Artemis POV

I wake up to white room where I'm surrounded by machines. I hear the heart monitor beeping. 

I must have passed out last night. 

I look around and to my right side I found Soo-Hyuk asleep also he's holding my hand. 

I like it when he's holding my hand.

He stirs a little bit but doesn't wake. 

The door to my hospital room opens I look and it's Kai. 

" Thanks goodness I honestly I thought you'd be asleep still ." He said smiling 

He looks exhausted. 

" Kai Oppa ." I said weakly 

" Yes ." He said

" What happened I feel like I've been in hit by a train ." I said

Then Soo-Hyuk wakes up. 

" You woke up ." He said smiling tiredly 

" Have you've been here all night ?." I ask 

" He never left your side ." Kai said 

I look at him and my heart speeds up a bit 

" Oh ." I said 

" But there's something you should know Arte ." Kai said as his expression turned seriously 

" What is it ?." I ask 

" Surgery went well but during the surgery we had shocked your heart back to life ." Kai said 

" Oh god ." I said as my blood froze in fear 

" You cannot tell Apollo about this ever ! Do you hear me Kai ." I said 

" Yes ." He said

" And same goes for you ." I said as I looked Soo-Hyuk 

He nods in agreement.  

Wait !.

" Wait a minute ." I said 

They looked at me. 

" If you're here Kai and you're here Soo-Hyuk, then who in the hell is watching MY SON !!!." I shouted at the last part as I sat up 

I winced in at the pain. 

" Are you're an idiot ? You have  stitches ! Are you trying open them ?." Kai said as he rush to my side 

Soo-Hyuk helps me laid back down in the hospital bed which made uncomfortable. That's why I hated hospitals the beds were so uncomfortable. 

" Artemis ." Soo-Hyuk said 

I nod

" Apollo is with Kris ." He said 

Breath in relief. 

" Artemis, you came in with four broken ribs, cracked skull, broken wrist and also a punctured lung along with your left cheek cut opened ." Kai explained 

I nod in acknowledged,

" That ?." I ask

" In jail ." Soo-Hyuk said 

Thank the heavens. 

" I want to speak the detective now ." I said 

Kai nods and leaves to call the detective to my room. 

" Soo-Hyuk, can you stay with me ?." I ask softly 

" Always ." He said 

Few minutes later and the detective comes in through the my door. 

" Hi, I'm detective Baek ." He said as he bowed 

" I'm Artemis Santos I want to report child abuse and a murder ." I said 

Soo-Hyuk looks at me in shock because one there's was no murder committed and two that's were he's wrong. 

" May I ask against who ?." He ask 

" The man that was brought into custody last night I'm his victim ." I said 

" Ok, if I may be so bold to ask. Who is he ?." He ask 

" My father ." I said malice 

" Ah, as for murder part, when did it happened ?." He ask 

" It happened 10 years ago I'm an eye witness to the murder and my father committed the murder of my mother ." I said 

Soo-Hyuk gasped at what I've just told the detective.

" Do you mind telling why did you wait so long to report it ." He said 

" He threaten to kill me ." I said 

" I see, ok Artemis tell me everything you remember from that night ." He said as took a pen and notepad 

" He killed my mother right in front of me when I was seven. One night she read me a story like every other night. Then as we were in the middle of the story I heard deafly sound ." I said but I closed my eyes as begin to remember 

Soo-Hyuk squeezes my hands to let me know that's he's here for me. 

" Take our time ." Mr. Baek said 

" I look at my mother in horror and her face was blown off with shotgun. I was covered in her own blood. I ran from my bedroom, to the secret room that my father didn't know about only me and my mother knew about it ." I said shakily 

" Remember you can take your time with this ." Mr. Baek said 

" I hid there until he sober up when I came out of hiding he told me to clean up the mess and bury the body. I never told anyone because he threaten to kill and bury me next to her if I told anyone ." I said weakly 

" That's everything I need except where's the body ." He said 

" He made me bury her in the backyard of the house ." I said 

" Ok, thank you and we let know about trial ." He said as he took his leave 

I nod and he left me with Soo-Hyuk.

" You must tired now, why don't you take nap for a bit ." He said 

" That sounds like a good idea ." I said smiling at him 

He gets up and kisses me on my forehead then leaves my room I closed my eyes.
