"Yo! Ji Yong wait up!" Ji Yong and Dara turned around to see Taeyang not so far behind them. He caught up in no time, then Ji Yong put his Arm around Taeyang and started whispering in his ear. Dara unable to hear, was getting frustrated.

'They're talking, and I'm not included in the conversation?! Hmph! And I'm your best friend?' After Ji Yong finished speaking to Taeyang he shoved him next to Dara,

"I'm gonna head back I forgot something... You guys go ahead without me." He smiled almost deviously. Dara had an almost untrusting look on her face.

"Uhh... Sure..." she said continuing on as Taeyang slowly followed. Ji Yong smiled, he then made a mad dash back home. As soon as he got there his mom greeted him with surprise,

"Ah! Ji Yongie, you should be at school..."

"Don't worry Umma, I forgot my ID, and TOP's gonna pick me up..." he explained heading to his room.

"This time you bring your ID? It never stopped you before... Why so eager to have it now?" she asked standing in his doorway. He took a second to think about,

"I don't know... I guess I-" he never finished his reply for a Honk was heard from outside. "Oh, gotta go, bye umma, see you when I get home." He began to run out the door.

"Be careful!" She yelled as he got in TOP's bright red convertable. He's had it for almost a year, his father was so happy when TOP aced his driving test on the first time, he had to get him whatever car his son desired. It's been his baby since, and no girl could come in between him and it.

"Aish Ji Yong-ah! Watch where you're jumping, you almost dented the door. Ji Yong rolled his eyes, "Sorry..." He said with heavy sarcasm. As they drove off TOP couldn't help but make conversation. "So you still with Amber?" he asked not with much interest, since he probally knew the answer to it already.

"Nah I broke it off Saturday." he answered also uninterested in the subject.

"Really!? Man that's a new record isn't? That was only a day and a half, ne?" Top said now getting interested, as he would turn to look at Ji Yong but then turn back to focus on the road.

"Nope, the shortest was Taeyon..." he paused a bit. TOP waited. "We only went out for half an hour..." He finished smiling. TOP couldn't help but laugh.

"Wow... You need a stable relationship you know that right?" he said.

"I don't... It's impossible... The only girl that will be constant in my life, and not be my umma, is Dara." he said looking back towards the road uninterested once more.

"Then why don't you just get with her...?" He paused being a bit serious. Ji Yong was in no rush to answer...

"Because I don't and CAN'T see her that way... She's one of my oldest friends... She's older than me... and I only see her as my Noona... I've got thousands and thousands of reasons, of impossibilties between us... It's never gonna happen." He replied never raising interest on the subject. TOP could tell he was serious on that subject.

"I heard Key and Onew talking about you two... They said something about chemistry..." TOP said making sarcastic kissy faces at Ji Yong. He laughed, "The only chemistry we share, is 4th period."After a while it got quiet, until TOP asked a question he's always wondered.

"So then, will you ever settle?" Ji Yong couldn't help but wonder himself.

"Nah, I don't think I'll ever fall in love..." he said as the reached their destination. As he stepped out of the car everyone turned to see. It was a cliche movie moment in a highschool scene, All the girls swooned as he passed by and gave them winks, and all the guys would greet him with high fives. He was the stereotypical popular guy in school.

~With Dara~

She was already at school, Taeyang had left once they got there. She remembered the walk there, and the awkward silence that came with it...

'We're finally here' she thought. she turned around to see Taeyang looking down. She was about to say something but he beat her to it. "Bye Dara! I'll see you later.." He rushed off right after. 'Hmm... How weird, he never used be like this before, but ever since 8th grade... It's more awkward...' She soon started to walk by herself contemplating the times Taeyang, Ji Yong and her had so much fun. They grew up together, and even though Ji Yong was 2 years younger than her and Taeyang, they hung out with him because he was cool. She remembered everything... 'Oh, this is my locker' she giggled as she stopped in front of it.

She was still unpacking her backpack into the locker when she heard a loud bang come from the locker next to her. She turned to see who made it.

"Hey there goregous!" It was Chaerin. Dara Smiled.

"CL! How you doing beautiful?" she replied after giving her friend a big hug. "Wonderful, I just got my schedule fixed." She smiled Happily.

"Boo!" Came another person. The other girls jumped as the person where the sound came from laughed.

"Aish! Minji-ah, you almost gave me a heart attack." Dara said holding onto her chest, "See my heart is aching... Those are serious symptoms." She giggled. "Speaking of Heartaches... Where's your boyfriend unnie?" CL asked. Dara rolled her eyes. "He's not my boyfriend... The thought of that makes me... *gags*" she said making the gesture. "Ah whatever, everybody talks about it... It's in the news... DaraGon bound to happen. Oh I love Ji Yong Oppa." Cl laughed.

"Blehh... If you're so fond of him, why don't you go out with him?" CL frowned.

"I'm not pretty like you, he never notices me..." Dara smiled trying to console her friend.

"Maybe it's because you're a Sophmore..." Dara said.

"Aish, bring that up why don't you, It's not my fault I wasn't smart enough to move up a grade like him. He would've been in the same grade as me... And then who'd be laughing Junior..." CL stated matter'o'factly. Dara thought about, but answered quickly, "Uh... still me!" she smiled, CL was about to retort but Minji interupted grwing tired of the topic.

"You hear about the new tansfer we got?" She sounded excited.

"No, who?" Dara asked closing her locker door.

"Yea, this new girl, I hear she came from the states.. Her family's pretty wealthy, and she's really pretty..." She continued. "Well I hope she survives the GD shark attack." Dara laughed.

"I don't think she dates... Her father is very stict, and she focuses alot on school work..." Minj said.

"Is that why she's here?" CL asked.

"Well of course, Choong Ahn High is one of the most prestigious schools in Seoul. You either hav to be really rich or super smart to be here... And well, she's both. Either way, I hear how she's always trying to get her father's approval, bu he's hard to please, so she never dates because boyfriends are always a distraction..." Minji finished. Dara still couldn't believe Minji was a freshman, and she knw everyone and everything that went on in this school.

"But we're talking about Kwon Ji Yong! Mr. G-Dragon the almighty!" CL exclaimed. "That is true..." Dara said pressing her fingers together in thought. "What grade is she in?!" CL asked worried.

"She's a Junior..." Minji said as CL burst into 'tears'

"AIGOO! I have no chance anymore!" CL ranted. Dara rubbed her back, "You'll get through this..." she consoled, as the bell rang and they made their way to their classes.

'Aish, I hope Chaerin feels better...' Dara thought as she made her way to Pre-calculus. She didn't know how she madeint th clas but she wasn't going to fail it and have to repeat it over again. As she entered the class she noticed a girl she never knew before, standing in the front near the teacher's desk. She sat down in her seat and stared at her.

'Omo... she's so pretty... her hair's so bright... And her legs... Aigoo, no, no Sandara Park wat are you saying... Ah, hell she's got incredible legs!' was running through her mind the whole time.

"Class, Class! Settle down, and meet your new classmate, This is miss Park Bom. She's a transfer from the states, and I know it's already half of the school year, but you will treat her s if she has been here... And help her catch up..." Is all the teacher said before telling her to sit. She sat near the front and was being harassed by the guy next to her. Dara watched closely, as she as was totally ignorant to all his moves. Dara quietly chuckled at the scene.

'I guess Minji was right... She is serious about school.... I wonder what Ji Yong will do when she ignores him...' Dara thought, laughing at the image of Ji Yong's failed attempts.

"Okay class get out your notes, today we will be learning about Logarithmic Functions." The teacher said as the majority of the class groaned. Dar a turned to Bom to see her getting out a notebook and writing down the notes with ease. Dara then looked at the board.

a, b, c and d are coefficients and B is the base of the logarithm.

 Dara had a lost look on her face. 'How am I in this class again?'  she thought as she turned to look at Bom again, who had her hand raised in question. "Yes Miss Park?" He asked. "Um... I'm sorry but I already learned this..." she said meekly. He looked at her in disbelief, soon she walked up and began to do a problem so he could see.

After she finished she handed the marker back to the teacher. He was shocked and embarassed. She sat back down and then he said, "Okay so how about we talk after class to see if you are fit for this class. Other than that... Just sit back for the lesson." She nodded in acceptence. Dara looked at her problem and only one thing surfaced in her mind. 'Omo, she's got pretty handwriting!' she smiled and continued trying to follow the lesson.

~With Ji Yong~

"That's why Shakespeare's dead!" The student exclaimed towards the teacher. Ji Yong inwardly laughed at teh poor unfortunate student who was soon sent out of the classroom.

"Any one else care to share an opinion?" The teacher raged. Ji Yong quickly regained his composure. 'Come on Ji Yong, you gotta get serious... you need those good grades. Dang, Yoona's lookin' fine today...' he thought to himself as he eyed her. She quickly caught wind of it and turned to look at him. He began to give her looks, while she replied with soft gestures and subtle giggles.

"Mr. Kwon?" Ji Yong looked up to see the teacher point to him. "Come here and recite a line from one of his poem's, if you're so engulfed in this class." He got up as his friends smirked at him, when got to the front he turned to look at the class, ignoring the quiet chuckles and the girls trys for his attention.

Unthrifty loveliness, why dost thou spend
Upon thy self thy beauty's legacy?
Nature's bequest gives nothing, but doth lend,
And being frank she lends to those are free:
Then, beauteous niggard, why dost thou abuse

The whole class was speechless as he turned to look at his teacher. His teacher in subtle surprise nodded, as he returned to his seat.

"Despite Ji Yong's amazing recite, I doubt that all of you yet to learn of Shakespeare truly, so turn your book to page 360 and follow along." he trailed off. Ji Yong began to turn his book to the page number when Taeyang nudged him. "Yo, that was so awesome, where did that come from?" JI Yong smirked, "It's nothing, I have to know my stuff, and... My dad was into Shakespeare..." he continued. "Oh..." Taeyang said as he looked away for a bit. But then turned back when another question surfaced in his mind. "So what happened with Amber? I hear you guys are over..." Ji Yong turned to look at Yoona seeing as she was still trying to get his attention. He turned towards the front. "She wasn't much of a challenge... There's no mystery... No playing hard to get... I mean getting girls is no longer a sport for me... It's very easy now and it bores me... Yoona," he turned to her once more to see she was paying attention to the lesson, "I think she's gonna be easy too..." He trailed off as Taeyang was already paying attention to the lesson as well. Ji Yong soon got tired and turned to pay attention also... 'Hmph... I already know this...' He thought as he put his pencil down and decided to nap.

'Is there ever going to be someone to challenge me...?'

Was this too much... I feel I rushed, and wrote too much for the first chapter, but I had no real character development... Hmm... It'll get better in the next chapter or two.. Anyways thanks for your support and much love.
