. Based on my own life story, here Jiyeon and I will both spill everything, becoming different people once we reach the end of the story. Every single character is based fully upon the people in my real life, adding onto the unique mix that each and every person gives you as they come and go throughout your book of life.
[A/N: This actually might be a bit rated considering all the...sad, death-related things going on here...some scenes and events might be a bit over-exaggerated, but basically this story's a mirror of my entire life so far, with maybe some twists here and there...Mostly it'll be Jiyeon's past which mostly relates, but nevertheless I do hope you enjoy it! ^^]
Foreword
Dear Journal,
Guess what?
I just tried to die.
But, seeing the word 'tried' on there, not to mention that I'm still writing this you, must say something, right?
I failed. But of course, this isn't much of a surprise; just a disappointment. Sooyoung will kill me for sure; as if she hasn't tried to do so already. Sure she has her decent days, but I doubt this is one of them, especially with her stupid ordeals with Sunny. Or just her firm belief that I'm nothing but stupid since I'm the only kid in the house while she and everyone else are adults and oh so wise, needing to correct me in every damn thing I do wrong.
Just like a student.
I feel so caged in here, you know that?
I don't want to talk about it, I don't want to be corrected, and I don't want to be lectured at.
I just want to escape. Is that so hard?
Apparently so.
Well...Another reason why I'm not buried in my own comforting, lone grave anymore - well, for now at least - is because of Seung-Ho oppa. Impeccable timing he has, but the thing is, he waited a bit too long. I guess, yeah, he did wait for a good while, and yeah, I'm still breathing oxygen and listening to SHINee because of him, but...
Would he alone be able to keep me going in a world that's always against me?
Nobody's ever there for me anymore, except maybe Sohee, but she's gone and out of my reach now that I ran away towards here...and Joohyun unnie's too busy with her jobs and boyfriend.
All in all...I don't know what will happen anymore. I'm never prepared for what will happen to me anyway.
I'm counting on you oppa...You wrenched me away from a tearful bliss, at a high cost - my heart.
Please take care of me.
