Dongwoon breathed in deeply and pushed his large suitcase – alone. There he was, at Narita airport, after an hour or so of flight, finally arrived in Japan and ready to begin his year of university in the foreign country. All these years of learning japanese to use it the better he could. He was truly happy to be here, in this country he learned to love through the few holidays he came here with his family; his like in foreign languages helped him for his studies and his parents were ready to let him leave the familial house for his life as a fresh newly twenty-year-old young man. So much to discover, to learn and to experience yet.

Dongwoon had waited all his highschool and the first two years of university for this year overseas. He wanted to live something new – his life in Seoul was enjoying but boring at the end. He wanted new places, unknown people, other habits to learn, because he was sure then something even hugher would happen, something which would change his entire life, the thing he was meant to since his birth, what god had prepared for him. Dongwoon was sure of it – whatever it was – was waiting for him here, in Japan.

Of course he was afraid, of course he already missed his family and friends, of course he would be like a child once alone in the little studio he already rented thanks to the internet. But he hoped it wouldn't last that long, and he would do everything he could to beautify his new flat and make it comfortable enough so it would give a "feel-like-home" vibe, get along well with his new neighborhood, his new university and h
