— zhoumi never really grew up. he is playful and always looking for a good time, wherever he goes, whatever he does. it allows him to keep a smile on his face no matter what is going on behind the scenes. zhoumi is charming and extroverted; he has more friends than he has fingers and toes. he is a sort of people magnet and attracts all kinds of people. he spend the better half of his day working. whether it is promotions, studio work, songwriting, acting, whatever, there is always something. and he prefers it like that; he has ample energy and always has some to spare, even after a long day rehearsing and memorizing a script. zhoumi is selfless and is always putting others above himself, even putting his own needs off to the side to help his friend. zhoumi is not without his faults, after all, he's only human. zhoumi is compulsive; everything has to be in order. everything has its place, things need to be clean and organized or he finds it hard to focus on other things. he's shameless and acts according to how he wants to act. he doesn't feel shame regarding anything, especially his work, and one will be hard-pressed to hear an apology from him about it. all the hardship he went through since his debut with super junior (m, whatever), he became suspicious of people. he isn't quick to believe kind words and the like. he can get jealous easily too; since he finds it hard to believe people he hasn't known for a long time, when he does start trusting someone new, especially a crush, and he starts thinking she might be more fond of someone else, he gets jealous. even in platonic relationships, he gets jealous if someone he considers a best friend doesn't think of him in the same way.

— zhoumi is a wuhan native, born and raised. he was born in 1986 to two loving attentive parents. he naturally grew closer to his mother who gave up a career to stay at home and raise him but he loves his father as well, just as much. 
— Zhoumi always wanted to be a singer and spent all his free time singing and signing up for compeitions. in 2006, he recieved an offer from sm entertainment and he chose to go to korea to become a singer and two years later he joined super junior m. 
— as a mock-member of super junior, zhoumi (and bandmate henry) recieved a lot of pain and suffering at the hands of super junior's fans. the psuhed passed it all and in 2014, he released his first solo album, rewind. 
 
THEIR STORY »
—  zhoumi and gabbie first met backstage at an smtown concert. as her mother was doing some publicity stuff at the time, they went backstage for a photo op when it was over. they didn't exchange more than a couple words at the time but the next time they met, on a plane to nanjing, zhoumi approched her. 

—  in nanjing, zhoumi escorted abbie around when he had the down time, and when he didn't, he found friends in the city who did. gabbie was not only thankful by zhoumi's thouhgtfullness but also obligated by social custom to accept. after a while, she decided she actually enjoyed zhoumi's company and found herself texting him first.

— "i, uh...." abbie laughs, wringing her hands in her lap. "went to a concert one night with my mum and, because my mum is who she is and all, we were able to go backstage and meet everyone and he was there, of course. we had a few words and that was that. i didn't think i'd see him again, but it just so happens we met again on a plane to nanjing. after that time, we kept in touch. and... yeah. that's that story." abbie laughed again.
