Jessica never knows that her hands move by itself. When Taecyeon kiss her forehead, she moves her hands to release Taecyeon’s button. After all the button was ed, that showed Taecyeon’s body was full of bruised. On his shoulders, there was big scratch with the red mark. The end of the wound already healed but still, it looks like already bleed badly before. When Jessica moves her eyes on Taecyeon’s abs, she found bruises again which already turning into blue. Jessica can’t hold her tears anymore.

“I’m sorry” just one sentence which left with thousand tears following. Taecyeon on the other side feeling devastated seeing Jessica, he buttoning his shirt again.

“Jessica…” he reaches Jessica’s petite body and pulls her into his embrace

“I just make you like this, you must hate me instead of being here” said Jessica in the middle of hiccups

“No” Taecyeon caressing her hair softly “I won’t leave you”

“Why?”

“Like I said before, even you forgot me at all, I can’t leave by your side”

Jessica tightens their hug and feels Taecyeon’s embrace was right. His arms feel like home, his smell makes her on the cloud nine

On the next morning, Jessica finds Taecyeon sleep soundly beside her. He folded his leg and one of his hand was above his hand. That was so cute for Jessica, so that she caressing Taecyeon’s cheek which make the latter stirring on his sleep

“Good morning” Jessica smiled

“Hi” Taecyeon returned awkwardly “What time is it?”

“5 AM”

“I think it’s time to leave” Taecyeon stretches his arms but stopped in the middle

“Are you okay?” Jessica approaches him in worries

“Uh, I think it’s okay” said Taecyeon as he climbed down from the bed. From the back, Jessica can see clearly that his steps were limping

“Are you sure you won’t ditch today?” said Jessica when they are in living room

“I will be okay”

“But you seem so weak” Jessica tugs his arms “Please, just rest”

Taecyeon see Jessica’s hand on his arms in disbelief, so does Jessica. They stand awkwardly until Taecyeon’s phone ringing

“Jihyo Noona, what’s happen?”

“Our team will take care Jessica’s case too, so you don’t need come to office because we will go there”

“Oh, okay then. I will be waiting”

“Who is that?” Jessica asked

“Jihyo Noona” said Taecyeon, after saw Jessica raise her eyebrows he continued “She is my team leader, they will investigate your case so I don’t need to come office”

“Great then, I have company for breakfast”

“Hahaha, okay then. I will take a bath”

“Okay, I’ll see you soon” said Jessica as she releases the grip.

For nth time, Woobin throws his anger this morning. He couldn’t believe that his plan was failed due to Taecyeon and Kris.

“We should be having Jessica for now!” Woobin kicks the table in frustration while his team just folded their hand.

“Mr. Woobin…”one of his staff suddenly calls him

“What?”

“Miss Tiffany wants to meet you”

“Huh?”

“What’s the matter, Tiffany-ssi? On the early morning like this?” said Woobin as he saw Tiffany in his living room

“I heard something happened last night”

“Then?”

“Taecyeon and Kris giving you difficulty? Let me give you some information then” Tiffany gives him a bunch of documents.

“What do you want actually, Tiffany-ssi?” Woobin narrowed his eyes into Tiffany when the brunette girl just shrugged her shoulders

“I want to separate Kim Taeyeon from Jessica Jung when you want to Jessica’s design, right?”

“Make sense, why must Kim Taeyeon?”

“There’s no need for me to telling you about the exact reason” Tiffany smirked “I know what shoud you do after. I hope there’s no failure again”

“I think you just worked for Eunjung”

“I work for the entire Kim, Woobin-ssi” said Tiffany as she stood “I’ll see you after”

Tiffany left the room while holding her phone. Indeed, there’s one reason which initiate her action just now. None other than Taeyeon’s message to her on the early morning.

From: Kim Taeyeon

I will absent today with Jessica
I will accompany her into the investigation

 Taecyeon and Jessica are having breakfast in the silence, until Jessica breaks it with sudden question

“Who is the girl that you kissed before?”

“Huh?” Taecyeon raise his eyebrows “Eunjung?”

“I don’t know her name”

“Oh okay” Taecyeon gulped his drink “She was my lover and we just being friended each other but I think that time we were overstepped”

“Hmm” Jessica humming but it makes Taecyeon suddenly feels guilty

“I’m sorry”

“Why you always said sorry about it?”

“Because I felt like I was doing something wrong”

“Where’s the wrong?”

“On my heart” Taecyeon smiled “My heart doesn’t belong to her”

“But me?” Jessica returned with wide smile “Taecyeon, even I forgot everything about you but when you’re on my side I always feel so right”

“Really?”

“Yeah, are we dating?”

Taecyeon was about to answer Jessica’s question when the bell is ringing. Jihyo and the others are coming for investigation

“Oh, they are coming” said Taecyeon as he stood up but Jessica holds his wrist

“You owe me an answer”

“Jessica, I…”

“Guys?” Taeyeon tilt her head when she comes with Jihyo and her team “I met them on the front so I let them in, and what are you doing?”

“Oh, nothing” Jessica takes her hand from Taecyeon’s wrist

“Good morning, Jessica-ssi” Jihyo gives her a bow which followed by the others “I hope you will be okay with doing the investigation”

“It’s okay” Jessica nodded

“Okay then, let’s start”

The investigation running smooth, just because there is limited memory of Jessica which remembered about something that probably happened to her
