Kai POV 

After Artemis made dinner and boy was it delicious it called chicken divine. Which Onew loved because it had chicken in there.

" I swear one day you are going to turn into chicken ." I said to Onew 

" Now that's mean Kai ." He says as pouts like two year old 

" Guys, no fighting at the dinner table I mean look at Apollo. He's more mature than you two and he's three ." Taemin said 

Artemis chuckled 

I love that smile.

" Taemin thanks for coming over ." She said 

" It's no trouble I've been want to visit this little guy ." He said as he ruffles Apollo hair

" And what about me ." I said 

" And you are ?." He ask jokingly 

" Well I never ." I said fake being hurt

He starts laughing.

I smirked a little because we were joking around like that for as long as I can remember. 

Artemis gets up first and goes to the window to check house to see if he's home. He gets home early sober but if he comes home late that mean he's drunk. 

Artemis would never Apollo go home with her when he comes drunk. He's very violent when he's drunk and I got pictures to prove it just in case. He goes too far with Artemis.

She walks back to the dinner and fearful expression on her face. I guess that means he isn't home yet. 

She looks at me

" Yes, he can stay the night ." I said 

She nods 

" I'm run over and get some of his things for the night ." She said

" Artemis and why don't you move in with one of us ." Taemin ask 

" Taemin Oppa I'm doing this protect all of you ." She said 

What does that mean ?.

" Arte, what do you mean by that ?." Onew ask 

She turns to Apollo.

" Sweetie, why don't you go watch some cartoons ." She says 

Apollo nod and to the living room and turns on the tv to scooby-doo, where are you ?.

" What I'm about to tell you can never ever leave this house ok ." She said

Seriously what's going on with her. 

But we nod our heads to agree with her.

" 10 years ago before I met you guys I witnessed my father murdered my mother ." She said sullen

" I'm calling the police ." Onew says 

" No !." She says with fear in her voice

" Why not ?." Taemin ask 

" Because he told me if I ever told someone, he would kill me and the person that I told ." She said 

" Now you have to definitely move out ." I said 

" I can't Kai because he'll hunted me and Apollo down like animals ." She says 

I swear to god I'm gonna hurt this man. 

I shook my head 

" What time is it ?." She ask 

I look at the clock above the stove. 

" 9:05pm ." I said 

" I should hurry then before 11:00pm ." She says as begin walk to the door

Just like that she gone.

" Hyung, where is mommy going ?." Apollo ask

" She has get some things for you because you're spending with me buddy ." I said 

" But she will come back right ." He said 

I nod 

" Always little buddy ." I said smiling 

I take out my phone called Kris

" Hello ." He said 

" I need your help ." I said

" What's wrong ?." He ask 

" It's Artemis ." I said 

" What's wrong with her ?." He said with concern 

" Bullying at school is getting pretty bad. Onew carried her to the house. She has at least three fractured ribs Kris ." I explained 

" Damn it !." He said angrily 

" Can you call your brother and transfer him to her school at she'll have some protection because she need it. Hyung she being forced into doing ual favors for those damn kids that run the school. She freaking scared of the school and kids that are in there ." I said 

" WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY UAL FAVORS KAI ?." He screamed through the phone 

" I mean she's forced into having with a group of boys that run the school ." I said with disgusted 

" DAMN IT !!!." He shouts 

" She scared Hyung ." I said 

" Did she tell you herself about what's being on ?." He ask

" No, but she does sleep talk a lot ." I said 

" Fine, I ask my brother if he can transfer along his friends ." He said

I feel a little at ease now.

" Thanks Hyung ." I said 

" I'm going to do daily reports on her ." He said 

" I'll fill in Seungcheol on the situation and his friends. They should be there tomorrow morning ." He said 

" Once again thanks ." I said 

" Bye ." He says 

I hung up and Artemis comes in through the front door with Apollo things in her hand. Onew and Taemin say their goodbyes.

" Mommy sing me lullaby before you go ." He said 

" Ok, my angel but wash up and brush your teeth ." She said as she hands him his stuff

He nods and skips merrily to the bathroom. 

" Oh, Onew and Taemin did the cleaning ." She says as she looks at the kitchen 

" Yeah, they figured you be too tired due today events ." I said

" I should call them later ." She says 

I nod 

" Mommy !." He said as runs to her 

She catches him and picks him up in her arms.

" Did you brushed your teeth and washed your face like good little boy ?." She ask him with a smile 

She always smiling despise what's she going through right now.

" Yes, mommy ." He said 

" Alright come on time for bed ." She says 

" Can Hyung come too ?." He ask 

" Yes ." She says 

We walk to the guest bedroom which I always keep already for them. Once he tuck in and comfortable.

I look at that now asleep Apollo. We both walk out of the room but I don't want her to go to that hellhole.

" Artemis, stay here for the night ." I said 

" I can't Kai Oppa ." She says 

" Yes can I mean we can protect you from him ." I reasoned with her 

" No, the last thing on my mind is getting you guys or Apollo hurt in this. It's my fight I'll find some way to end soon ." She explained 

I nod 

She walks over to me with a smile and ruffles my hair. Then hugs me and I hugged her back I really don't want her to go to that hellhole.

" I'll be fine Kai Oppa I'll call you tomorrow ok ." She says 

" Fine ." I said pouted 

She chuckled at me and just like the wind. She's gone again until she's needed.
