Taemin hurried to the rooftop, he knew Naeun was probably waiting for him right now. He was out of breath as he reached the door, then slowly he turned the door knob, opened and made his way to the place they promised to meet. His feet became lighter each step he moved forward. After he reached the top he could see her from the back, staring at the sky quietly, she was so beautiful that it took his breath away. It was the same as the day they first met, but this time he was yearning for her. The cold air made his throat really dried and the nervousness made his voice shaky as he talked

“Naeun-ah,…”

She turned around slowly to see his face while she tried to fix her hair, it was because she was so nervous to see him also.

“Sorry, did you wait long? I was going to come here before you but I couldn’t because my manager asked me to wait for him, and I kept waiting and waiting…” Taemin just threw out words as he didn’t know what to do, he still couldn’t look her in the eyes as he talked

“Ani- gwaenchanh, I just got here not long ago,” Naeun spoke as she lifted her head up to face him, but she still couldn’t look at him in the eyes

Right then Temin took out his coat and put it around Naeun’s body, Naeun told him it was okay because she didn’t want him to get sick but Taemin insisted, and he placed the hand warmers in Naeun’s palms. Taemin realized that she had lost weight compared to the last time he held her hands. And while Taemin was trying to get her warm, Naeun kept staring at his face. She was so happy to be able to see him, but her heart was also in a lot of pain when she saw him up close. Without thinking clearly Naeun just let go of the hand warmers and threw her arms around Taemin’s neck as she pulled him closely to her. Her tears ran down her cheek and fell on his skin.

“What’ve you done to yourself? You look like a skeleton….Didn’t you promise me not to get sick? But what is this?” Naeun buried her face and rested her forehead on Taemin’s Shoulder as she talked

“Looks who's talking? didn’t you make a promise to me first? But you couldn’t keep it..” Taemin held Naeun’s body tightly with both of his arms.

He breathed in her scent and smiled as he started to believe that it was reality, he could finally held her in his arms again. But then Taemin pulled Naeun and wiped the tears from her cheeks

“Naeun-Babo, why are you crying so much? Are you a baby?” Taemin smiled at her again as Naeun looked him in the eyes and put her ran her fingers on his cheek, eyes, nose, and lips.

“You’re real…” She whispered to herself

“Yeah I am, so do you...” Taemin rest his forehead against hers and smiled as he spoke

After afew minutes past, both of them decided to sit down and talk things out but there was nothing but a dead silent between the two. They were little lost of what just happened, at first they thought that the first impression of their meeting would be awkward since they didn’t see each other for a long time and with all the things happened between them. But they found it was more awkward afterward, that why Taemin decided to take the lead and broke off the silent

“Don’t you have something you want to tell me?” Taemin turned to look at her

“How much do you know?” Naeun asked even though she knew he found out about the whole truth from Kai

“About everything… I would say” Taemin leaned back little

“What else do you want to hear then?” Naeun kept looking down

“Everything…” Taemin said, which made Naeun little confused and turned her head to look at him because she didn’t know what else to tell if he already knew about the whole thing

“Why… why didn’t you tell me about what happened at the company with the VP, why did you carry all the burdens alone and left me all clueless? Did…  you not believe in me? What were you thinking...” Taemin knew most of the answers to the questions that she did them for his sake but he still wanted to hear it straight from

“To tell you the truth, not everything I said was a lie..” Naeun started to play with her ring again as she spoke, she could feel Taemin was little surprise to her respond. Then she turned to look at him

“Oppa.. Your career as an idol is everything to you I can’t take that away from you… I can’t be that selfish” Naeun continued as she turned to look at her ring

“I’ve seen you dance and sing on stage, you are so full of life and happiness in that shiny light… you belong there.” Naeun smiled slightly

“But you are really important to me too-” Taemin leaned forward so Neun could see his face as he spoke

“I know, I know I am, that’s why I decided to make decision of leaving you… I didn’t want you to choose between me and your future. I thought that was the best for both of us… and also for our groups. I didn’t want our members go through hard time because of us,” Naeun turned to look at Taemin who had his head down

“But you were wrong…” Taemin spoke in a soft voice as he recalled the pain of losing her

“Yeah, I was…., letting you go was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced… and you-I gave you so much pain-” Naeun’s voice broke off

Taemin was happy to hear that, then he grabbed her hands and moved closer to her

“It wasn’t your fault, stop feeling that way. I have a lot of lacking too, I couldn’t protect you like I promised. I’m sorry Naeun” Taemin patted her hand as he
