Chapter 22
Together | Multifandom [DISCONTINUED]Where do we stand?
~~~~~~Namjoo POV~~~~~~
I had my hands running through his hair and his arms were hugging my waist. I felt my own mouth melt into his lips and I couldn't separate, I didn't want to either.
He tore apart from me with a blank expression. I opened my eyes and looked into his empty ones. Using the back of his head as a hook, I bent it down and pulled his mouth back onto mine.
I didn't want to let go.
I jumped out of his embrace when I heard a sudden ring of a phone. Chaejin stared at me in surprise and then pulled his gaze away from mine shyly.
"Oh, Youngmin-ah," he answered. "Oh! Yeah! Sorry! I'my coming! I'm only a few minutes away."
He hung up and looked to me.
"U-Uhm... I have to g-go," he said and took a step backward.
"O-Okay," I nodded and he turned around and ran away.
I was left staring into the darkness, only illuminated by the weak lampost.
I had mixed emotions about what had just happened, but I know that I realised that I really did like him after that.
I pulled my phone out and called Seolhyun.
"Namjoo-yah!" she answered.
"Where are you?"
"At the boys' house," she replied.
I swear she's always over there. But it's okay because I used to be like that too, the boys' home was mine too.
"Do you think you could come out and talk with me for a while?" I asked.
"Of course, where do you wanna meet?"
"At your special place?"
"Oh yeah!" her voice sounded excited. "I'll see you there!"
I opened the door to see Seolhyun staring out at the city lights. They were beautiful tonight, just like any other night. The pitch black sky contrasted with the bright yellow and green lights of the buildings in the distance.
"Seolhyun-ah," I said and sat next to her.
"What is it that you wanted to talk about?"
"Chaejinnie," I said without hesitating.
"Oh! Chaejinnie?" she asked, dispprovingly.
"Oh, I think I like him," I said slowly. I knew that she didn't like him, because she had seen what he was like when he got angry.
"Namjoo-yah," she sighed and took my hand in hers.
"Stop. Okay. Before you say anything, he's not like that anymore, okay? I think I can actually help him get better, and become an amazing person," I said, feeling my eyes clog up with tears.
Although Seolhyun could not see me, I think she sense it and pulled me into a hug.
"It's okay baby," she said, my hair, "I don't mind. Just if he ever hurts you, remember that I have a truckload of swords coming for him."
I laughed. "Thanks man."
"You wanna call the others over?"
"Yes. Yes I do," I said and she took her phone out and called them to come over.
"They'll be here in five minutes."
"Okie Okie," I nodded as she put away her phone.
"By the way Seolhyun-ah, he kissed me."
"THE KING'S ARE HEEEEEEERE!" a roar came from the door and the boys appeared with chicken and drinks.
"So this is going to be a thing here?" I asked, "chicken and drinks?"
"What should we call this place?"
"The Shadow?" Taehyung said.
"Why?" I asked as they sat down and leaned against the window.
"Because it's so dark, and the light can't really get rid of the darkness in here," he said.
"Okay, so we're calling this place 'The Shadow'? Oh the irony," Seolhyun laughed.
"So what do you guys wanna do?" I asked.
"Let's talk," Seolhyun said.
"Talk?" I asked, surprised.
"Yeah. There's some sutff I wanna tell you guys," she went on to say.
"Alrighty then, you go," Taehyung said.
"Okay, guys, I wanted to tell you something about my past," she stole a glance at Jimin who was smiling to himself. Did he already know?
"Go ahead," I nodded.
"So, ever since I was born, I lived with my sister's father, mother, sister and brother. My sister's father soon walked out on us so we were left just the three of us with a single mother. Despite the fact that we all helped her around the house, doing chores and sutff, she favoured our sister. My mother wanted a beautiful daughter, who gets ranked first at school, can cook, and do all the things womanly possible. I just wasn't cut out for her. She basically hated me for not getting good grades and for not being beautiful, no matter how hard I tried. Then there was my brother. He was perfect, he got first place in school, handsome and loved by many, exce
