“Everyone wears a mask. Good, Evil, Compassion, Conscience, Justice.. Names of these masks. From time to time, we mistake those masks to be our real selves. But here, without any exception we take off all those masks.”

“Cue” says the PD and some fire blasts out, the same time as the man points to the main stage, revealing a total of  ₩10million displayed. The man walks to the main stage and walks around the money, accompanied by the audience cheering. He continue with his lines “Your true self looking at this money… What would it be?” He moves his hand to his mask, taking it off his face and says “I’m the host of this show. Choi Seunghyun imnida.” The audience starts to cheer again.

(at Suzy’s house)

“Urgh”, Suzy grunts as she carry the luggage in to her house. She lock her front door and windows, even closing the curtains. After ensuring that no one can look inside her house, she drag the luggage to her room and empty the luggage. Her bed is full of money and she begin to count the money. ‘100 dollar bills.$5000 bunch. Exactly half a million dollars. They’re all new bills. What’s all this money? And who is that grandma? Why did she give me this money to a stranger like me?’ Suzy gulps her saliva at the sight of those stacks of money lying on her bed. She looks at her calendar and saw all kinds of debts that she haven’t pay yet. She shakes her head, trying to shake off the feeling of owning the money “I have to find the owner. That’s why I brought it here. Right.” She put away the luggage, leaving the money on the bed and just lie on it “Hah, right. Let’s just stay this way for a minute. As soon as the sun comes up, I’ll take it to the police.” And just like that, Suzy drifts off to her dream land.

THE NEXT MORNING…

*KNOCK KNOCK* 

“Oi, Bae Suzy!!”

*KNOCK KNOCK*

“Is Bae Suzy here?!” It’s her father’s creditor.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Suzy wake up and panic at the sight of the money laying on her bed, her panic increases when she heard her father’s creditor yelling outside her house. She immediately grab the luggage beside her bed and shove the money inside.

“How dare you sleep in without depositing your interest, Suzy-ah?” yellsthe creditor, who’s still waiting outside the door.

“I-I-I still have two more days.” Suzy replied while shoving more money to the luggage.

The creditor become flustered by Suzy’s reply. “Oh, yeah? Food. Food!! Give me some food!!”

“I don’t have any. Did I hold food for you? I’m changing right now, see you later.” Suzy lied, while keep shoving the money.

“But you always make breakfast. Were you planning to run away and fell asleep?”

“A-Aniyo” Suzy stutters while grabbing some of the money that lays on the other side of the bed.The creditor, who’s at the door, heard some rustling sounds and move closer to the door. As he moves closer to the door, sounds of the money being shoved to the luggage become clearer and the creditor begin to suspect that Suzy is up to something.

“Aish, look at her.. Look at this girl, Bae Suzy” says the creditor while walking to Suzy’s mini garden that’s next to her house. He suddenly stops and look between his legs, he looks at the pot in that position and saw Suzy’s emergency key hidden under one of the pots (It’s not that well-hidden actually. -_-). He takes the key and walk to the door and shove the key to the keyhole

“Wh-What are you doing ahjussi?! I’ll report you for trespassing!” Suzy panics as she keep shoving the money.

“Game over, Bae Suzy” The creditor utters while trying to unlock the door.

While still panicking, Suzy finally finished moving the money to the luggage and zip it up. But then she realized that she left a stack of money under the bed, she tried to reached for the money but the creditor manage to unlock the door. Suzy hid the stack of money from the view and remove one of the layer of her shirt, acting as if she’s changing her clothes. The creditor barge in and shocked when he saw Suzy. And there comes the fake dolphin scream. . .

“AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! YAH!!” Suzy screams as she throws some of her pillows and dolls at the creditor.

“HEY!! YAH!!” the creditor tries to dodge anything that’s thrown to him.

“How dare you break into someone’s home?! Huh?!” says Suzy as she throw a pillow to the creditor.

“It’s my dad’s debt. *throws a book to the creditor’s leg as the creditor winced at the pain* It’s not mine! *throws two books at once*”

As Suzy was about to throw another item that she grab without looking, the creditor hastily yells out to stop her. “Hey!! It’s a frame!.”

Suzy looks at the item and she realized that she’s holding onto a picture frame of her with her dad. She looks back at the creditor and then lowers the frame.

“Wow” the creditor exclaimed, as he remove the lid and stirs the ramyeon. The creditor devours it as if he haven’t eaten for days.

“Yah, put an egg next time” the creditor complained.

Suzy retorts back, saying “Did you give me food to keep?”

 “What’s this? ‘Looking for a server’ *points to the newspaper with circled marks on it* Aish, you short-timer.. look for a good job, not these temp jobs.”

“Forget about it, how did you find the emergency key?” Suzy asks.

“Oh, that? Haha, when I was in prison for a short time, there was this guy who was super smart. The odd thing about that guy was that he always read a book upside down.”

“Eh? Was he illiterate?”

“He said that if he read a book the normal way, he’d glance right through and it’s not fun. He said he can see what he missed if he reads it upside down. Isn’ that neat? So I try it out myself. I thought to myself, where would I hide the key if I were you? Hehe. Oh yeah, that guy had this famous saying “People are complex, but that’s why they are such simple animals.”  So awesome. Isn’t that cool, huh?”

“He speaks so easily” retorts Suzy

“Forget about other people, you’re really easy to figure out.”

“Don’t make me laugh”

As the creditor continue to enjoy the ramyeon, he suddenly remember something “Ah, right. There’s a bag in your room I don’t recognize”

Suzy shot him a look and froze in her spot for a few sec, “I-It’s no-not m-mine. Someone misplaced it. Someone asked me to keep it and disappeared. ” Suzy stutters as she explain to the creditor.

“Look at you, you’re too nice” nagged the creditor

“By the way, there’re no kimchee. You have it at your balcony right?” he asked, and Suzy nodded, responding to him. As he went to the balcony to retrieve some kimchee, she sneakily went to her room to retrieve the money left under the bed. She took the money and put it inside the luggage and quietly drag it outside her room while the creditor is eating her kimchee at the balcony.

“Hey, why did you bring that luggage with you? You didn’t even report it as lost & found.”

“Well, I had to work. I have to go work now.”

“What’s inside the luggage?”

“Not sure”

The creditor sense something strange and look at her way and ask (in a creepy way) “Is it money?” and Suzy immediately froze in her spot.

Finally! I made this chapter in my school anyway (enjoying my school's free wifi, lol)

I might be in a slight hiatus tho, exams are around the corner but i'll try to update as soon as i can.
