Soojung/Krystal Jung has always been known as the Jung Company's heiress. Her parents died when she was young and only has a sister and her grandpa. You think that living as an heiress would be very relaxed and fun but to her it is not. She wants to disappear from this world and Seoul to pursue her studies in LA. Her dream is to become an bussiness woman without any help from her family. As the favourite of the Jung Grandpa, he makes her wish comes true and sent her to LA. She doesn't have any contact with her only sister, Hyuna. She loves her sister but Hyuna is always cold to her. Her only contact with this elite world is her Grandpa who wants her to realise that her place is at the head of the Jung Company. When Jung Grandpa died, she has to come back to Seoul to lead the company. 

 Myungsoo/L Kim is the second son of the Kim. His parents own the Kim Company which works with the Jung Company. The two families are friends since the establishment of the two companies but Soojung and Myungsoo don't know each other. His older brother, Woohyun, is the heir who is going to lead the company. When he was 10 years old, their parents sent him to New York where he decided to finish his studies before to come back to South of Korea last year. He becomes the Marketing Director of the Kim Company and also works for the Jung Company. Since he came back, he has a kind "some" relationship with the sister of Soojung but he doesn't really love her.
