Many hours passed by when Taehyung woke up with a slight headache and empty stomach. He looked at the time to see it was almost 1pm and got up, only to trip on a water bottle that was on the floor. Picking it up, he noticed a package of small pills along with a note on the table.'Take two of the orange pills after you eat. I'll be back before six, so don't eat dinner yet ok? Love, Hoseok'

Jimin had already given him cough syrup for his throat and fever but nevertheless, Taehyung was pleased by the fact that his friend took time out of his day to buy him medicine and write a cute note. Now in a happy mood, he stretched before washing up and eating the porridge as he whistled around the house. While waiting for the porridge to cool down, he checked his phone and saw a message from Jungkook that was sent an hour ago.

'So... I downloaded Skype and was wondering if you could give me your I.D so we can skype sometime?'

Asdfghjkl, this kid really asked him for his I.D! Today was a really, really good day. Ecstatic, he responded back in a few seconds.

'SURE! My I.D is V! And I have a lot of random people adding me so what's your I.D?' - Taehyung

He waited for a few minutes but the other didn’t reply back so he tossed his phone on the couch as he walked to the kitchen to eat his porridge.

Three hours had passed and Taehyung was in his room, almost finished with studying and writing notes for class. Just then, his phone buzzed and he picked up to see the other responded back to his message.

'I added you right now. Mine's JeonJungkook.'

Taehyung hurriedly searched for the other's username and added him. But when he goes to click on the boy's profile to take a closer look at his default picture he was disappointed to see a stock photo image of books. He must be insecure about his face or he must really like books... It could only be one of those two options. But that somehow made him even more interested in the other, because it made the other look more mysterious.

'Lol @ your username... And I added you back! And I'm really sick rn so idk if you wanna skype cause I look horrible. But what's up with your dp lol

As soon as he sent that, the other replied back in a few seconds.

'I don't really care how you look if that's what you're worried about. Here.'

A file was sent to Taehyung from the other and he immediately downloaded it, wondering what it was. But when he opened the file, he almost fell off his chair. His heartbeat started increasing rapidly, and he inhaled a sharp breath.

Wasn’t this the boy who was right outside Hoseok's dorm?! The one he had bumped into?! It couldn’t be.... Without hesitation, Taehyung texted back to the younger, his fingers rapidly typing on his cellular keyboard. He needed to confirm his gut feeling...

'Were you the guy waiting outside the hallway of apartment 256 yesterday?!'

He held his breath, anticipating the other's response. In less than a minute, Jungkook texted him back.

'How did you know...?’

- Jungkook

Oh my god... So it was him!! This meant he was in Seoul! He just thought Jungkook was living in Busan because of his Busan satoori accent, but knowing that the other was living such a close distance gave butterflies in Taehyung's stomach. He could actually meet up with him... See his face up close... And physically touch him. He was tangible to Taehyung.

'We bumped into each other... I was wearing the red beanie and black jacket!!'

'Oh my god...'

- Jungkook

'Small world, right...

'... Call me on Skype right now'

- Jungkook

'Huh?? Oh ok....’

- Taehyung

Taehyung was feeling nervous as hell, but he couldn’t help but feel the excitement. It was unusual for someone like him to get worked up about something so trivial like finding out his fake boyfriend lived in close proximity from him but... It was the first time he felt infatuated with someone. Part of the reason he got hired in the company was that he could easily detach himself from relationships and it was difficult for him to catch any feelings for anyone. So because this was the first time he was feeling a mix of emotions, it scared him. Feeling giddy but uneasy, his hands shook as his mouse hovered over the video call button. He shut his eyes tight and held his breath as he clicked on the button and the Skype call started ringing. Taehyung quickly fixed his fringe as well as his slightly wrinkled shirt and sat up straight the second he heard their call connecting.

When he saw the other look up at the camera to stare at him, his heart started racing because he was even more handsome on video. It took him a moment to speak up because he was so concentrated on his inner thoughts of the younger on how amazing he looked until the other spoke up.

"Wow... I didn't expect you to be this cute." Jungkook mumbled, frowning. Instead of looking relieved that Taehyung was attractive, the other sounded as if he was mildly concerned with him being more decent looking than he was. But Taehyung was too busy blushing at the fact that the other had just called him cute.

"So... Are you in 12th grade or... Cause uh, I think... Uh, I'm older than you..." Jungkook asked awkwardly, and Taehyung almost fell off his chair again. He didn’t expect the other to be so adorably awkward!

"I'm a sophomore in college haha!!" He laughed out loud, and the other's eyes widened in shock.

"What?? You're older than me?!" He yelled in surprise, and Taehyung grinned at him. "Yup! What about you?" He asked.

"I'm a freshman..." Jungkook answered, pouting as he scratched the back of his head. But when he tilted his head, the right side of his collarbone was revealed a little, and Taehyung gulped. How the hell could someone be this cute and hot at the same time?! Immediately he got all thirsty because his mouth was getting dry. And it wasn’t the lack of water that was getting him all thirsty.

"By the way, sorry for the sudden Skype call... I was just feeling down so I wanted to talk to someone." The other apologized, and Taehyung frowned.

"No, it's fine. Why were you feeling down?" He asked, and Jungkook looked down as he sighed.

"It's a pretty stupid reason..." He admitted, but Taehyung leaned in closer to the computer, showing the other that he was all ears.

"... Well, this is gonna sound dumb but I met this guy and me uh... I only met him like three times? But I think I like him already... And I went to his workplace to go see him but I saw him leave with another guy and my... My heart is hurting. I'm not sure why I feel this way since I don't even know the person that well, but it's been bothering me all day today. And my friends are out on a date so I didn't want to bother them so I just decided to call you..."

Right when the younger mentioned that he has a crush, Taehyung couldn’t help but feel bitter towards the guy who made Jungkook unhappy. How dare he...

"... I mean, I know it's not his fault at all since it's not like he saw me waiting for him... He doesn't even belong to me so I don't know why I'm feeling betrayed. I'm so stupid and selfish for feeling this way..." Jungkook continued, and the whole time he was speaking, Taehyung could clearly tell he was heartbroken.

... He wanted no more than to make the younger feel better. He wanted to make Jungkook smile and not feel heavyhearted.

"Hey... Jungkook,"

"…Yeah?" Jungkook asked, and lifted his head up to look at Taehyung, who looked like he was concentrating on something.

"We have exactly two weeks until the contract ends, right?"

"Uh... Yeah? Why?" Jungkook looked puzzled by the random question.

"Let's meet up, and go on a date. I can help keep your mind off of your crush. Two weeks will be enough time for you to heal." Taehyung answered, grinning. Jungkook instantly looked at him in disbelief. He didn’t expect that at all...

"I... Uh... Sure?" He stammered, completely taken aback from the sudden proposition. When he agreed, Taehyung chuckled at how his cheeks were turning into a flushed pink.

"Are you free tomorrow at 3pm?"

"Y-Yeah... Where are we...? Uh, meeting?"

"I'll pick you up at your house. Where do you live?" He asked, and he saw Jungkook turn pale.

"I-I... Uh... I live with my roommates... And they're gonna get suspicious if you come pick me up... Cause I don't have any friends... And if you tell them you're my boyfriend, they won't believe you since... Uh... Remember, I told them you lived in Los Angeles?" Jungkook confessed, and Taehyung went, "Ah..." He totally forgot about their call!

"Let's just meet up at Hoegi Station..." Jungkook suggested, and Taehyung agreed. He then checked the time and realized it was almost 6pm so Hoseok was coming home soon.

"My roommates are coming home soon, so you should rest. I'll uh... See you tomorrow...” The other gave him a shy wave, and Taehyung smiled. He waved back at the screen and said goodbye before the other hung up the call. As soon as they ended the call, he heard the door open so he got up and saw his best friend holding a brown bag that was getting greasy on the bottom corner.

"What's that?" He asked when Hoseok handed him the bag and peered inside. When he realized it was full of burgers and fries from Burger King, he jumped up and down yelling in excitement.

He thanked Hoseok and immediately grabbed a handful of fries and stuffed them in his mouth, not caring about how his hands were getting greasy. Hoseok gave a loud laugh as he watched his friend devour the fries under a minute and now moving on to the burgers. It had been a while since Taehyung had eaten burgers from Burger King because Jimin had been restricting burgers from his diet after he found out one day that Taehyung had sneaked off at two in the morning to go and satisfy his burger cravings. But since Jimin was out with Yoongi, Hoseok was able to fill his friend's need. After he finished the whole bag that was served for two people, Taehyung came back from washing his hands and saw Hoseok just lying down on the couch in the living room, watching TV.

"So, how was your day?" Hoseok asked as he mindlessly switched the channels one by one, and Taehyung just hummed as he sat down next to his friend.

"You're acting strange... Are you that happy that you got to eat burgers or did something else happen?" Hoseok looked at his friend in suspicion, but the other just looked at the TV screen humming, completely ignoring his friend. Hoseok pouted, crossing his arms because his friend wasn’t paying him any attention.

"I'll tell you everything tomorrow~" Taehyung finally replied, smiling, and Hoseok uncrossed his arms.

"Fine."
