At Pledis Academy, only the Elite prosper. Everyone must follow the strict rules and order enforced by the exclusive group.

In order to get into the Elite, students must be nominated by existing members where their names are dropped into a draw called the lottery. From the lottery, nominees are picked for an audition. Those who are lucky enough to pass their auditions must then endure weeks to months of hazing, being forced to do whatever the elite bid you and more. But this is not all done in vain, no, because in the end, only the lucky ones will get a ring to symbolize official status as a member. A symbol of true power and prestige, something akin to a King's Crown.

So, What would you do for a ring?

Let's take a look at this year's 2015 lottery nominees, shall we?

1. Kwon Soonyoung, A nobody and scholarship student. No past school history in the school database. Why would a nobody be nominated for the elite?

2. Song Hera, a transferee from America. A non-conformist to Pledis Academy's order. Will she be the Katniss Everdeen to our revolution?

3. Kim Mingyu, an aspiring elitist. He has the money, the looks, but still lacks a certain class that the Elite uphold. What could that be?

"If you don't want to be like them, then why are you playing their game?" He shook his head in confusion.

"Who said I was playing anybody's game?" She threw back her head in fake laughter, "Aren't you the same, then? You're nothing like them, so why do you do it-this-everything?" Her eyes had returned back to their serious, deep muddy shade of amber.

He snorted in reply to the question, turning to face the opposite direction of her. "I'm not playing their game," Soonyoung muttered. "I'm just riding the current,"

"The current?" It was her turn to scoff.

"I'm waiting for the perfect conditions. The calm before the storm,"
