Events Within The Two Years Period…

Kibum’s Form…

Kibum’s life, with the help of Taeyang and Joonie, has continually been challenging, the list of demanding duties should not be taken lightly hence with the economic crisis emerging – he could not afford to lose a single moment of not taking things seriously especially talking about the sudden economic volatility situation affecting the industry globally. Apart from being on the lookout of competitors, he also has to consider the effects of political instability, changes and uprising from several countries hence, if not monitored every seconds could affect the business strength of his industries in countries involved. His monthly itineraries comprise traveling globally for three weeks and one week stay at one of his KPK’s headquarters.

Alone in his room, goes to the balcony and finds a comfortable place to rest – takes a deep breath and dial a number to call…

Kibum:             Mr. Taeyang, is everything all right with you?

Taeyang:         Yes, Bummie and how are you? Are you alright doing things on your own? I am sorry that I
                         can not attend to you right now – Joonie is going to give birth this month so that I need to
                         be on her side always…

Kibum:             (cheerful voice) Oh… yes… I am so happy for you… please extend my deepest regards 
                        to Ms. Joonie…please tell her, I miss her so much…Don’t worry about your and Ms. 
                        Joonie’s jobs, even from a distant you never fail to disappoint me… both of you have been 
                        very helpful and I greatly appreciate it too much…and by the way, how are my great grand
                        parents… are they giving you a hard time?

Taeyang:         (chuckles) Yes, I will tell her that and she’d be very happy…Oh?  His Majesty King and
                        Her Majesty Queen … they are alright but have been stalking me about when can you
                        finally visit your country or shall I say your future kingdom – cause you know they are
                        getting old…

Kibum:             (laughs) I will… when I finish some of the minor things that I need to arrange. I will see my
                        great grandparents and Papa as well… I bet Papa is having a wonderful time…

Taeyang:         (laughing) Oh yeah… he’s like always in a spectacular mood travelling here and to his own
                        kingdom… and is enjoying teaching his people how to manage their own business – his
                        kingdom is doing pretty well…

Kibum:             (sighs) Papa, I thought he wanted to retire but I guess I was wrong…

Taeyang:         (laughs) oh let it be… it’s not like thousands of businesses like yours but these are just
                        small to medium scale businesses and he is having a lot of fun… I guess – it is more like
                        enjoying his long-awaited freedom and still doing things he loves…

Kibum:             (laughs) yeah I know but I miss Papa and all of you… Good thing Mom and Dad came
                         along to be with me… otherwise it could have been so lonely …

Taeyang:         (exhales) Bummie, be fine… I will be back…

Kibum:             (sighs) yeah… I know…

Taeyang:         Please extend my deepest regards to your Mom and Dad, ok?

Kibum:             Oh I will… and you don’t have to worry – they always remember you and Ms. Joonie…

Taeyang:         (laughs) Thank you… by the way, don’t worry Bummie someone will come as my
                        temporary replacement and he is also a very good and reliable person… he is very young
                        and a distant relative of yours from your father side…

Kibum:             That’s a good one… I can’t wait to meet him…hhhmm… Mr. Taeyang?

Taeyang:         Yes Bummie?

Kibum:             I think two years from now; Mom and Dad have plans to temporarily stay in my great
                        grandparents place.

Taeyang:         (gasps) Oh… yes Bummie it was mentioned to me by Ms. Jessica. They are planning to
                        help Master Owen to develop these two countries to be more self-sufficient – I don’t know
                        exactly what they mean of being self-sufficient coz as far as I can see – these countries
                        are pretty very wealthy…

Kibum:             Aaahh Mr. Taeyang… Don’t wonder anymore I believe they want to explore at the same
                        time – have fun. It is also a good thing for my great grand parents to spend time with
                        them…I’d say… I am pretty sure… it would be fun… (sighs) all of you people
                        there….gosh… I feel excited even just thinking about it… I am really happy for Papa… I
                        miss him so much…

Taeyang:         You can come anytime you have a free time Bummie… your Papa as well as His Majesty 
                        King and Her Majesty Queen are just waiting for you to come. They will be very happy and
                        just to remind you Bummie… you will be crowned Prince soon…

Kibum:             (sighs) Mr. Taeyang aaaiisshhh…. Yes… I am aware of that and no matter if I don’t really
                        want it – I guess I need to…

Taeyang:         Yes Bummie. Be ready coz it will be happening soon…

Kibum:             It is going to be in a secret ceremony right? Oh… I wish Mom gets to be the person to take
                        over first before me…

Taeyang:         aaahh… Bummie that is never going to happen… The crown is for you… I think the
                        ceremony will be held secretly but if not… it would not be a problem coz what you in the
                        business world – they do not know you – is a lot different from having to know you as the 
                        Prince of two Kingdoms…

Kibum:             (chuckling) Mr. Taeyang, I think you are the one more excited about what is going to
                        happen …

Taeyang:         (excited voice) Of course I am Bummie… Of course I am… my goodness apart from being
                        a worldwide admired and respected very young businessman – I mean secretly, you are a
                        prince as well… Bummie… I am just so proud of you… you know…

Kibum:             (chuckling) Thanks Mr. Taeyang…I am waiting for the time you come here with me… and I
                        am  more wiling to have your entire family live with me…

Taeyang:         I will talk to Joonie – and don’t worry Bummie – she will be very happy to be with you 
                        again…

Kibum:             Thank you for your time… I don’t want to bother you more… Take care Mr. Taeyang… I
                         will call you again…

Taeyang:         Don’t mention it Bummie… you are most welcome…

Kibum sighing rests his weary head and says…

“I guess there are still so many things that are expected of me… hhaaiii…. I wish life gives me a good life later on… I would be very happy”

Minho’s Situation…

So two years have passed, for Minho, still at some point in the early times, was having a hard time adjusting to the new environment of not having Kibum by his side. There were times when he would cry to his heart content and times that each day was like an agonizing journey for him especially when he’d see the school’s greenhouse.

It was too painful for him that there were moments he’d question if Kibum has really cared enough for him but would only revert back to a positive mode remembering those special moments that Kibum and he spent together and that one very special night. Up to now, every week during the times he could not stay in Kibum’s room, Minho never misses to visit the other’s room. 

Currently in his own room right now, he has accepted that fact that he might not hear a word from his beloved best friend and has adjusted a little bit but still aims to study or perhaps work in Paris when he reaches college thus every time he’s thinking about it, makes him so excited – this goal of his, is like a living pledge which gives him inspiration and energy to go on with his daily lives. More so, he makes it to a point to write in his journal about his past and present activities.

In addition, after as part of his daily routine after school, he would ask Kikwang to stop at a magazine stand to check on Kibum’s name appearing on a magazine or newspaper.

Thus, unknown to his parents, he is pushing his self very hard to concentrate on his studies with the aim of entering an escalator type of educational system that would facilitate him to advance his education thus finishing his high school and college early with the main purpose of becoming useful and gaining work experiences that will help him in the future. With this kind of perception, it helps him to eradicate the emptiness of not having Kibum around thus serves a determination of achieving his goal.
