A nerdy-looking, super intelligent, apathetic 17 year old guy. He’s kind of mean to people without personally meaning it, which in turn made others believe he is an arrogant person. He was blackmailed into dressing up as a girl to go in place of his sister at an all-girl boarding school. He secretly writes his own music.
Choi Sooyoung
A tall, spunky, slightly boyish 17 year old girl that attends Mugunghwa Academy. She’s Ara’s roommate. She's a little slow with her school work, usually pestering her friends for help. She met Kyuhyun when she younger without knowing his real name, and loved him ever since. She’s a dancer and loves eating.
Cho Ara
The manipulative, bossy, 19 year old sister of Kyuhyun. She was held back her 3rd year of high school, and as a result, her parents were going to send her to an all-girl boarding school. At the time, she was dating a foreign man, so she refused to go. She blackmailed her brother to go for her instead. She cares for Kyuhyun, even if she doesn’t show it.
Kim Hyuna
The “grand flower” of Mugunghwa Academy. She’s multitalented, intelligent, and beautiful. Most girls are envious of her, but can’t hate her because she’s kind to everyone—except Sooyoung. She’s held a grudge on her since they were younger. She likes making Sooyoung’s life a living hell while acting nice at the same time.

I remember this one incident where I was mistaken as a girl.
When I was five, my mother sent me to bring my sister home for dinner. She was at her friend’s house down the street. Normally a mother wouldn’t send their five year old son out alone, but our neighborhood was very safe. Everyone knew each other and there weren’t any creepy people hanging around.
So I ran down the street and found my sister speaking to the neighborhood’s halmeoni. I timidly approached the two when my sister saw me and waved me over.
“Does eomma want me for dinner, Kyu?” she asked. Since I was a shy kid, I just nodded my head, looking down. Noona glanced at the halmeoni and then to me. “Ne, this is my little bro—“
