The birds were chirping rather cheerfully outside the glass window. The morning of the day was awakened by people flooding to works, cars and busses let out none colour smoke filling the atmosphere. Junmyeon started the day like usual ; stretching a little, boiled the water, woke his son up and made breakfast consisted of healthy food.

" Chanyeol, eat up. Don't take too long, okay? I'm going to take a bath," Junmyeon said, didn't look at his son as the little boy sat down, starting to eat his breakfast.

" Umma!! Are we going to see appa today?!" Chanyeol managed to shout before his umma disappeared completely upstairs.

" Yes, we will!!"

" How's the patient's doing?" the doctor walked into the room, eyes were bored. The nurse looked up from the report she was writing.

" Nothing change, doctor," the nurse answered, voice was toneless. She immediately wrote the report back. The doctor sighed a little too harshly.

" Byun.. Baekhyun is his name, right?" The doctor asked, wasn't fond of remembering any of his patient's name. The nurse hummed.

" He got no hope of waking up anymore.."

" This is really a waste of a time.."

" I have prepared the documents of the divorce," Mr. Lu placed the pile of documents onto the table; in front of his son. Luhan stayed silent, bringing up the cup to his lips. Mrs Lu gave a soft glare to her husband. The man sighed, sitting down beside the young man.

" Luhan, you need to remember that this is for your own good. You will surely thank us after this," he said. Then, the older man sipped his tea. Luhan reminded silent. Mrs Lu started to feel nervous. Their son took a deep calming breath.

" How do you know that I'll be thankful?" He asked, eyes were glistening in disappointment.

" Luha-..."

" Pa, enough!! You always think that you're right! Really, Pa?! Look at my legs!! It's a wrong choice of me to trust you!" Luhan shouted, angry tears sliding down his face. Mrs Lu was left speechless, shaking in fear of what might happen to his only son.

" Get out."

" Honey, what are you talking about?!" Mrs Lu desperately grasp her husband's arm but the look on Mr Lu's face was determined.

" Get.Out.From.This.House.This.Instant."

" Appa, how are you today?" Chanyeol asked, tugging on Baekhyun's pale arm. The man stayed motionless, breathing calmly. The little boy didn't seem upset by that. Junmyeon found him sighing in happiness because he had an understanding son.

" Chanyeol, do you want to read a story for your appa?" Junmyeon approached. The boy's eyes lit up in pure joy.

" Yes!" Chanyeol exclaimed excitedly, almost bouncing up and down on the patient bed. The older man took out a book from the bag and handed it to Chanyeol.

" Appa, I'll tell you a story,okay?" Chanyeol paused like he was waiting for an answer from his father. But, nothing came from the father's mouth. Junmyeon almost broke in tears when the little boy hummed and started reading.

" Once upon a time, in a poor village, lived a man with his beloved son..........." and the story went on and on. The mother stayed loyal to the little boy's side, hearing the story of a loving father that sacrificed everything for his only son.
