he is gentle gazes and warm hands. he is knowing smiles and lingering stares;
he is the rain that washes away every worry.

your eyes lock and never dare to break away. time comes to a stop and a deafening silence fills the room. 

there’s nothing to say. the words cloud your mind yet you find yourself at a loss.
your voice is gone and your train of thought has drifted off-

he says your name and the exhilaration that runs through your veins almost makes your body go numb.
and his lips curve only the slightest bit; you force yourself to look away because
everything in this very moment just feels like too much.

but feathery touches are felt and his fingers are under your chin– his smile has only grown more. 

your name leaves his lips again; you swallow hard and a shaky breath escapes.

brown eyes seem to soften more than you ever thought possible and fingers ghost over your skin.
his lips meet yours– one, two, three times– and between each gesture of affection, he murmurs your name again.
