Those who had a heart transplant have a life expectant around 20 years since the operation take place.

Choi sooyoung had undergone such operation at the age of 9. Ever since then her parents prepared themselves to one day be ready for such sad day to be happen again. For parents, the greatest sadness they could feel is when they had to bury their own child. After they bury Stephanie years ago they still didn’t forgot what it feels like.

But sooyoung proved that what their doctor said wasn’t always true, her unnie heart proved that it could gave sooyoung a life that no science could understand.

Her parents watched their only remaining daughter grown up, introducing her girlfriend to them, moving out to live together with tiffany, graduate from college, became independent after getting a stable job, married and finally adopted a girl. Throughout those 37 years of timeline, they couldn’t believe that they could watch how happy their child will be, and that is the proudest moment a parents could ever hoped for.

Sooyoung had given them such happiness…

Alas… when sooyoung reached the age of 46, her health deteriorated rapidly.

And the tall women understand… it is time to go, she had made her sister wait for long.

Tiffany had been great girlfriend, excellent wife and extraordinary mother throughout their time together. Their daughter, sulli, had grown to be a sweet and strong willed girl. For choi sooyoung, life had been good toward her and she is very thankful of it.

“hold my hand please dear” she said to tiffany whom sat beside her bed. The hospital room never change at all, the color, the layout, it is still the same. Tiffany whom still looked as beautiful as the first time sooyoung see her gave the smile that always made sooyoung heart beat faster. Her wife reached to her right hand and engulfed it with her own

“you are cold” tiffany hurriedly covering sooyoung with more blanket “better?”

Sooyoung smiled looking at her wife gesture “you know the only warmth I need is you”

“cocky” tiffany chuckled “anything you need dear?”

“no… fany-ah, everything I need already here” sooyoung eyeing her room door as it’s opened, revealing their daughter and sooyoung parents

“umma, mommy… sorry, the traffic is-“

“sssshhh, it’s okay sul” sooyoung waved her left hand to her daughter and tapped the edge of her bed “come here”

Sulli walked hurriedly and took the little space left on her umma bed, sooyoung pinched sulli cheek with her left hand which made the girl screamed “I told you, don’t cut your hair too short young miss” sooyoung said to her daughter whom now rubbing her red cheek

“but I want to have the same hairstyle like umma” sulli pouted “I hate long hair”

“baby, please listen to your umma” tiffany joined in “you know you looked pretty with your long hair”

“but soojung liked my short hair!”

“… who is soojung?” sooyoung asked, tiffany throw a glare to their daughter after finding a name they didn’t know escaped from their daughter lips

“it’s taeyeon and Jessica daughter… they didn’t tell you that their daughter have Korean name?” jim informed to her daughter. Moonyoung that stay silence the whole time now let out a giggle seeing her daughter and daughter in-law surprised face

“krystal had a Korean name?? wait a min… you and krystal???” tiffany woke from her stupor after she finding out that her daughter possibly dating her best friend daughter

“uh… yes she have mom” sulli answered plainly

“you two dating?” sooyoung asked

“ye-yes… we date in secret” sulli muttered “because you two and soojung parent’s would likely fighting if you know”

Sooyoung laughed hearing this, she never imagine that she still could see the phrase when her daughter fall in love. How life been good to her, she felt very blessed indeed

Tiffany just let a soft giggle seeing how red their daughter cheeks is “sulli, bring krystal and her parents here tomorrow… we will going to have a talk with them”

“b-but”

“no but” sooyoung stopped her daughter protest. While sulli is a strong willed girl who never back down no matter what other people told her, she never talk back to her umma. Not because she is afraid to, but it seems that she never win an argument with her and ever since she know that, she always hold her own thought down whenever her umma words came out.

“how are you dear” moonyoung finally asked her daughter whom lay on the hospital bed. It reminds her the first time she saw sooyoung like this after that terrible accident that took Stephanie
