Arranged MarriageKogyeol woke up with a sharp knock at his door. He checked his phone. 13:04 pm. He had been asleep for about half an hour. Another knock sounded. “It’s not locked!” he shouted. The door opened. Kogyeol expected to see his butler, but instead, he saw a redhead he never saw before.
“Sorry to intrude. My name’s Wooshin,” the male said, smiling. He was definitely handsome. Kogyeol, not forgetting his manners, immediately stood up and walked towards the door. “Oh, sorry. Uh…” he awkwardly shifted. He saw Wooshin’s eyes trained on his neck and immediately remembered. “Oh, god. I totally for-” Wooshin shushed him. “I know; I came to apologize on my idiot brother’s behalf.”
Kogyeol assumed his brother is Kuhn. He sighed heavily. “Oh, you really don’t need to. It was my fault- kind of. And… wait you saw that?” Wooshin chuckled. “I didn’t mean to. Let’s just forget about it? You must be feeling down right now.” Kogyeol nodded, looking down. “So, wanna go out? My treat.”
“Huh?” Wooshin chuckled again. Kogyeol blushed. “You don’t have to think of it as anything romantic; I just hope we’d be friends.” “Ah, well. If you don’t mind. Thank you for the offer,” Kogyeol said, smiling. He went to grab a scarf before heading out with the redhead.
They took Wooshin’s car to the city and stopped by an ice cream shop. Kogyeol wasn’t used to going out to shop or snack, since it was not encouraged. “It’s been a while since I went out to the city,” he commented. “Me too. It’s quite nice. What flavor would you like?” Wooshin asked. “Um…” Living in aristocracy, with a father owning a huge company and an equally powerful mother, Kogyeol wasn’t too used to this. “I guess… strawberry?” he finally decided.
