The arranged time had already arrived and Seolhyun had just reached the place, waiting anxiously. She looked at her watches, it was already past the time she had written on the note. It was boring and nerve-racking to sit alone on the bench in an empty street when it was already starting to get dark and colder outside. 
Hyejeong was still nowhere to be seen. She took a deep breath in, trying to comfort herself with happy thoughts. 
'She will be here in no time. Of this I am sure.' 
'Ugh, I should trust her! She is Hyejeong. She never breaks her promises.' 
'Maybe she just did not notice the note I left? I should have messaged her instead.' 
Yet, the optimistic thoughts were just not enough. The longer she waited for Hyejeong, the worse her thoughts became. 
'Hold on, what promises? She never even promised to come here.' 
'She definitely detests me after yesterday's encounter.' 
'She doesn't even care.' 
'Even if she does, she will never love me back.'

15 minutes. 
... 
30 minutes.
... 
45 minutes. 
... 
An hour. 
... 
30 more minutes.
... 
At last Seolhyun grew tired. She chose the first option that came to her mind in order to make a decision ("to keep on waiting" or "to give up")- she took her phone and dialled a number. 
"Hello?" A familiar voice answered the call quickly.
"Hey, Chanmi-ssi. Is Hyejeong eonni home?" 
"Uh? Yeah, she just came back a few minutes ago." 
"..." 
"Eonni?" 
"..."
"Are you okay?" 
Seolhyun sighed. "Yeah. Thanks. See you later." 
She ended the call without even hearing Chanmi's reply, and now, there was only one thought left in her mind:
'As I thought. It was too good to be true.'

"Choa eonni!" Hyejeong stopped the short blondie. "Isn't Seolhyun back yet?" 
"Hmm, no?" Choa said with uncertainty. "I haven't seen her around." 
"She's staying at her sister's for a couple of days. She just told me about it." Jimin passed by, interfering their conversation. 
"Really? Why--" Choa started, though she had to stop herself as soon as Hyejeong rushed back into her room wordlessly. "Hey, what's wrong with her?" Choa pointed at the direction Hyejeong went while looking at Jimin, who just shrugged and pursed her lips. "I bet she had an argument with Seolhyun." 
Hyejeong almost slammed the door as she forced an entrance into her room. She looked slightly tortured outside and she was all messed up inside. She kept wandering within the room, biting her lips in frustration and occasionally rubbing her forehead or face. She felt weird: there was a condensed energy throughout her entire body that she was unable to completely release. She tensed up as she felt an infusion of adrenalin. She finally managed to force herself to sit on the bed, though rested her head in her palms and still kept shaking with anger. She kept blaming herself, hating on herself, finding the whole guilt in no one else but herself. She had to go there, but she didn't. She actually left the house to meet Seolhyun, but she stopped in the midway. She didn't know what to talk to Seolhyun about. She had no idea how to start, keep up with and end the conversation that would be brought up if she went there. She was too confused because of her own feelings towards Seolhyun and she herself was having a hard time fi
