"The fifteenth time you ring, I'm gonna throw you." I said to my phone.

Twelve.

Thirteen.

Fourteen.

Fifteen.

I picked up my phone and threw it against the wall. It continued ringing.

"STUPID PHONE!" I yelled before picking it up.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I said to the caller.

"Is this how you treat your best friend?" the caller said.

Best friend? Sounds like...

"OH, Hyun Ae! Sorry, I thought it was Jonghyun. He called fourteen times. I think."

"How are you?"

"Angry."

"Angry? Shouldn't you be sad? I mean, usually girls cry when they break up."

"I'm pissed. At myself and him. Urgh, what was I thinking? A guy like him, fall for me? And me, stupid enough to fall for his tricks. Eww, I'm disgusted."

I babbled on to Hyun Ae for hours.

"I have to go." she said.

"Okay, well, bye."

She hung up.

-Next day-

I walked into the park.

"Kyung Hee!" Jonghyun yelled.

Uh oh, why would he be here?

"Leave me alone!"

"No, listen."

"Shut up, I don't want to listen."

"WAIT!" he pulled away.

"What!"

"The girl. Soo Yun. Yeah, she told me. She told me Hyun Ae paid her to do that. To make you jealous."

"I don't believe you. Me and Hyun Ae have been friends for years."

"It's true." a girl's voice said.

I turned. It was the same girl who broke me and Jonghyun up.

"Hyun Ae paid me. I asked why and she said, she  hate to see you with Kim Jonghyun."

She told me all about it. And I kind of believed her. They told me to call Hyun Ae here and talk to her.

Hyun Ae: Hello?

Kyung Hee: Hyun Ae, can you meet me at the park?

Hyun Ae: Okay, what's up?

Kyung Hee: Just come, hurry up. Bye.

Hyun Ae: Bye.

"I think you guys should hide. If Hyun Ae sees me with you guys, she'll know I found out." I said.

"Okay." they said and walked away.

I sat and waited.

-

"Hi, Kyung Hee!"

I stood up and smiled at Hyun Ae.

"So why did you call me here?"

"I thought you were my friend."

"Huh? What are you talking about? I am your friend."

"You paid Soo Yun to make me jealous, didn't you."

"No I didn't! Who told you that?!"

"Someone's defensive." Jonghyun said from behind her.

"You! Soo Yun! You betrayed me." Hyun Ae said.

"I told you I love happy endings. You were too absorbed in making others jealous, you didn't listen. You paid someone as good as me to do your job." Soo Yun said.

"URGH!" Hyun Ae yelled and left.

"I'll be going." Soo Yun said.

"Thanks, bye." me and Jonghyun said.

"So..." he said.

"What?"

"Will you be my girlfriend again?"

"... No, Jonghyun. It's better for the two of us."

"What?! No, it's better for you!"

"Don't you want me to be safe? Who knows what Hyun Ae will do next time."

"But-"

"Besides, there's someone else in my mind." I smiled and walked off.
