[Nearly identical to notice posted on Novocaine]

Happy (belated) New Year, everyone!

So, those of you subscribed to this story’s prequel, Novocaine, will probably have noticed that I’ve been...absent for a while. After being sick for a month, I had planned to write a lot during this semester at college, but then I ended up having the busiest (and worst) semester of school I’ve ever had. Of course.

On the bright side, I did have time during and between lectures to work on rewriting both Immortals and Novocaine to make it easier for me to continue writing the latter, as well as changing a few things that had been bugging me for a while. Much of the content is still the same in the rewrite, but with a few key differences:

1. Both stories are now in present tense. While writing other stories outside of the Immortals!verse, I realized that this makes things 1000x easier to write, and the story flows better overall.

2. Immortals has been tweaked plotwise in multiple places. None of the changes are major enough to have a huge effect on the story overall (or affect the prequel), but it’s definitely improved overall.

So, feel free to reread the edited version(s) or not, but I wanted to at least give everyone a warning/explanation for the chapter update. As of the time of this notice being posted, I’m replacing all chapters of Immortals and Novocaine, as well as adding a new chapter (what a miracle, right?) of Novocaine.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who has continued to subscribe/upvote/comment! I appreciate every single one of you. :)
