“Pull over. Let me drive for awhile.” (Verkwan)
One Hundred Ways to Say ‘I Love You’//All of them are two years older than now//
At first, you wouldn't even tell Seungkwan was tired, because he somehow was extremely good at faking it. For the sake of his friends and SEVENTEEN he had to learn to look pumped up even if he felt like falling to the ground and staying there, resting, until the end of autumn. But Hansol noticed, like he always did, without of course telling the others. Knowing how hard Seungkwan worked, he would never be the one to throw all his work away. However, this day had something different. Maybe it was the air maybe it was his mind, but Hansol felt like doing something. He approached Seungkwan silently, grabbing carefully his arm and leaning over him, to whisper on his ear a few words no one else inside the car could listen even if they tried, which they didn't.
"Stop after passing the next roundabout and exchange seats with me."
Seungkwan looked at him for a second, confused, before turning back to the road. The look on Hansol's face told him it wasn't something debatable, so he did as he had been told and stopped the car a few minutes later. They'd been driving for a good long twenty minutes, so most of the members inside the car were asleep, after the hard time they had practicing on that new stage, the one they were going to act at the next day. Their driver had a problem with his wife and needed to leave, so Seungkwan offered himself to drive them to the hotel. And so they did.
"Why are we stopping? Is something wrong?" Asked Jihoon, blinking a couple of times and yawning.
"Don't mind us, I just want to..." Hansol waited until Seungkwan exited the car before he replied. "Drive for a while."
"Sure." Jihoon closed his eyes again, arms crossed and head resting on Soonyoung's shoulder.
Hansol went out and stood next to a questioning Seungkwan.
"Why would you ask me to exchange sits? Were you jealous I was driving?" He tried laughing a bit but the sound that came was more like a coughing. Hansol frowned, and stared at him from a closer distance.
"Just put your on the co-driver seat and let me drive for awhile." He put his hand on Seungkwan's shoulder, close to his neck, caressing his skin. "It's okay that you want to look strong and full of energy for our sake, but I don't want you to over-exert. And it's safer if you rest a little. Okay? I worry about you."
Seungkwan stared at him deep and straight right before stepping forward, surrounding him with his arms, placing his forehead on Hansol's cheek.
"I'm not going to cry."
"I didn't even say a word."
"But I'm not going to."
"You're already crying, aren't you?"
"Yes man."
