Ha Neul’s POV

“Omma, can we wake dad up?”  I stared at my kids who were already up and excited about going to the zoo. In the other hand I was placing the plates on the table so they would eat their breakfast.

“Why don’t you wait until he wakes up himself?”  Ha Na pouted her lips and Jong Ha answered to my question.

“Omma, we want to see the animals at the zoo! It’s going to be our first time there” I nodded my head

“Sit and eat your breakfast. I’ll wake your appa up” they smiled and sat on the chairs while I went to the room in order to wake Jong In up

“Jong In ah… wake up” I shook him lightly but he just turned his body the other side making me face his back.

“Kim Jong In wake up” I shook him once again but this time it wasn’t as gentle as the first one was. Once again he ignored me, he buried his body under the covers…

“Yah Kim Jong In get up while I’m being nice” once again… no reply.  I grabbed the blanket and pulled it away from him

“Yah~ my blanky…”

“Your blanky?!  For ’s sake what are you, five?”

“I want to sleep more~” he whined while hugging the pillow tightly, but not for long. I pulled the pillow away from him, he slightly opened his eyes

“Oh, so you’re gonna get up?” without saying anything he grabbed mu arm and made me lay on top of him while his arms were wrapped tightly around me.

“Kim Jong In it’s not the time for you to be cheesy… get up right now”

“But I don’t want to!  Can’t we stay like this for the moment?” I sighed... does he really have to be like this now?

“Aren’t you going to the zoo with the kids?” he opened his eyes and stared straight at me

“You’ll come too!”   I sighed again

“Ok… but just let me go” he shook his head as he hugged me even tighter.

“Not yet, let me enjoy this moment” I didn’t move, instead I let him hug me

“Can you let go of me now?”  I asked after some minutes of staying in that kind of position, he finally let me go as he got up as well.

“Then let’s get prepared for the zoo” we went outside from the room to the kitchen

“Good morning!” Jong In said happily

“Omma appa…  You two were late!” Jong Soo said

“What were you even doing?”  Ha Na asked suspiciously

“Nothing! Now let appa and omma eat breakfast so we can leave to the zoo!”  the three of them cheered and went to the living room probably waiting  for me and Jong In to finish breakfast.

“Why are you wearing shorts?”  Jong In asked me all of the sudden…

“What’s wrong with wearing them? The weather is getting hot anyway” he glared at me

“It’s not hot… what if it rains?” 

“Dude… what’s wrong with you?”  He shook his head and continued eating

“Yah don’t ignore me.”

“You won’t listen to me anyway…” he pouted without looking at me

“You just want me to change to pants right?”  He nodded his head, I might as well do what he wants or else he will give me the cold shoulder the whole day. I got up after finishing my breakfast and went to the room, I changed to a pair of sweatpants

“Ok now?”  He nodded his head as I stood in front of him, he had an extremely happy face and he gave me a thumb up.

“Did you finish?”  Jong Ha asked as he entered the kitchen

 “Yep let’s go” the five of us entered Jong In’s car and then he started driving to the zoo

“Why do you carry that heavy thing around?”  he pointed to my bag

“There’s food inside, medicine, extra clothes…”

“Are we going overseas or something?”  I scoffed at his mocking question

“It’s in case of emergency…” he started laughing making me stare at him

“Why are you laughing…?”

“You know that no one is going to die and no one is going to get trapped on an island right?”

“Ha.ha.ha you are so funny Kim Jong In…”

“Well, one thing for sure, I am not carrying it around…” he laughed again

“I was going to leave it inside the car…” he didn’t reply and instead turned the music up loud, to which the kids started singing happily. Aigo their cute faces.
Jong In parked the car after we arrived at the zoo. The kids stayed with Jong In while I bought the tickets.

“Let’s go~” Ha Na held her two oppa’s hand and dragged them inside while me and Jong In where right behind them

“Appa, what are we going to see first?” Ha Na asked happily.

“Let’s just follow this map” she nodded her head and the three of them stuck closely to us so they wouldn’t get lost, Jong Soo was holding my hand while Jong Ha and Ha Na were holding Jong In’s hand each.

“Woah~ Appa what is that?” Jong Soo pointed at a place, Jong In seemed to be lost as he was searching for the board with information for that animal.

“That’s a greater flamingo. It’s one of the six species that” The four of them stared at me in astonishment…

“Why? What’s wrong?”

“Ok where did you find the information board?” Jong In asked

“Call me genius, I know a lot about animals” I winked and then walked away. We walked to the pavilion of African animals, I have to say I left them surprised with my knowledge on animals, it’s because when I was younger, before I even met Jong In, I used to study about them a lot, I guess my memory about them is still there.

“Did you eat an encyclopedia or something? How do you know all of these things?”

“I have just read about them. No big deal” Jong In nodded and just kept staring at the animals along with the kids. They were looking at the wolves while I was behind them just staring at the four adorable backs, laughing and being excited about the thing they were seeing. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and once I turned around I saw someone I would have never thought of seeing.

“Sunbae? Ommo what are you doing here?”

“Hyuk Jae ah, I have to ask the same thing.”  Hyuk Jae is my hoobae, let’s say he is a trainee under my team, since he wants to be a reported he always follows the more experienced reporters.

“Ow, I am here with my younger sister, she is probably watching the bears right now” he smiled shyly.

“But sunbae what about you?” he asked, finally raising his eyes to look at me

“Ow I’m here wi-” before I could finish my sentence I felt Jong In wrap an arm around m shoulder.

“Jagi… who is this guy?” Jong In was shooting lesser from his eyes, I bet Hyuk Jae must be feeling intimidated by Jong In’s gaze…

“Jong In ah, he is a hoobae from my work” Hyuk Jae bowed while Jong In did nothing but stare at him.

“Nice to meet you, you must be her boyfriend, right?” Hyuk Jae asked Jong In, he nodded his head and then pointed at our kids behind us, who were still staring at the wolves.

“I am also the father of those three!”

“Sunbae He is the father?! No wonder the kids are so good-looking.”  Hyuk Jae said with a smile on his face, of course he is one of those people who have spent some time with Jong Soo, Jong Ha and Ha Na, I bet he always wondered who the father was, and now all of his questions must be answered.

“Anyway, I must leave now, my sister might have gotten bored by staring at the bears” Hyuk Jae bowed at me and Jong In and then left to his sister’s side.
