she is shrewd and quite intelligent. she likes to think she's a strong sense of character and can read people's body language and tone well. at the same time, she is very cynical and believes that most people are out for their own gain and is naturally quite distrustful of the majorty of people. she is pessimistic by a similar extention, and is almost always expecting and prepared for the worst to happen (and if it doesn't, she figures its nice to be surprised with a better outcome). she is impatient and stubborn. she hates having to wait all the time and can be rather easy to annoy. she can get snappy when provoked and can get a little harsh with her retorts. she is mostly of the mindset "my way or the highway", and it is sometimes hard for her to bend or conform to other's tendancies and ways of doing things. she is assertive and bold, confident and strong-willed. likewise she is very self-assured and quite independant. she is brave and hardly scared of any repercussions, even if she is pessimistic about them.
despite being cynical and pessimistic, STELLA is quite outgoing and has never met a stranger. she makes friends quickly and is very friendly. she gets enthusiastic as well; she is very passionate about her close friends and the things she likes and isn't afraid to show it. however, she can get posessive with said things, and finds it hard to share her friends with other people. she doesn't like it when people use her things without asking and can get quite upset when she discovers its happened.

1994 —
luna and stella were born sunyoung and sunhyeon in august to two very devoted parents.
1999 —
stella started school. she and her sister are enrolled in a local school and spent their years there until high school, when stella decided to go to an international school. she made friends and maintained good grades through the years, leaving junior high in the top 10% of her class.
2009 —
stella starts high school at an international school in the city. she already decided to be a translator and wanted to work on her language skills. she later changed her mind and wished to become a performer like her sister
2012 —
stella graduates high school and begins preparing for college. at the same time, she decided to try her hand at performing, as her sister is becoming more and more popular and successful. she signed with dream tea entertainment after much deliberation and was mentored by girl's day yura soon after entering. the same year, she IS INTRODUCED TO SHIM CHANGMIN AND OTHER SMTOWN ARTISTS BY HER SISTER LUNA.

LIKES.
— cold drinks. cold drinks are more refreshing than warm ones, despite warm ones being more appealing in the winter months. she likes everything cold, including soda, water, tea, coffee, etc.
— spicy food. if its not spicy, stella finds it to be bland and bland food seems to be an affront to nature, in her opinion.
— body lotions. she loves a lovely scented body lotion and has a rather wide collection of fragrances ranging from simple and clean to fruity, and flowery etc.

— insects. all the bugs, each one is disgusting and terrifying to her. she admires them for their role in the worlds ecosystem but they are something she would rather not have near her.
— her weaknesses. she hates letting people see her cry and it goes for almost everyone. she strongly dislikes asking for help with the important things.
— dark colors. she feels it clashes with her personality and finds that she more enjoys rich, bright, bold colors and patterns. that said, she can see the appeal of dark colors.

— shopping. she loves shopping, even if she's not buying anything. the atmosphere of shopping centers are so lively and electric, theres so much to do and see, how could she not love it?
— being a tourist. stella loves visiting all the tourist spots with her friends and taking photos, even if they have been there a hundred times. there is just something beautiful about being close to their culture.
Habits.
— singing in the shower. despite hearing her voice almost constantly and despite spending all day everyday singing, there is something calming about singing in the shower that stella loves. it releases all the day's tension and she always somehow feels cleaner. her friends find it funny and it is often used for a good laugh on variety shows.
— talking in her sleep. ever since she was young, she would mumble in her sleep. most of the nights she has a night guard she uses to prevent it but sometimes she forgets or simply doesnt have it - like on road trips and the like.

2012 —
stella starts at dream tea entertainment. luna brings her to an event held by smtown and is introduced to shim changmin as well as other smtown artists. she is put on a strict regimine of dancing, singing, and rapping lessons right off the bat.
2013 —
GIRL'S DAY MEMBER YURA MENTORS HER AND TO THIS DAY, REMAINS GOOD FRIENDS WITH HER. stella's training regimine intensifies as rumors start to spread that there is a new girl group in the works. she begins a strict diet intended to lose lots of weight fast in order to gain a more impressive figure.
2014 —
stella is placed in rosa. she spends the days and nights training so she would not be eliminated nor be the weakest link when the group debuted. most of the time, she was one of the earliest to arrive at the studio and the last to leave. her training was expanded to now include modeling, interview basics, and acting.

— changmin and stella were introduced by stella's sister luna a couple years before stela was set to debut in rosa. changmin and luna weren't close, but it was a company function and she brought her sister along to prove she was a twin (some members of the company dared her to bring her twin). changmin and stella's personalities sort of clashed but they connected immediately and have been talking ever since.
— due to her upcoming debut, the two have stopped talking as much and have not further explored thier relaitonship although they would like to. neither have confessed anything to the other yet.

— changmin tends to be very gentlemanly toward women in general (more or less), but especially toward stella. all stella would have to do is hint that she wanted or needed something and changmin would jump to do it or get it for her. however, he is also a bit of a bully toward her; he likes to about her performances (ex. the way her hair fell after a impressive dance move, the way her words might've slurred together in a particularly complicated rap, an odd expression during a photoshoot, etc), her fashion (ex. wearing too many patterns, something about her heels being too high and now she cant run, how her sweatpants for training hang too low, how her ponytail is too messy, etc), her answers on variety show questions (ex. how she spoke too fast and no one understood her, how her face looked funny when she said a thing, how she keeps playing with her hair, etc), and such. however, he never lefts anyone else say a bad word about stella or her band - only he can bully them. he tends to get jealous when stella is with other men and sometimes picks fights with her or him if they appear too close for his comfort. he sometimes tells stella he wishes that she never got messed up in idol life because he believes her life would be so much better if she just went to college and continued as a normal person.
— stella was always interested in changmin, but because of his personality and the fact that he annoys her, she never was in any sort of 'puppy love' with him. she loves how he treats her like she is a princess, opening doors for her, doing anything she asked, and so on. she even sort of likes him teasing her, it should annoy her, she knows that but to her, it only tells her just how closely he is paying attention to her, even if they aren't together at the time. she too, teases him so she figures it evens it all out ( she'll about similar things, ex. how he gets realy animated with his expressions on variety, how he likes to flex on stage, how he likes certain dance moves because it gets fans riled up, his falsetto, how he seems to be prone to being shirtless, how much he eats, etc). since she discovered he is jealous when it comes to her, she likes to with how much she likes such-and-such a singer. she is careful not to use one of his friends to do this however (but who knows? maybe some things are hard to avoid no matter how you try). she is cuddly and loves contact and she finds that changmin is really comfortable. more often than not, when she has honest-to-god free time, she is at changmin and yunho's apartment, just relaxing and playing around.
