Weeks with Taemin…

Taemin could not get over the feeling of happiness during the time he met Kibum in Paris; he was so ecstatic that he could not describe in what state he was in during that time and now, he feels very fortunate having to see Kibum every now and then or if the time allows. In such a short time, he was able his to manage what has been requested of him and as a result, is now quite prepared to take on a challenge to start with the responsibilities he previously proposed. He plans to take on another industry which he has been planning to study and master it…

No on his way back to his place on a windy afternoon, his mobile phone rings....

“Hello, I am fine... really?

So when is it going to be... wwaahhh...
I am so excited... will Key hyung be there?

I know, by the way hyung, I wish to take up another field of expertise...
I know, It will benefit us too, don’t you think?

This course will teach me the basics at first and I know it is also under
your umbrella of industries you handle so that when I finish with the course
then you may train me on the job.

Entering his place, Taemin quietly brings down his bag and documents; he heads directly to his room and lays his little bit tired body. He is some sort of in a dream state, staring at the beautiful painted ceiling of a couple frolicking in a garden  full of flowers, gazing intensely dissecting its beauty and visualizing him and Kibum being the couple in the painting having fun – he smiles.  He curls into a ball with his hands folded against his chest eventually turning his body sideways and detaching his gaze from the ceiling, unknowingly tears falling from his eyes without a sound.  Suddenly his noiseless cry has become subdued sobs then turning into soft cries and while weeping, talks to himself, saying...

“I love you Key hyung more than Minho hyung loves you...
I have not and will not try to divert my eyes and
heart to anyone but you...

I am not like Minho-hyung...

I know you were hurt by what Minho did but me;
I will definitely not hurt you...

I promise you that...
I know in time Key hyung – you will see me...”

After A Week, The Time Has Come....

KPK Headquarter 1

Today is Monday – it is a day for the induction of the new workforce for KPK Management, Kibum arriving early in his office being his usual calm demeanor; he goes directly to his own private mini-conference room and patiently waits for the meeting to happen. After thirty minutes has passed, he calls on Onew...

“Onew hyung, is everything all right...?
Are they all here?
How many will be inducted?
Seven people…

Alright… thank you… I will be fine here…
Hhmm… I will just observe…
Bye…”

The official welcoming ceremony inside the KPK Management is normally attended by almost all heads in Kibum’s business industries; it does not mean however that their physical presence are in attendance during the ceremony, attendees who are actually here are the ones inside the headquarter while others are present via live-telecast all around the globe.

Meanwhile, transpiring concerning Minho, Jonghyun and Yuri…

The three individuals though nervously excited have to appear calm, confident and competent on their first day of work. They arrived at the event fifteen minutes early just to show that they are organised and keen…

Jonghyun:       Minho-ssi, to be honest with you…
                        I never knew that the day I decided to go visit your family 
                        for a different atmosphere would end up to something
                        this extremely huge…
                        I mean look at us…
                        Yuri and I with the exception of you of course cause
                         it was because of you that we are here…

Yuri:                 (nods in spite fidgeting) Yeah… I agree…
                         I am so overwhelmed but thankful at the same time…
                         Thank you Minho…

Minho:             (shakes his head) aahhh no need to thank me
                        Jonghyun hyung and Yuri…
                         I mean everything happened for a reason…
                         Bum…

                         (covers his mouth upon mentioning Kibum’s name) hhhmm…
                         I mean the management might have seen something
                         good in us that we are given the opportunity to be a part of their team…

Yuri:                 (shakes her head too) No… I don’t think so Minho.
                         I am just being realistic, if I had not met you all by chance…

                         (gasps) Oh… wait… perhaps honey…
                         I wish to thank you for the chance to invite us during that one night…
                         If it did not occur, I would not probably be with you, Minho…
                        This wonderful opportunity… I am really grateful…

Jonghyun:       hhhmmm….
                        I guess we all met at the right time and purpose that night…

Minho:             (smiles) I thought so too hyung…

Jonghyun:       (nods) okay… everyone be ready cause anytime now,
                        Onew hyung or a staff will ask us to proceed to the hall…

                        (turns to look at Minho) by the way Minho-ssi…?

Minho:             (looks at Jonghyun) yes hyung?

Jonghyun:       Have you seen the induction place…?
                        I mean the hall…

Minho:             (shakes his head) No hyung… I have not…

Yuri:                 (wonders) Oh… I wonder how it would look like and
                         I am thinking in what way we are going to be introduced…

Jonghyun:       (in a query tone and expression) Why honey…
                        what do you mean?

Yuri:                 (holds her chest) you know…
                         I feel nervous I hope they will present us altogether and
                         not one by one…

Minho:             Yuri, well expect for the unexpected just be prepared…
                         I believe you have memorized your speech, right?

Yuri:                 (nods) yeah… I did… but still…
                         I am so nervous…Minho?

Minho:             Yeah…?

Yuri:                 Do you know who are going to attend and how many of them?

Minho:             (shakes his head) No… I don’t have any idea who are the 
                        invited people and who are to be inducted.
                        I only knew about the induction at the same time when
                        you guys first hand informed me before I could inform you.

Yuri:                 (gasps) Oh…

Jonghyun:       (gasps) really…?

Minho:             (nods) Yes… that is true…
                       
                        (is about to spill what Onew and him talked about but stops)
                        so don’t worry… and sorry that I don’t have any idea

Jonghyun:       (breathes in) It is fine Minho-ssi, Oh my… Yuri…
                        you are right, I am getting nervous…

Yuri:                 (surprised) I told you…

Minho:             well…let’s just say good luck to our speeches…

Jonghyun:       (laughs) yeah… probably, we’ll just keep our head up, posture straight,
                        and maintain eye contact with everyone who will listen to us 
                        and smile whenever it is appropriate…

Minho:             (smiles) exactly hyung…

Yuri:                 (smacks Minho) Oh… quit it Minho…
                         I know and I can feel you are also overwhelmed
                         by the whole thing going on…

Minho:             (surprised that they noticed) Oh does it show…?

Jonghyun:       (laughing) Minho-ssi, you might be a good actor if you will enter
                        movies but actual or true situation your natural behavior shows…

                        (taps Minho’s shoulder) no need to act brave…
                        Yuri and I can see you through…

Yuri:                 ha ha ha Minho… you are such a breather…

Minho:             (sighs) aaiissshh… I thought I can cover myself well…

Jonghyun:       uh-uh… no way…
                        we already know you too well Minho-ssi…

Yuri:                 (nods) yap…

Suddenly, their conversation is interrupted when a staff enters their area to inform them to get ready saying…

“Good morning, Mr. Minho, Mr. Jonghyun and Ms. Yuri.
I am Ms. Grace – I manage the Event Division of KPK Enterprise,
I am instructed by Mr. Onew to see and inform you of the
procedures on how the induction is going to be held.
I hope you have readied your self as well as your speeches;
just to let you know, limit your speech in maximum three minutes.

The whole event will consume in one and a half hours,
I will give you the induction program schedule.
One of the organising committees will let you know when
your time is up – as you will be transported inside
a non-transparent-view booth; what I mean is,
they will not see you and vice versa.
So just relax, I know you are all nervous.

After talking to you, be ready in two to five minutes,
one of the members will guide you to you way and by the way,
you will not also see the other inductees and you will be
placed in a booth separately…
