"Being stuck in the past is like walking forward with your back facing the front.
You'll always miss out on what's in front of you." chapter one  Stuck In the Past

"Jessica, you have no idea how happy I am. How happy you make me, how happy you make my life."

Jessica looked up at her 3 year lover and observed his features. "I don't have any idea?"

He chuckled as he shook his head at her. His lips formed into a grin as his daring eyes stared into her brown orbs. "No, you don't."

She looked and saw his sharp nose, muscular jawline, sparkling eyes, and thin grin looking at her. She just stared back into his orbs. Before she knew it, she
was already leaning in towards his lips. Those lips that she longs to have forever.

Once her lips met with his, she felt the sparks. The sparks that every person wishes to feel when they are with someone. The sparks that make people feel like
they are crazy in love. Their lips were synced and in motion, moving perfectly with each other as the kiss was passionate and even getting heated.

Jessica didn't want to let this end. She could already feel her arms wrapping his long neck and broad shoulders. She just wanted more. She craved more.

She could feel his large and slender hands travel up her arms and gently grab her face.

Pulling away slowly, gasping for air, Jessica couldn't help but smile at the man before her. "Oh, Kris," she breathed out, before capturing his lips once more.

In moments, the two of them had made their way towards the bed in his apartment.

Those were the moments that were worth remembering.

But there were times that were hard to forget.

Jessica sat in the passenger seat of her boyfriend's car. She felt good about the day. Looking to her left, she smiled seeing the handsome face she always
longed to see every second, every minute, every hour, and every day.

"You know, it's very rude to stare, Babe," Kris chuckled at her. "I know I'm handsome, but you don't need to stare."

"You are so full of it, you know that?" Jessica .

Kris glanced at her. "But you love me anyways. And you know you can't deny that."

Jessica couldn't help but smile at him. She caressed his face, feeling every defined feature. "I love you, so much."

Kris looked deeply at her. "I love you, too." He quickly kissed her lips.

*BEEEEEEEEEP*

The two of them gasped, pulling back and diverting their eyes to what was happening. Kris stepped hard on the brakes, finding themselves in the middle of the intersection.

Looking to the left, Jessica screamed out, "Kris!" She mentally grabbed that image of the light coming towards her man's face.

He looked at her with a panicked face before everything out.

"No! No! No!"

"Jessica! Jessica!"

"No!" Jessica immediately shot up from her nightmare, breathing heavily and sweating. She looked up and saw her two closest male friends. She exhaled, still feeling out of breath. "No. No. It was all my fault."

"Jessica," the doe-eyed male called for her softly, pulling her in for a warm hug. He cradled her in his arms, rocking her back and forth. "Shhh, it's okay. Luhan is here. Luhan is here. It's okay."

The colder looking male made a face. "Yah, Sehun is here, too!" The male looked towards her with concern as he her arm. "Sehun is here, too, Noona. Sehun is here."

Jessica looked up at the two males as tears trickled down her cheek. "Luhan. . ." she whispered out. "Sehun. . ."

"What is it?" Luhan asked her with a soft voice.

"Is. . . is it. . . my fault? Is it my fault. . . that he's gone?" Jessica stuttered as her voice trailed off.

Luhan could only hug her tighter. He knew why she would ask or why she
