Slowly walking out of the room, he let the door swing closed behind him as you turned your head and saw him at the other exit door, walking over to him, you smiled as his eyes lifted as you approached tucking a folder underneath his arm.

“I have to do some things in closing of the deal, so I will meet you tonight for our dinner?” You question letting your hands play with your phone a little.

“That sounds good, I have some other things to attend to as well” Sunggyu smiled and bowed, “See you at seven.”

“See you at seven~” You smiled and turned around on your heels before walking down the hallway heading back up to your office.

Busying yourself with signing documents and paperwork, your mind slowly wondered to Sunggyu as your eyes lifted up and turned over to your side as you sighed seeing his chair empty. Your chest tightened slightly as you knew that his internship was over and you couldn’t change it no matter what your position was.

Grabbing your phone, you pulled up his number, your thumbs paused a moment as your eyes stared at his name lining the top of his screen. Taking a deep breath, your thumbs started to quickly type against the screen, sending your message to him, you set your phone aside and tapped the of your pen against the papers you were working on as you waited for his reply. Glancing at your phone, you read and reread your text that stayed alive on your screen.

Do you think we could move up the dinner to a lunch? I have something that came up later…

Well I had everything set up for dinner but if something came up I can see if I can move it up – S

Biting your lip, you read your messages between him for a moment before you silently talked yourself out of it.

Dinner will work, I will just move some things around~

Thinking about it for a moment or two, you knew that you were nervous about going on a date but that doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun. Finishing up on your paperwork, you then went into your office and changed into a little black dress with sparkle accents. It was fancier than you normally wear to the office but you figured it was okay to dress up a little bit and to try something different.

Fixing your hair in a mirror that hung on your wall, you took in a few deep breaths seeing that it was a little before seven now. Placing your phone in your purse, you lifted your black purse onto your shoulder and paced a little around your office in an attempt to work off your nerves for the date tonight.

“Knock, knock” a voice came from the door as it was opened just slightly. Spinning around, you smiled seeing Hoya’s head poked through the door and the wall.

“What are you doing here?” You questioned walking over to him as he opened the door a little wider to step inside of your office.

“I had to see who would take my baby sister on a date” Hoya smiled slipping his hands into his pockets.

“You just won’t let that go, you are a minute older than me” You laughed pushing his shoulder a little

“Yah that minute makes a world of difference” Hoya laughed back, his eyes slowly scanned your outfit as he smiled genuinely at you. “You look really beautiful though, he must be someone special.”

“Just a good friend” You smile, dropping your head slightly before the door opened to Sunggyu.

“Wow _____ you look wonderful” Sunggyu’s jaw dropped open a little more, his eyes falling on only you. Hoya gently cleared his throat, Sunggyu’s brown eyes flickered over to Hoya as he blushed a little and dropped his eyes.

“Good to see you, Sunggyu” Hoya smiled and bowed to his friend, “What are you doing here though?”

“I am taking _____ out tonight” Sunggyu leaned over closer to Hoya, “Just like you told me to.”

“I didn’t think that you would be asking out my twin sister though” Hoya started to get a little protective, stepping in front of you as a father would.

“Hoya be nice” You whispered holding him back a little with your arms looped around one of his. “We are just going out to dinner and he will take me home.”

“Alright” Hoya’s tone got soft as he turned towards you, handing him your keys to your car you smiled and move from his side to Sunggyu’s.

“I’ll have her home before midnight for sure” Sunggyu promised as you nodded your head convincing Hoya slowly.

“Alright, I’ll stay up until you get home” Hoya smiled nervously a little as you nodded. Silence filled the space between the three of you causing the awkwardness to increase slowly with each passing moment.

“Ready to go?” Sunggyu broke the silent awkwardness, his hand gently resting against your back as you nodded.

“Have her home before midnight” Hoya called with a playful tone in his voice.

“I will, Dad” Sunggyu teased easing the tension in the air slightly letting the door swing closed allowing the two of you to head down the hallway to the lobby.

“Sorry about Hoya, he can be a little protective” You told Sunggyu while entering the lobby.

“That is okay, he would have said that to anyone I take out, I just didn’t tell him it was you so he must have been a little surprised” Sunggyu reasoned with a nod of your head.

Holding the lobby door open for you, he lead you out into the parking lot allowing the sun to kiss your exposed skin lovingly. Walking across the black top of the parking lot, Sunggyu lead you to his white sport car, clicking the button on his keys, he unlocked the car from afar before opening the passenger door for you.

“Thank you” You blushed a little allowing your eyes to meet his for a moment.

“You are most welcome” He smiled while watching you slip into the passenger seat. Closing the door after you were in safely, he rounded the hood then opened the door to the drivers’ side and slipping into his seat.

Your eyes roamed around the interior of his car admiring the beautiful leather along with the stainless steel and the light wood that outfitted the curves of the breathtaking cabin.

“You have a beautiful car” You remarked, your eyes still rolling over each contour of the dash to the leather stitching on the door.

“Thank you, it was a little bit of money but I think it was well worth it” Sunggyu started the car with the twist of his key allowing the engine to purr sweetly.

“It sure was” You nodded slowly moving your eyes from the car’s interior to his hand securely on the stick shift then his other hand resting on the top of the steering wheel.

Shifting the car into drive, he slowly pulled out of the parking lot and into traffic. Looking out your window you watched everyone’s heads turn while Sunggyu safely drove the city streets to the restaurant he reserved for the two of you.

“Have you had this car for long?” You questioned rubbing your thumb over the smooth leather on the door armrest.

“Just a month or two” He shrugged his shoulders lightly as you nodded along your lips slowly as the car ride was quieter than either one of you would have liked. Leaning over, Sunggyu flipped on the radio as a song came on that Sunggyu knew. Softly whistling to the song, the whistle turned into a hum then a soft song as he couldn’t help but sway his head from side to side.

Watching him out of the corner of your eyes, you smiled and watched him while picking up the melody to the song. Humming softly to the melody and chorus, you two finished off the song strongly giggling lightly as a song neither one of you knew started to play.

“I haven’t heard you sing before” Sunggyu confessed, glancing over at you before returning his eyes to the road.

“I haven’t heard you either, but you sing wonderfully” You complimented starting to feel your heart beat a little faster while a warmth started to radiate from your chest to your cheeks.

“Thank you, you sing really well too” He smiled as a little chuckle slipped from his pink lips a little feeling blush creep up onto his cheeks. “Well… here we are”

Pulling into an open parking space, Sunggyu got out and walked around the back of the car to your door. Fixing his suit coat a little, he buttoned it before pulling the door handle and opening your door, offering his hand to you, you slipped your hand into his and stepped out of his car.

“Didn’t this place just open up four months ago and has been booked up ever since?” You questioned holding your hand bag against your side as Sunggyu closed the door and kept holding your hand as the two of you slowly made your way to the front doors.

“Yep this is the place” Sunggyu beamed proudly as your hand slowly wrapped around his a little more feeling like he wasn’t going to let go anytime soon.

“How did you get a reservation then?” Your eyes scaled the tall building as a beautiful dim light welcomed you into the classy lobby.

“I booked it a few months ago” He shyly confessed before giving his name to the worker standing behind a podium confirming his reservation.

“Did you ask someone else out and I was your second choice?” You lightly teased knowing that it has happened before to you on more than one occasion.

“You were my first choice” Sunggyu reassured before the two of you were lead to a secluded part of the restaurant.

Large windows lined the perimeter of your booth, framing the skyline of the city perfectly as three candles burned in the middle of the table. Your lips parted a little in awe at the simple yet elegant table, glancing at Sunggyu, he allowed you to sit in the booth first before he slid in after you.

The waitress placed a single menu in front of the two of you before she left to get some water glasses for the two of you.

“Order anything you want, tonight is on me” Sunggyu ed his jacket a little and leaned back into the booth.

“You sure? Everything here is really expensive” You mumbled towards the end

“I am sure” Sunggyu nodded, holding up one side of the menu as his eyes looked around at all of the options while the waitress placed the water glasses down, turning around giving you two a few more minutes, you turned the page and decided on a meal.

“Can I take your order now?” The waitress questioned, Sunggyu let you go first as you rattled off what you would like, adding his order after yours the waitress bowed then proceeded to place your order in the kitchen.

Silence filled between the two of you slowly, glancing over at him, then him over at you. Clearing his throat a little, he pulled at his tie a little before returning his hand back in his lap with his other one.

“So, do you have any more projects lined up?” Sunggyu tried to break the ice with a business question.

“Not that I know of, I usually get a few days break while they make the deal then I get another one” You explained while he nodded along. “Since your residency is over, what are you going to do next?”

“Well I have a few things to think about before I head back home but I will continue looking for work, I haven’t found the right company to work for yet” Sunggyu replied kindly as his mind turned to the offer he received from the company he worked for.

“Do you have any offers?” You lifted your water glass to your lips and sipped it slightly

“I have one or two but I am still thinking them over” Sunggyu played with his own fingers slowly.

“Take your time, the right offer will come along” You lift up your hand and pat his arm gently but soothingly, opening up to him a little.

The two of you talked for a little bit as the food arrived and gently placed in front of you, thanking the waitress, you picked up your fork and laid the napkin across your lap. Picking up a modest bite of food, you slipped it between your lips as you smiled and hummed at the taste.

“Is it good?” He asks slipping a bite into his mouth too.

“Very good~” You sing with a bright smile, “Is yours good?”

“It’s perfect” He smiled slipping in another bite.

The two of you went silent while both of you ate for a while, emptying your plates slowly, your drinks slowly lowered in the fancy glasses as the sunlight slowly dipped behind the buildings creating a wonderful sunset that both of you admired until the sky grew dark highlighting the stars more and more.

Time grew on as the plates were cleaned and the two of you were laughing and smiling more as time continued to tick on.

“Can I interest you two in a dessert for tonight?” The waitress questioned looking between the two of you. Nodding your head, Sunggyu and you chose a dessert and ordered it.

A few minutes later, she placed the dessert in front of you with two spoons for you to share the same dessert. Your cheeks lightly blushed as you took a small bite of the custard dessert as you hummed while Sunggyu took a bite after you from the opposite side of the dessert. Taking another bite or two of the crème brulee, you hit the corner of your lips as it left a little bit of the custard against your pink lips. Sunggyu’s eyes caught the little mishap and placed his spoon down before he lifted his napkin up and brushed it against the corner of your lips. Your cheeks instantly flushed a bright red as your eyes dropped down slightly.

“Thank you” You whispered a little embarrassed as Sunggyu just smiled and moved a little closer to you.

“You are welcome” He rubbed your back gently, the warmth of his hand seeped through the fabric of your dress, until his fingers gently brushed over your exposed skin. Feeling his fingers slowly drag around your skin then onto the fabric again, you bit your lip gently the pounding of your heart pushed a lump up into your throat as your feelings grew stronger for Sunggyu with every second of his touch.

Moving your hand to his side, you rubbed your hand slowly along his side as you moved a little closer to him.

“You are a very beautiful woman and an intelligent and incredible business woman as well” His voice brushed against your ear as you couldn’t help but blush more and more, feeling the tips of your ears tint a bright red. “I wanted to tell you this for a while but I haven’t gotten the chance to until now.”

“What is that?” You questioned, lifting your eyes to lock with his beautiful brown, puppy dog eyes.

“I really like you ______, more than I have liked anyone before” Sunggyu shakily confessed, a soft smile came over your lips as your hand gently rested over his shaking hands.

“Thank you, Sunggyu” You blushed more as you fell speechless after his confession.

Talking a little more, the two of you exited the restaurant and headed back out to his car. Making a simple conversation between the two of you, he drove you home while his thumb gently tapped against the leather steering wheel.

Pulling up in front of your large home, you unbuckled yourself as Sunggyu got out of his seat once more and opened the door for you.

“Thank you for taking me out on this date, it was a lot of fun” You confess walking slowly to the door with him.

“I am sorry I made things awkward with my feelings” He apologized slipping his hands into his pockets while the two of you climbed the few stairs to your front door.

“You didn’t, I am glad you told me. I’m glad you trust me that much” You told him, turning towards him once you were at your front door.

“I’m glad I told you too” Sunggyu showed you a gentle smile, before watching you unlock the door and push it open. “Have a good night ______ and sweet dreams.”

“Have a good night too” You bid him before you stepped through your front door.

“Would you like to come in?” You offered knowing the night didn’t go off as planned for him

“No thanks, I should head home. I don’t want to keep yourself up too much longer either” He sadly smiled before he bowed and turned around, heading back to his car slowly while you watched him from the doorway.
