One Little MermaidOut at sea, where the water is as blue as a blue jays feathers, where the seaweed is as green as the buds of a newborn flower, where the corals are as many different vibrant colours as a Picasso painting, Hae Ra was swimming around the large royal cove, singing as usual. A little fish came swimming at top speed to Hae Ra, "Ms. Hae Ra! There you are! Your father his Majesty is requesting your presence, all of your sisters have already arrived." The little fish messanger heaved, out of breath.
"Oh! Thank you Finn! I'll be on my way." With that, Hae Ra gave the fish a quick pat on the head, and hummed along the way to her father's throne.
The king was a widowed man, his wife the most beautiful thing ever seen, on land, and in water. With beauty that could render you speechless, eyes deeper than the depths of the sea, and the kindest above all. Her voice stood out the most or rather, one could not simply ignore it. The queen's voice was as smooth as silk, as gentle as a birds tune, and could bring joy to all who heard by speech or by song. However, it is said that all good things come to an end, as her Majesty was captured one night while rising to the surface, never returning again. The king was devastated, thus his hatred for humans. Somewhere deep inside him though, there was a little love for humans. How they could walk, how they could run, how they could jump, twirl, and more.
The king's youngest daughter Hae Ra, was the very likeness of the queen.
