"JOSHUA! JOSHUA!!" I yelled, with all my might, but all that responded were the birds in the trees.

"Joshua.. I need you.."

"AM I USELESS TO YOU TOO!!!" 

I felt hopeless. Or rather, I felt abandoned. 

I turned to the shed and screamed my heart out, "AND I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FAMILY! I GUESS YOU DIDN'T HUH?" by now, tears were streaming by my face, "IT MUST HAVE BEEN FUNNY. WATCHING ME TRUSTING YOU. WATCHING ME.... LAUGH, CRY.. LETTING MY DEFENSES DOWN. ANSWER ME! WAS IT FUNNY? DID YOU HAVE FUN?" no response. "WELL SCREW YOU. SCREW ALL OF YOU. I DON'T NEED THIS"

I sat on the bench, bawling. Secretly hoping for someone to come.. For someone to see my misery and tell me that I was mistaken.

I faded into sleep, cuddled in a ball, legs enclosed within my arms. 

"AHHH" I yanked up from the bench

Haaa.. Haa..  Haaaa..

Rolls of sweat dropped onto my arm

Deep breaths.

Deep Breaths.

It's okay now.

It's not real.

It felt so real. 

I swear it was real.

He bit me.

I felt it.

But who. 

I tried to reminisce his face, but it just wouldn't come. 

Wait.

Where is this?

I looked around.

The forest.

Why am I here.

Yesterday. Right. Yesterday.

I looked around.

A blanket.

Wrapped around my body.

Someone was here. 

Joshua. 

"Joshua! Joshua!! Are you here??" I yelled

The birds chirped. Nothing.

"Thank you!" I screamed into the air, "For coming..."

"I know your listening. You always do.. You know, it means a lot to me.."

I waited and waited in the everlasting silence.

I could slowly feel my stomach growling. It was that time of day.

I was getting hungry. I needed blood.

I got up, leaving the blanket behind, in order to search for food. 

"Mr. Rabbit, Mr.Rabbit, where are you? I am hungry and want to eat you" I sang

"Mr. Rabbit? I'm hungry. Please come out now." I sighed.

My eyes widened. My heart beat fastened. It was a rabbit. 

Hopping. Right. In. Front. Of. ME.

But I figured out that finding the rabbit wasn't the problem. How would I catch this animal? 

I followed the rabbit, tiptoeing on the cold, wet forest floor.

It finally stopped, and I reached my hands, ever-so-gently, out onto the rabbit.

I was so close, when a hand suddenly snatched the rabbit, breezing my hand.

"HEY! That's mine!!" I yelled, glaring at a pale, man.

"What, this?" He responded.

My stomach growled, and I glanced at the fresh blood.

That rabbit could have lasted me a day...

"We can share.. If you don't mind.. I'm not that hungry anyway." He scoffed

"We can!? I'll take the first bite-" I stopped, realizing what I had just said, "Of course, after we cook it.."

"Here, take the first bite" the stranger said, handing me the fresh meat

"How would I take the first bite? We haven't even cooked it yet" I said, casually declining his offer

"I know what you are. I am too.. It's fine, take the first sip" He said, now smiling

"You.. are..?" I was honestly so confused, "Then tell me what I am"

He leaned in close to me, and whispered into my ear, "Vampire"

"Who are you?" My eyes widened, "You're one of them."

I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and my head went black.
