Character Profile:

Kim Taeyeon

As a child she always felt 'emotionally separated' from the rest of humanity. She claims to have no feelings or conscience and that all of her emotional responses are part of a well-rehearsed act to conceal her true nature, some of this changed when she met Tiffany. She grew up in an orphanage and was adopted by a criminal psychologist who taught her everything he knew and helped her with her dark secret. Her father dies just before Taeyeon decides to go to college and become a psychologist herself. Since her fathers death, Taeyeon's only family is her sister, Seo Joo Hyun but they lost contact after Taeyeon left for college 4 years ago.
Taeyeon became a professor in psychology at early age. She is extremely bright, but she always had difficulties sympathizing with others.
This was suspected to be due to an injury to her frontal lobe as a child.
She used to be a counselor but an accident happened and the older sister of one of her former colleagues, friend and best confidant Choi Sooyoung died, so now she works as a bartender. Later she becomes the owner of the bar.

Foreword

My name is Kim Taeyeon. I don't know what made me the way I am, but whatever it was left an emptiness inside. People fake a lot of human interactions, but I feel like I've faked them all and I fake them very well. And that's my burden, I guess. I've been living like this for such a long time now that I've forgotten how my real nature was. But then she appeared and changed it all, all of me.
But they took her...and now, they'd feel my wrath, I'd been able to keep it at bay, but apparently only for so long...

I can resist everything, except temptation.
And this was tempting me...
Some parts of ourselves should stay hidden...

2 years earlier

She had been working here for a while, as a bartender, it was peaceful and she still got to work her father's trade. Listening to people's problems.
Yes, Kim Taeyeon hadn't always worked as a bartender. In fact she had been a bartender for three months now.
Before Taeyeon was a Counselor at the university, but an accident happened and she was forced to leave. Her old colleague's sister was killed in this accident.
Choi Sooyoung. A tall woman with short brown hair, and in fact, here she was, sitting in front of her mixing the martini inside her glass with the olive in the toothpick, looking down on her glass. They had been like this for about 30 minutes, they didn't speak but both of them had a small smile on their faces.
People around them only stared. Because they found it weird. Suddenly Sooyoung looked up at Taeyeon who was still cleaning the glasses with a rag, that small smile suddenly diminished. Sooyoung tapped her handphone.

"That's, a new record" Sooyoung said.

"For what?" Taeyeon asked.

"How long Kim Taeyeon can keep a smile on her face" Sooyoung said jokingly.

"Why are you here?" Taeyeon asked.

"And here I thought we had some spiritual understanding" Sooyoung said as she smiled.

Taeyeon let out a small laugh.

"No, we don't" Taeyeon said.

"A laugh?" Sooyoung suddenly asked.

"A laugh" Taeyeon answered with a smile.

"I didn't expect that"

"You didn't?"

"No, I didn't" Sooyoung said.

"Good, it's improvement" Taeyeon said as she smiled.

"I guess it is" Sooyoung said.

They returned to their speecheless mood and when the bar was empty, Taeyeon walked to the door and changed the sign to closed.
She returned back to the counter and started cleaning it, she poured one last drink for Sooyoung and bent over the counter. Looking at Sooyoung.
Her face went expressionless.

"That was tiring"

"I know" Sooyoung said.

"Emotions are so tiring, why do you have them?" Taeyeon asked expressionless.

"Because..." Sooyoung was about to say when suddenly someone knocked on the door. Taeyeon walked over and opened it.

"It's closed" Taeyeon said.

"Please, just one drink, I really just need one drink" The girl said, with her long black hair, she was gasping for air and looked like she had been running.

"Are you okay?"  Taeyeon asked, trying to look concerned. But it felt different with her, Taeyeon was...really concerned?

Taeyeon helped the girl inside the bar and closed the door behind her, she sat on one of the high chairs beside Sooyoung.

"Vodka" She said.

Taeyeon poured her a drink and she gulped it straight down.

"Again"

Taeyeon did as told.
Taeyeon stared at her for a while, she looked, different, she was beautiful. Sooyoung caught onto her. She was smiling as she got up and walked behind the counter.

"That's why we have emotions" She whispered as she then walked away.

"I'll see you tomorrow" She said as she left.

Taeyeon returned to her customer.

"Are you okay miss?" Taeyeon said.

"Huh, yeah" She said as she nodded lightly.

"Because, you don't really look okay" Taeyeon said. Taeyeon could see through her expressions and demeanor, she was worried about something. She was hiding something, from her.

"I am okay" She said straightforwardly.

Taeyeon didn't want to fall on her bad side, so she didn't ask about it anymore.

"What's your name?" Taeyeon asked, with a genuine smile. She still remembers that, it was the first time she "really" smiled.

"Tiffany, Hwang Tiffany" She said.

"Tiffany eh?" Taeyeon let out.

"My name is Hwang Mi Young" She suddenly said.

"Oh, okay, I thought it was Tiffany" Taeyeon said with a smirk.

She looked at Taeyeon, She looked back at her and they suddenly burst out laughing.
That night was just magical, they talked and talked, about everything and nothing.
She was just so funny and amazing. Taeyeon remembers she slept at the bar that night...
Tiffany would continue to come to the bar, that whole month and their relationship flourished.
Until one day, she saw her leave in a black car. And that was the last time she'd see Tiffany...for a while.

It wasn't until a year later that she would come back to the bar. Taeyeon was talking to Sooyoung when she suddenly sat down and let out the sweet words from her lips.

"Vodka"

She could recognize that voice anyday, She could melt because of it, anytime...
They both smiled. Sooyoung looked at Taeyeon and smiled, she left the bar.
And that's how it started...their beautiful and sweet relationship. Taeyeon never asked her questions, about her past, because she didn't feel like it was important, after all...
We all have a dark side.

Present Time

Taeyeon was feeling, excited?
Happy?
Well she was most certainly looking forward to this day.
She smiled as she looked at her watch. She was driving to Tiffany's family house.
Today was a big day. Taeyeon would meet Tiffany's parent's and her siblings.
Turns out, Tiffany, was really her name. Her parents were from the US and they had moved here recently. Her siblings were flying over to be here.
Taeyeon somehow was thankful for Tiffany's parents being from the US, somehow they didn't see their relationship as strange. At least from what Tiffany said.
Taeyeon was driving with a smile on her face. It would still be a while until she got to their house.
She couldn't wait for it.

Tiffany was sitting in front of the vanity in her room, she looked at the mirror, she had a sweet fool's smile on her face. She really felt happy.
Taeyeon was coming over, she had sent her a message, her family was all here. Today was such a great day. Suddenly her phone vibrated.
She thought it was Taeyeon sending a message and she unlocked it with no worries...
As she did look at that screen, her heart sank. She was distraught by what she saw, her smile immediately turning into a frown.
She looked at the phone closely as if not believing what was written. Suddenly the phone rang.

"Kim Taeyeon" It read.

Taeyeon was calling. She rejected the call. She opened that message again.

Taeyeon frowned as Tiffany didn't pick up.

"The number you're trying to reach is unavailable"

Taeyeon looked at the phone and turned her head sideways. Was something wrong?
She blinked a couple times before pushing it aside, thinking maybe she was busy putting on make up.

Tiffany looked at that phone.

"Yunho" Was the only word written in that message. Tiffany felt a sudden fear take over her. Was this possible...was he really back?

Why was he back? How did he get out?
Why was this message on her phone...Tiffany pressed the delete, multiple times. Her hands started shaking and tears were falling from her eyes.
She felt scared, she sat on her bed and hugged her knees. Her mother suddenly knocked on the door.

"Honey, Taeyeon is here" She said.

Tiffany opened her eyes, already? She must've lost track of time because of that stupid message. She opened the door and saw Taeyeon, she pulled her inside.
Taeyeon was finishing introducing herself to Tiffany's family when she was suddenly pulled by the back of her jacket into her room. The door was closed.

"I guess, they need some time alone" Her brother said.

"C'mon, let's leave them be" Her sister said.

"The family returned to the living room. Tiffany suddenly looked at Taeyeon, her eyes wide opened. Taeyeon felt something was wrong.

"Are you okay?" Taeyeon asked.

"Yes" She answered.

"So this is your room, I kinda like our room at our house better" Taeyeon said.

"Yeah, me too" She said as she hugged Taeyeon from behind.

"I love you" She said.

Something inside of Taeyeon tweaked.
Taeyeon rolled her lips.

"I love you too" Taeyeon said as she turned around and planted a peck on her lips.

She looked at Taeyeon.
Taeyeon could see that she was nervous, she peered at her for a moment before she put a hand over Taeyeon's eyes.

"I told you not do that" She said.

Taeyeon smiled.

"What?" Taeyeon said, pretending to be ignorant.

"Don't analyze me, don't look at me like that" She said.

Tiffany knew of her previous job occupation.

"Okay, I won't"

"I'm not one of your patients, I'm your fiancée" She said.

"You are?" Taeyeon said with a smile.

"I am" Tiffany said as she slapped her arm.

Taeyeon rubbed it pretending to be in pain.

"C'mon, let's go see your family" Taeyeon said as she grabbed her hand.

They went to the living room, she sat beside Taeyeon and they just talked with her family, they laughed at her brother's jokes and her sister's stories about college were just so amusing, her father tried to arm wrestle Taeyeon, but lost. Taeyeon had a supernatural strenght that soon her brother also knew.
Tiffany and her mom laughed at the losing men. Tiffany suddenly lost her smile. Taeyeon put a hand on her shoulder.
She looked at her, Tiffany nodded with a smile as if to tell her everything was alright.
They sat on the dining table and they had lunch.  Taeyeon finished first and went to her future mother and father in law, she bowed new year style.

"Will you allow your daughter to marry me?" She said.

Her father picked Taeyeon up.

"You wouldn't even have to ask" He said.

"You're already part of the family" Her mother said.

Taeyeon suddenly started tearing up. She put her index under her eye.

"What's this?" She asked genuinely.

"Those are tears, baby" Tiffany said as she hugged her and smiled.

She sometimes wonders how Tiffany never noticed she was such a weird person. These questions she asks.
But Tiffany never made one question about it...
And Taeyeon was okay with that.

The ride back to their apartment was silent, Tiffany's hand was intertwined with Taeyeon's who was driving home with a smile on her face.
With Tiffany, she just felt so...human.

They got inside their apartment. It was big and modern. There were pictures of Tiffany, and of Tiffany with Taeyeon.
But still most of the pictures were just Tiffany. There was one they took when they went to a date in the park.
Tiffany in white lace dress and Taeyeon in a black dress she had an arm around her shoulders, so innocently.
Suddenly, someone knocked. Taeyeon went to open the door.

"Yes?"

"Oh, I need to deliver this package, to miss Hwang" It was a man, late 20's he looked over Taeyeon's shoulder as if peering inside the house.

"I can sign" Taeyeon said reluctantly. She looked at his uniform. He looked awkward in it. But she pushed it aside.

"Oh, no, really, this has to be delivered to her" He said.

Taeyeon looked at him and frowned.

"Tiffany, there's a package for you" Taeyeon said as she walked back to the living room.

"A package?" Tiffany said.

"Yeah" Taeyeon said as she looked closely at Tiffany's expression, she wasn't waiting for anything huh...

Tiffany walked to the door. Her heart sank when she saw the man at the door. Taeyeon leaned against the wall by the end of the corridor looking at their conversation from afar. She couldn't hear what they were saying but she could still see their behaviour.
And seeing behaviour was what she used to do for a living.

Tiffany covered the man with her back.

"What are you doing here!" She said.

"He's back, he wants to see you" He said.

"No, just, tell him I died" Tiffany said.

"You know it's not that simple" He said.

"He said you should grab onto this, and that if you won't come, then shortie over there will get it" He said as he signaled towards Taeyeon with his head.

He gave Tiffany a phone.
Tiffany's legs were shaking, Taeyeon could see that, she walked back towards them.

"Ah thank you, but that's a different miss Hwang" Tiffany said, trying to sound normal.

Taeyeon knew she was lying.
Tiffany closed the door. She put the phone in her back pocket.

"Are you okay?" Taeyeon asked.

"Stop asking if I'm okay...I'm okay" Tiffany said.

"I need to leave for a while" Tiffany said.

Tiffany put the phone the man gave her on top of the table beside the door.
Taeyeon didn't notice.

"Okay, will you be back late?" Taeyeon asked.

"No, bring me some of that chicken I like" Tiffany said.

Tiffany grabbed her keys and left the apartment.
Taeyeon frowned as she closed the door.
Something, was definitely wrong...
But, she wasn't sure if she should follow her.
Sooyoung said that in a relationship you have to trust your partner, so she decided to do it...she wasn't going to follow her.
Everyone has secrets...and she was letting Tiffany keep hers just as she kept her own.

Taeyeon grabbed her phone and called Sooyoung.

"I'm coming over" Taeyeon said.

"Okay, I don't have anyone scheduled anyways" Sooyoung answered.

"Is everything alright?" Sooyoung asked.

"Just...trusting my partner" Taeyeon said as she sighed.

"Hum, okay" Sooyoung said.

Taeyeon left the apartment, she went to the garage, she saw tire marks on the floor but she didn't really pay much attention, there was always that crazy neighbour with the imported sports car. She went inside her car and drove away.

Sooyoung was sitting inside her office when suddenly someone barged in.

"Hey" Taeyeon said.

"Hello" Sooyoung said.

"Something troubling your mind?" Sooyoung asked.

"Not troubling, just...it's there" Taeyeon said.

"What is it?"

"It's Tiffany, since earlier today, she's been acting really weird" Taeyeon said.

"Hum, well, maybe something is troubling her, you asked?" Sooyoung let out.

"I did"

"What did she say?"

"That's she's alright"

"Then she's alright"

"Sometimes..."

"I just have to trust people, I know, I know" Taeyeon said.

"But, I can't trust them too much" Taeyeon said as she grabbed a picture on Sooyoung's desk, it was Sooyoung with another girl, she looked older.

"It wasn't your fault" Sooyoung said as she took the picture off from Taeyeon's hands and put it back.

"I know, you've said that" Taeyeon said expressionless.

"I can't feel fault..." Taeyeon said.

"How've you been feeling?" Sooyoung asked.

"Feeling? Okay,I guess I've been doing great, thanks to Tiffany" Taeyeon said.

"Really?"

"Really..." Taeyeon said.

"Well, then I'm glad I don't really have to write on this" Sooyoung said as she put the red file on top of her desk back into her drawer and locked it.

"How long has it been?"

"About 2 years, since you helped Sooyeon and met Tiffany" Sooyoung said.

"I wonder where she is?" Taeyeon asked.

"Who? Sooyeon?"

"Yes" Taeyeon said as she looked through the window.

Meanwhile in another part of the city.
A door opens and a man comes inside a dark office, a woman is standing on the other side of the desk by the window looking out into the city.

"Jessica" He said.

"The boss wants to see you"

"Tell him I'll be there" Jessica said.

The man put the phone in his hand back to his ear.

"Yes, she'll be there, yes" He said.

Jessica grabbed the car keys on top of her desk and walked out of the office.

"Keep watch" She said to the man before leaving.

She drove to a mansion in the hills. She went through the gates and stopped in front of the fountain, she got out of the car, two men came to accompany her inside. As they walked her to the massive library, she could ear someone talking, it was him, she could recognize that hateful voice anyday.

"Now, I want you to take her and make her disappear! She'll pay for what she did to me 2 years ago!" He screamed.

"I don't care where you take her just make that woman disappear for good!" He said as he threw the phone against the wall. The phone shattering.

Tall with brown hair and fierce eyes. This was Jessica's boss...unfortunately. The great "U-Know" Yunho

"Boss" One of the men said.

He didn't hear and just kept pacing around.

"Boss" The other man said.

"Yes! What?! What?!" He exploded.

"Jessica is here"

He suddenly stopped and turned around. He looked at her and signaled her to step closer.

"You two, out" He said.

He sat down on his desk, Jessica was standing in front of it.
He looked at her for a while, he was glaring at her.
She knew that she probably had crossed the line again, he had that face.

"Do you know what you did?" He asked.

"I do?" She asked.

"Don't play dumb with me!" He screamed as he threw the glass on his desk at her, she dodged, the glass hit the wall and a shard still cut her cheek, a bit under her right eye.

"You dodged? Did I ing give you permission to dodge?!" He asked.

"No boss" She said.

"Good, then you won't ing dodge! Just like you'll only sell the ing drugs, where I tell you to sell the ing drugs"

"Isn't this mine? He asked as he grabbed a pen.

"Isn't all of this mine?" He asked as he waved his arms around.

"Yes Boss"

"Then ing do what I say, because I own you Jessica Jung, you're just a small part of a very big machine, and believe me when I say that small parts can be replaced. I want good work this next week" He said as he signaled her to leave.

Jessica left his office, she went to the bathroom, she splashed water on her face, she squeezed her fist, as she looked at her face.

"Aish!" She let out.

She left the mansion and went back to her office.
She put a band aid on her cut. She opened her desk drawer and took out a phone. She pressed 1 in speed dial.

"Meet me at the usual place" She said.

At the main police central downtown. A young woman with black hair and tanned skin stepped inside a room.
She was signaled to sit by an older woman with brown hair and cat like slanted eyes that was sitting in an armchair.

"I'm glad you're here" The woman said.

The woman is Lee Hyori the police comissioner.
And the young woman is Kwon Yuri.

"I'm glad I didn't have to fight too much with your sister to have you back" Hyori said.

"I'm glad too, Bo Ah can be..."

"Stubborn" Hyori said.

"I know her well"

"I'm glad to be here but, what am I doing here" Yuri said.

"Him" Hyori said.

"Oh, Taecyeon" Yuri said.

Hyori looked down.

"He was killed, he was working undercover while trying to catch onto Yunho's operations"

"Yunho? I thought he was arrested a couple of years ago"

"You know the drill, even from prison, he was still pulling strings, and now he's out, on parole but I know for sure that he will resume his operations"

"So, what can I do?"

"I've lost too many good cops, I'm creating a special investigation unit, and you're the leader, you have a clean slate"

"Clean slate?"

"As long as you get them, you can do anything, just put them behind bars, bring me Yunho!" Hyori said.

"I'll be backing you up" Hyori said as she got up and put a hand on her shoulder.

"I have to leave now, I will see you later" Hyori said.

Yuri came out of the room and a beautiful girl with short blonde hair was waiting for her.
Hyoyeon was her name and she was Yuri's girlfriend, they have been dating for about 3 years.

"What did she say?"

"I guess we'll be seeing each other a lot more" Yuri said.

"Eh, really?!"

"Are you that happy?" Yuri said.

"Yes"

"Even if I'm your boss?"

Hyoyeon looked at her and opened her eyes.
Yuri let out a laugh at Hyoyeon's face.

"Oh yes missy, I'm your boss" Yuri said as she put arm around Hyoyeon's neck and kissed her cheek.

"Eish!" Hyoyeon let out.

"C'mon, let's go get some dinner miss Kim"

"Wait, let me just finish something"

Taeyeon opens the door to her apartment, a plastic bag in her hand.

"Tiffany!" She calls but no one answers. She frowns.

"I brought that chicken you asked"

Taeyeon noticed that the lights were all out, she turned them on, she checked every room.
Nothing...
There was no one.
She grabbed her phone and called her.

"The number you're trying to reach is not available"

Taeyeon pressed redial, and after 10 or 20 tries she stopped.
She sighed. Where was she? Okay, okay, like Sooyoung said.
Trust, trust Taeyeon. Suddenly her phone rang.
She picked it up.

"Taeyeon?"

It was Tiffany's sister.

"Yes"

"Is Tiffany home? She was supposed to come here to get some food because mom wanted you to try somethings she made, but she never showed"

"Oh, she...got caught up with something at the call center" Taeyeon said.

"The call center?"

"Yeah, someone called her about something important" Taeyeon said.

"Hum, okay, just tell her to come by tomorrow"

"Sure, I will" Taeyeon said as she walked towards the window.

Where is Tiffany?
Taeyeon squeezed her fist hard.
Okay...go to the police. That's what Sooyoung would tell her. To the police.

"Don't let the secret handle it, you can handle it. Just like dad said"
"The secret didn't have to handle it, you could handle it"

She grabbed her keys and went to the main police central downtown.
Taeyeon parked her car and got out she walked with quick steps to the stairs, she got up and as she was going inside the building she bumped into someone.
It was Yuri and Hyoyeon.

"I'm sorry" She said.

"Oh, it's okay" Yuri said as she noticed the look of Taeyeon.

Taeyeon bowed slightly and went inside the building.

"What do you think happened to her?" Hyoyeon asked.

"I don't know...but she had this look..." Yuri said.

"C'mon, I'm sure she'll be alright" Hyoyeon said.

Taeyeon walks past a short girl with brown hair who stares at her for a while before going her way.
Taeyeon goes through a glass door. Missing person's. She went to one of the desks.

"I need to report someone"

"Hum, okay" The officer said. He looked, unwillingly to help her and even made it seem as if he was doing her a favor.

"How long since the person is missing and what is your relationship with the person?" He asked with an ill intended tone.

She rolled her lips.

"It's been..." She looked at her watch.

"About 6 hours" She said.

"The person is my fiancée" She said.

"6 hours and...wait, did you just say fiancée?" He said.

Taeyeon growled inside.

"Look, I just want you to report it"

"It has to be at least more than 24 hours from the disappearance and..."

"And you're an homophobe, I get it" She said.

"Wait, what?"

"Ah, it, you can't help me" Taeyeon let out.

"Wait right there you lady, are you making fun of me, who the hell do you think you are?!" He said.

Taeyeon was about to turn her back and leave when someone suddenly put a hand on her shoulder.

"Wait" A woman's voice said.

It was that short girl from before.

"Look, if your fiancée is missing you should first try her friends, her family" She said.

Taeyeon sighed internally. She looked at the card hanging on her chest. Lee Sunkyu.

"You can't help me" Taeyeon said.

"In a few hours more, I'll be able to" She said.

"Just go home and wait" She said.

Taeyeon looked down, she squeezed her fist again.

"Okay" She let out.

Taeyeon left the police department.

"Who was that?" A young woman said as she came up behind Sunkyu.

"Her fiancée is gone, apparently..."

"Ah, you know those cases, it's just..."

"Bad" Sunkyu said.

"I'm just saying..."

"Then don't say it"

"Don't say it! Sometimes, it's nothing like that" Sunkyu said.

Taeyeon went to her apartment. She sat down on the couch. She just stared into nothingness. Not moving nor showing any expression.
Where was Tiffany?

"Don't let the secret handle it, Don't let the secret handle it"

"You can handle it"

It was morning, 2 hours until the 24 hours were up. Taeyeon got up and walked to the bathroom, she hadn't moved a single inch, all night, she was playing all places where Tiffany could be, but nothing came to mind. She knew she wasn't with her family and apart from Sooyoung, Tiffany didn't have any friends she knew of.
She decided to go to the call center today. Maybe they'd know something.
Taeyeon also looked around the house. She searched through drawers and clothes.
As she put a hand inside one of Tiffany's blazers she found a card with an adress. A black card.

"Kim Mu Jin, Photographer 0300-XXXX-XXXX"

Taeyeon put it in her pocket and didn't mind it that much, could've been something she got in the street.
It was time, Taeyeon was leaving the apartment when by the table next to the front door she found...Tiffany's phone?
Wait, no, this wasn't her phone.
Whose phone was this? She also put it in her pocket.
She left the apartment.
She drove to the call center. There she called Sulli, Tiffany's co-worker.

"Oh, Miss Taeyeon" She said.

"Is everything alright with Tiffany?"

"Has Tiffany been here?" Taeyeon asked.

"Not since she went with you to meet her parents...I found it weird when she didn't came to work this morning, is everything alright?"

"It is" Taeyeon lied.

She walked quickly and got inside her car. She drove to the police station.

"You said 24 hours" She said as she stood in front of the officer from before.

"Here, just fill this" He said as he gave her a form.

She grabbed it and a pen and sat down, she started filling it.
She finished it in a matter of mere seconds.

"Here" She said.

"Wait, are you sure you did this right?" He asked.

He looked at it, everything was filled and her caligraphy looked perfect.
He looked at her.
Taeyeon got up and left. She had to see Sooyoung. Right away.

"Okay...we'll start the search for this...Hwang Mi Young, Tiffany" He said.

"Not! This girl probably just left her for another girl or another guy, or she just ran away, they tend to do that" He said.

Suddenly something struck the back of his head hard and he almost was knocked unconscious.

"Let me see that!" Sunny said as she grabbed the form.

"Tiffany Hwang...is missing"

"What's up boss?" The younger girl from before asked.

"Seohyun, here's our new job"

"But I thought we were joining the special team"

"In between that, we'll be doing this"

Sunny said as she gave the form to Seohyun.

"Okay, wait...Kim Taeyeon? Am I reading this right?"

"Hum? Yes, why?"

"My sister!" Seohyun ran out of the office and outside she saw Taeyeon get inside a car and leave.

"Aish"

She went back inside.

"Boss, we gotta start on this right away"

"Okay, okay, calm your horses now" Sunny said.

Taeyeon drove as fast as she could to Sooyoung's office. She barged in.
Luckily there was no patient at that time.
She sat in front of Sooyoung who was just finishing some documents.

"Tiffany disappeared" Taeyeon said.

"What?" Sooyoung suddenly said.

"Are you sure? I mean, she could've just-" Sooyoung was saying but Taeyeon cut her off.

"I checked, okay? I did the trust part, I went to the police, I keep telling myself that I won't let it handle it, that I'll do it" Taeyeon said.

"That's right, if you went to the police then you just have to wait now"

"No! No! I want to grab whoever did this and...and"

"And kill them?" Sooyoung said.

Taeyeon looked at Sooyoung.

"It's coming back"

Sooyoung opened her drawer. She took out the red file.

"Just...tell me I won't be needing this"

"If the police can't find her...you will" Taeyeon said as she walked towards the window.

She stared at the city.
"Where are you Tiffany?"

Tiffany was inside a big dark room, unpainted walls, her eyes were blindfolded, and she could hear other women. was also covered.
She couldn't speak. What was this? Where was this?
That Yunho...
Why did he come back...
Why now, when she was so happy.
"Taeyeon...find me"

Sunny sat on her desk and opened a drawer she pulled out a file, Tiffany Hwang.

"What did he do to you...?" She said.

"Who did what to her?" Yuri said as she walked behind Sunny, noticing the name in the file.

"Oh, it's nothing" Sunny said as she covered the file again and put it back.

"If they can't find her, I'm gonna find her myself" Taeyeon said.

"And what if someone doesn't want her to be found, what if..." Sooyoung said.

"What if she doesn't want to be found" Sooyoung said as she looked at the picture of her and her sister.

"I'll stop whoever stands in my way"

"You mean you'll kill them"

"Yes" Taeyeon said with no expression.

"I will" She said in monotone.
