At The Kim’s Manor

Before that, over at Kim’s Manor, the Kim’s family is set to have Bummie register at one of the exclusively-guarded-school-for-the-rich-families. It is a school where only a hundred of children are allowed to attend for safety reasons.

 Heechul:         Bummie, be ready, we have to go make reservation for next year’s school time. Hurry, son!

Jessica:           Honey, can I go?

Heechul:          Sure, darling, if you are not busy?

Jessica:           Uhhmm, looks who’s talking – I don’t know how many businesses to attend to and am not even half of what you are busy
                        with – of course, I will always and make time for our little Bummie – Oh, this is going to be exciting. I love it.

Heechul:          Me too, Hon – same here. Is Bummie ready?

Jessica:           Ms. Joonie, is he ready yet?

Joonie:            He’s ready Ma’m!

Bummie:         Mommee, Daddy, am coming. Where are we going?

Heechul:          Your school when you start studying next year.

Bummie:         Oh, but why? I study here in our house. Do I need to go to school? Oh, Mommy, do I look nice? (Wearing a black shirt
                       with yellow potato head print shirt topped with small fruity prints fruity jacket with pair of black shorts and a black printed
                       potato head socks under a hi-cut shoes)

Jessica:           (shaking her head-plainly amused of his son’s behavior) Yes, sweetie Bummie and yes too, you need to go to school.
                        What studies you are given here are basic to advance classes but you it is a must that you need to get one of those
                        certificates – see in my  album – you asked me one time what those certificates  are? Those are the ones I am talking
                        about. By the way, who chose that get ups for you?

Bummie:         Me!! Nice, nice?

Jessica:           Yeah, We always shop together. How was it possible?

Bummie:         aaisshh, Mommee – you busy… it is alright we have magazines and internet!

Jessica:           How - internet?

Bummie:         Oh Ms. Joonie – my teacher.

Joonie:            (bows her head in embarrassment) Ma’m I don’t have any idea about it however I will admit – of course – as part of our
                        program in-house lessons – I am teaching him Techonology.

Jessica:           Oh – oh yes, sorry about that. That is good. (Looks back at Bummie) But I didn’t expect you to use it for shopping
                        sweetie.

Bummie:         oh – Mommee – it is just an experiment.

Jessica:           (with a puzzled face looks at Heechul) Honey, do you hear what am hearing?

Heechul:          hhmmm… most probably a “mini-me” of you.

Jessica:           (pinches the side of her husband) Meannie!!

Bummie:         Oh, by the way Mommee what if I already know what the teacher is teaching? What will I do?

Jessica:           (turns to Heechul in a state of surrender) Honey, are you sure about this?

Heechul:          Hon, we have to. Bummie son, we will request for special arrangements from the school on how to deal with your studies
                        - would that be fine?

Bummie:          Well, okee daddee…  

Heechul:          Ms. Joonie, can you ask Mr. Taeyang (Bummie’s Butler) to send to three cars ready? And ask him to come along with us.

Joonie:            Yes, Sir.

Bummie:         Daddee…

Heechul:          Yes, Bummie…

Bummie:         is there any garden in the school with trees?

Heechul:          Yes, it has.

Bummie:         Good, I will bring my laptop in the school and I want a hammock, okee?!

Heechul:          ah-whaa (turns to Jessica and whispers) Hon, why does he need a hammock?

Jessica:           (whispers back at Heechul) oh hon, go ask him so you’ll know!

Heechul:          (asks Bummie back) uhhmm Bummie what so you need?

Bummie:         laptop, hammock, magazines, books and comics

Heechul:          hammock? Am okey with the rest but why hammock?

Bummie:         oh, daddee – you don’t know me. Hammock is for me to sleep when I get bored from the class. Okee?

Jessica:           (laughs) ha a-ha ha ha. Hee-hon wanna bb-bet it is gonna be one-heck of a hard-knock life for us…

Heechul:          Honey, oh my god – you bet… Oh, cars are here. Bummie come now… Hon…

Jessica:           ok…

Three cars are set to go: First car – driver and bodyguards, Second car – the Kim’s family with bodyguards, and finally third car – driver, Ms. Joonie and Mr. Taeyang. Inside the second car, Bummie settles himself between his parents, stands-up on his seat to see and appreciate the marvels outside their Manor’s environment. It is customary for the Kim’s to open the car windows while inside and closes it upon exiting the parkland area.

Meanwhile, Minnie has gone pretty wild with excitement waiting for them to get out of the gate – waiting exasperatedly – as things were not happening quite immediately for the past months – and now, can’t just seems to gather his joy over finally for the second time; seeing Bummie.

As the Kim’s finally reaching the gate, Bummie still in the standing position; catches his attention at the two people standing across their gate. One a not-so-old guy and a boy, curious and in wonder – calls his parents attention...

Bummie:         Daddee, Momme, look over there, see the boy jumping up and down smiling at me? Do you know him, daddee?

Jessica:           Oh, is he? Do you know him Bummie?

Bummie:         No Mommee. Who is he?

Jessica:           I think he lives across our street. He is perhaps Leeteuk and Sooyoungs’ son.

Bummie:         Oh, he is smiling at me, mommee. Me thinks – he is nice. Is he going to school too daddee same as mine?

Leeteuk:          Oh, that we don’t know Bummie. Maybe?

Bummie:         Maybe? Ok.

Outside the gate upon seeing that the three cars are finally out. Minnie shouts at the top of his lungs calling Bummie’s name…

Minnie:            Bummie!! Bummie!! Remember me!! Hello, Bummie!

Bummie:         Daddee, he is calling me – the boy?

Heechul:          Please stop the car – we need to say hello to Leeteuk and Sooyoungs’ son.

Driver:             Yes, Sir.

Jessica:           Wave at him, sweetie. Oh, he is so cute. You want to go down?

Bummie:         Okey Mom. (He steps out of the car going towards Minnie)

Minnie just as he sees the car opening and sees Bummie going out, he pulls Kikwang shirt and says…

Minnie:             (feeling jumpy) Mr. Kikwang, Bummie is going out – am nervous… what am I to do?

Kikwang:         What does your heart tells you to do?

Minnie:            My heart? I dunno Mr. Kikwang here he comes – I am very nervous… stand straight Minnie and look at him (but he could
                        not believe his eyes seeing Bummie face to face – he stares and stares….)

Bummie:         (So he waves and with a beautiful smile and says) Hello too!! How are you? Am Bummie!! What is your name?

Minnie:            (stuttering he responses) a-a-am Min-n-nie… y-you a-are bu-beautiful…

Bummie:         (turns to his parents and says) Mommee, Daddee his name is Minnie!!…

Jessica &Heechul:          Hi Minnie!!

Bummie:         (turns back at Minnie; who bows his head to show respect at Bummie’s parents – extends his hand for a shake). Here let’s
                       shake hands…

Minnie:            (instead of shaking hand – he catches Bummie’s hand and pulls him for a hug and says) Bummie, I like you…really like 
                        you…

Bummie:         (Innocently replies) oh, thank you Minnie…but I have to go, ok – nice to meet you (detaches himself from the hug but
                       smiles) Bye Minnie…

Minnie:            (saddened by the sudden lost of touch) uuhh

Bummie:         (runs back to the car while waving at Minnie) Bye, bye Minnie! See you…

Minnie:            (almost to tears) uuhmm..b-bye b-bye…

Jessica and Heechul both said their bye greetings Minnie by waving. Minnie feeling at a standstill shocked and lost by the sudden leaving of Bummie; pulls Kikwang shirt – sobs. Kikwang who has been amused and contented of watching the whole situation suddenly looks down at Minnie thus seeing the boy situation – could not help but pity him. However, he hushes Minnie and says…

Kikwang:         Minnie, it is ok. Bummie says he will see you soon. Ok..don’t cry… If Bummie sees you like that – he will feel sad too.

Minnie:            Really?

Kikwang:         Yes, so smile and be happy that AFTER (stressing it more louder) all this time, YOU (another stress and touches Minnie’s
                        face to wipe his tears) finally met Bummie.

Hearing Kikwang’s encouragement; the earlier gloomy to sobs face of Minnie changes to happier giggles and smiles…

 
Minnie:            Yes..and see Mister Kikwang? – He get out of the car to greet me. I am so happy. He is so beautiful…no?

Kikwang:         (smiles) Yes he is, Minnie.

Minnie:            Now you believe me – you are my witness. You know, I am going to be his bestfriend forever and ever!

Kikwang:         Am happy for you Sir Minnie, so can we go inside now? Your Daddy is probably worrying and looking for us now.

Minnie:            Sure, let’s go. (jumping and singing – he holds Kikwang’s hands

Back at Minnie’s House

Leeteuk:          (Seeing his happy son coming back, smiles and says) What happened son?

Minnie:            Am happee daddee, I meet Bummie!!

Leeteuk:          Oh! (in his mind he says, “So he didn’t give up waiting for the chance to meet that kid – so patient of this child” and says)
                        That is so nice to finally see him again after so many times of trying, ha?

Minnie:            Yes, Daddee.

Leeteuk:          Son, by the way – I don’t know if you like the idea…

Minnie:            what is it, daddee?

Leeteuk:          do you want to go to school? It is good, you now? You will meet a lot of kids of your age plus you will have playmates! So
                        what do you think?

Minnie:            (opens his arms in wide circular motion while saying) YES! Daddee but daddee..

Leeteuk:          Yes Minnie?

Minnie:            Can I go same school with Bummie, please?!!

Leeteuk:          Son, you are pretty like a stalker, ha?

Minnie:            What is a stalker, daddee?

Leeteuk:          Nevermind son, Ok – I will ask where your Bummie school is? So better hurry up and get ready, we need to register you
                        for school next year.

Minnie:            (Upon hearing what his dad said – leaps with joy) yeeepeee!
