”I hate you so much.”

She said under her breath but loud enough for him to hear.

“Why?”

He asked.

“It’s not fair.”

She said as she stared blankly into space.

“Why? “

He asked again.

“You told me you weren’t going to leave me, Kris.”

She said.

“I didn’t want to leave you.”

He told her but she just continued to stare at nothing.

“You left… It was so sudden… You didn’t even say goodbye…”

She accused.

“Believe me, I wanted to stay. I really wished I could remain by your side but-“

“Do you know how much I missed you? Your voice. Your laughter? Your hugs, your kisses? Your presence?”

She cut him off.

”You miss me like hell, I know. I miss you too.”

He nodded.

“Did you know I died? I mean, I was only existing… but not fully alive.”

She said.

“Yes, I’m sorry.”

He apologized.

“I didn’t know what to do. Nothing made any sense. Everything was just so messed up…”

She said.

“Please come back.”

She pleaded as her tears rolled down her burning cheeks.

“You’ll meet someone new, I’m sure of that.”
