Time With The Maknae
Win A Date With U-Kiss(discontinued fully)Dongho and I start our date by strolling in a mass park early in the morning when there were no other people but jogging seniors and middle-aged fellas who don't give a damn about who UKiss is.
I have always spazzed about UKiss back when I was still with my friends. I never imagined I'd be so demure around them. I used to imagine my first meeting with them going all "Oppa! Let's take a picture! Oppa! Give me your autograph! Oppa! Are OTPs true?"
"So," Dongho tries to break the ice between us. "Tell me more about yourself."
"I'm Sooyoon."
"Skip that part already."
"Ok," I widen my eyes at him. Wow, I guess him being rebellious was not a lie after all. I'm fifteen years old, and I'm a KissMe."
"You're fifteen?" he confirms with an with a slightly astonished expression.
"Are you saying I look older that fifteen?" I raise my eyebrows at him.
"No," he chuckles, "just that I remember calling you noona on our first meeting. Sorry about that."
I giggle at the thought that he still remembers. "It's fine."
We laugh at each other for a while until we sober up simultaneously. "Let's eat," he flashes me that pretty smile of his. I stare at him in reverie for a while.
He pokes my cheek playfully. "Are you hungry?" he smiles even more, but this time, goofily.
I nod. I could've sworn I heard my stomach cheer 'FINALLY!'
We walk to an isolated spot under the tree, setting a mat flat on the grass. I place the basket I had been holding on the mat.
Dongho opens the basket to witness it full of different kinds of sandwiches. "You made this much?" he chuckles.
He grabs a sandwich with chocolate filling and I take a salad sandwich.
"What's it like in your hometown?" he asks, taking a bite off his sandwich.
"Peaceful, boring."
"Peaceful?" he looks at me with a rather amused expression. "I'm envious."
"Why?"
"I'm an idol, so I have a rather busy schedule. How I wish my life was boring."
"Speaking of which," I take a bite off my not-even-half-eaten food, "how do you even manage to keep up with school?"
"I go to school once a week," he finishes his sandwich.
I gape at him. "Wow, you're so lucky."
"That's a bright side about being an idol, I don't have to deal with the miserable pressure school gives every day," he laughs and our conversation keeps going.
We kept talking until sunset, finishing all the sandwiches I made. "I think we better go," he grasps a hat and sunglasses from his bag and put them on, puffing his cheeks in the process.
"You're so cute," I had to fight the urge to pinch his cheeks. I gawk, did I just say that?
He blushes, "let's go."
We took a taxi back home, I felt exhausted all over and I was almost super sure Dongho felt the same. "Oppa," I utter from the left side of the passenger seat, looking out the window. We were sitting on opposite sides.
"Yeah?"
"I had fun," I look at him and he looks at me with a blank expression. I then smile at him sincerely and I could've sworn his face was tinted with red.
