Prologue.

‘It hurts. It really hurts.’

People say that loving someone brings not only happiness, but pain too. Yoona didn’t want to believe it at first. After all, Minho has been the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Why wouldn’t it when the hot jock of the school that you’ve been having a huge crush on asks you, a little nobody (as everyone would put it), out? Not even her parents brought her such joy in her life, opting to work the hell out of themselves instead of spending time with her, but Minho did.

‘Why is loving someone so hard and painful?’

It was then she realized the true meaning of the term ‘calm before the storm’. Everything was like a fairytale when they first hit off as a fresh new couple. People congratulated them, more people started to approach her, and for once in her life, she knew what bring popular feels like. A week after that, her happiness crumbled before her eyes.

‘It was too good to be true.’

People say all the sufferings they have to go through is completely worth it… as long as they have the one they love beside them.

‘Is it really?’
