Soo-Hyuk POV 

I refocus my hearing again but I catch something. Someone screaming and glass breaking. 

" You honestly thought you can ing leave !." He roars 

" Kai ! Onew ! ." Someone screams

Artemis !

" Shut the up ! You stupid !." The other roars 

" Ahh ! Soo-Hyuk ! Help me !." She screams 

That's definitely Artemis !.

" Excuse me where Artemis house ?." I ask him 

" She right next door to Kai's ." He said 

One before Kai's house ! Please be ok when I get there.

" Excuse I'm gonna make a run ." I said as I ran to Artemis

Artemis POV 

I walk in through the door and so far its silent.

So, maybe he’s not home yet. 

I go to my old bedroom and grab my mom’s old gym bag which is large enough to carry the things I need for me and Apollo. 

Well maybe I should take my mom’s suitcase too from when we moved from Las Vegas to Seoul when I was six. I mean she's won't be needed it anymore that is. 

 I head over to the closet and grab the suitcase I begin fill with my clothes even Apollo clothes were into the mix. 

I’ll sort it out later. 

I continue to pile our clothes in the suitcase and the gym bag I don’t have my school stuff because I left that Kai’s place. Once I finished I grabbed the bags in my hands I head straight for the door. 

As I grabbed the door knob I’m only to be greeted with metal bat and the stench of alcohol which I hated my whole life. 

“ Where the ! Do you think you’re going ?.” My father roars 

I whimpered in pain. 

“  You honestly thought you can ing leave !." He roars again and hit me with the metal bat 

Oh God ! He’s gonna kill me. 

" Kai ! Onew ! ." I screamed as he hits me over and over 

I can’t die here in this hellhole. 

" Shut the up ! You stupid !." He roars as he still hits me 

I screamed in pain.

" Ahh ! Soo-Hyuk ! Help me !." I screamed in hope that someone or him heard me 

He still hitting me with the metal bat and then he pulls out his work knife put to the corner of my lip of the left side of my side. He cuts me all way up to my left hair side now I’m covered in blood and bruises.

 There’s unnerving pain everywhere in my body and boy I’ve never felt this kind of pain before I mean it’s different from the rest. Then the front door burst wide open and there’s he is. 

“ Soo-Hyuk .” I said weakly 

“ Artemis !.” He said as he looks at me with concern and horror of he’s done to me

Then he turns to look at my father in his drunken state of mind and those that were once filled with concern are now filled with a blazing fury. 

He does a roundhouse to my father’s face with makes him unconscious. 

“ I think there’s some rope in the glass cabinet on right side of you .” I said weakly 

“ Ok, but don’t fall asleep Artemis .” He said 

He walks over to the glass cabinet and he find yellow rope with dried blood on it. 

“ If wondering whose blood that is and I can tell you it’s mine .” I said weakly 

I spit out the blood that welling in my mouth.

God ! I hate that iron taste. 

He walks over to my drunken father and begins to tie him up very tightly too. So, that he doesn’t get away or if he wakes up. Either I’m protected from him as well as my son at least we can breath for a while. 

“ Artemis .” He says as kneel in front of me 

“ Yes .” I said 

“ You need to go to the hospital this time .” He said 

I think he’s right.

“ Fine I’ll go this time .” I said weakly smiling 

God ! It hurts to smile. 

I take out my flip phone that Onew and Kai brought for me I mean it’s nice. It’s LeFun 2015 Flip Phone Dual Screens Dual SIMs 3G WCDMA Smartphone Android 4.3 Dual-Core. I hit 1 because Kai is speed dial. 

I handed the phone to him. 

“ Talk for me .” I said shaky

He nods and takes the phone from me. 

“ Kai, this Soo-Hyuk I’m taking Artemis to the hospital .” He said 

“ Why ?.” I heard Kai

“ She’s greatly injured .” He said 

“ How ?.” Kai ask over the phone 

“ Her drunken father found her leaving with bags in her hands and began beating her with a metal bat. Then he cutted up her left side of her face and I told her this time she’s to go to the hospital for further analysis. Also can you call the police on him and have arrested for attempted murder in first degree .” He explained 

“ Yes but it looks like she won’t need to go the police station in morning anymore .” Kai says 

“ You’re right on that .” He said 

“ Ok, I’ll meet you guys at the hospital I mean after all I’m her doctor .” Kai said 

“ Ok, see you there .” He said 

Then he hung up my phone and pockets it.

“ How bad is the pain ?." He ask

" It's worse than usual ." I said heavily 

I can't hold the blood anymore I cough up on him. 

Now I've ruined his suit !.

" I'm sorry ." I said softly

" It's okay and let's go to the hospital also don't to sleep ! I need you stay awake ." He said as he picks me slowly 

As much I want to stay awake I couldn't keep the darkness away I want to see him again I really hope that I make it.
