Chapter 7

 

One year later

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

Yul went to the kinder garden to pick Mason. The moment she arrives, she saw Mason sobbing

 

‘ Mason, what happen? Did you get hurt? ’

 

‘ A student said that Mason don’t have appa, that’s why he is crying ’ the teacher pats Mason’s head

 

Yul thanks the teacher then picks Mason in her arms.

 

‘ They are so mean right ’

 

Mason nods while his head on Yul’s chest.

 

‘ How about about me being you appa? ’ Yul asks

 

Mason shakes his head

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ Auntie is a woman ’

 

‘ How about you call me mommy? Look they have one appa and one umma but you have two umma ’

 

Mason is thinking cutely ‘ I can really call you mommy? ’

 

‘ Yes ’ Yul smiles

 

‘ Mommy ’ Mason wraps his arms around Yul’s neck

 

Yul carefully puts Mason at the back seat.

 

‘ Mommy I’m hungry ’ he pats his tummy

 

Yul chuckles ‘ My son wanna eat ’ she cupped Mason’s cheek

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ How about we go pick you umma then go to eat together? ’

Mason nods happily

 

Yul drives to Yoong’s working place.

 

‘ Umma will be here soon ’

 

Yul smiles fades when she saw Yoong comes out from the building with a guy. She went out of her car

 

‘ Yoong..... ’ she called then walk toward them

 

‘ Yul ’ Yoong smiles

 

Yul gives a glare at the guy.

 

‘ Yoona, I’ll see you tomorrow ’ he said then quickly walks away

 

‘ He better walk away now before I kick him away ’ Yul said while glancing at him

 

‘ He is nice ’ Yoong said

 

‘ I don’t like him near you. Next time don’t stay to close with this guy ’

 

Yoong blushes and nods. Yul takes Yoong’s hand and walk back to the car.

 

‘ Umma ’ Mason said happily

 

‘ I miss you so much ’ Yoong hugs Mason tightly

 

‘ Don’t you miss me ’ Yul pouts

 

‘ Of course I miss you too ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Hmph...... ’

 

Yoong kisses Yul’s cheek

 

Yul smiles ‘ Let’s go eat ’ she opens the door for Yoong

 

‘ Mommy ’ Mason points at the McDonald

 

‘ Mommy? ’ Yoong looks at Yul

 

Yul just shrugs then look at Mason ‘ Our Mason wanna eat McDonald ’

 

Mason nods

‘ Then let’s eat McDonald ’ Yul parks her car

 

After their dinner at McDonald, they went back home. Mason is falling asleep during the trip home

 

‘ Our Mason must be tired ’ Yul chuckles

 

‘ Yul, why you let Mason call you mommy? ’

 

Yul tells Yoong everything

 

‘ Even so, you can’t let him call you mommy ’

 

‘ I love Mason. I don’t mind being his mommy ’

 

‘ I know you love Mason like your son but......... ’

 

‘ Yoong, please just let him call me mommy. I’m sure Jiyeon don’t mind ’

 

Yoong didn’t argue back because she knows that she can’t win toward Yul.

 

Yul, you are just making everything more difficult to me....... – Yoong thought

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Soo is in her room looking at the album of Sarang.

 

Time past so fast, tomorrow will be Sarang 3^th birthday. After tomorrow, I can’t see you and your umma again........

 

‘ Soo........ ’

 

She heard Sica’s voice, she closes the album and went out of her room.

 

‘ You are home ’ Soo smiles

 

‘ Yes. Where’s Sarang? ’

 

‘ Taking a nap ’

 

‘ Are you alright Soo? ’

 

‘ Yes. Why? ’

 

‘ I don’t know, you seem weird ’

 

‘ Tomorrow is Sarang’s birthday, I was thinking how to celebrate ’

 

‘ I’ll have a day off tomorrow. Maybe we can go to the zoo during the day and at night we have dinner at a restaurant ’ Sica suggests

 

‘ That’s a great ’ Soo smiles

 

The next day

 

Soo went out of her room and saw Sarang playing in the living room.

 

‘ Morning my birthday girl ’ Soo kisses Sarang’s cheek

 

‘ Appa ’ Sarang clasps her hand

 

Soo saw Sica comes out from the bathroom

 

‘ Are you ready for the zoo? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ Yes, let’s go ’ Sica smiles

 

At the zoo

 

Soo is holding Sarang in her arms the whole day because she knows that she won’t have this chance again in the future.  Even if she is hurting inside, she still have a smile in front of Sica and Sarang

 

‘ Appa ’ Sarang points at the monkey eating banana

 

‘ Soo, you must be tired. Give Sarang to me ’

 

‘ I’m not tired, please just let me for today ’ Soo said

 

They passed by the tigers, giraffes, elephant, etc..........

 

They are walking to the exit after a few hours in the zoo.

 

‘ Where do you wanna eat? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ I already made a reservation ’ Soo smiles

 

At the restaurant

 

‘ Excuse-me, can you please take a picture of us ’ Soo asks the waitress

 

‘ Sure ’

 

Sica sits next to Soo and Sarang in the middle of them. In front of them there’s a big cake for Sarang’s birthday

 

The waitress gives to picture to Soo.

 

‘ Thank you ’ Soo smiles

 

After the waitress left

 

‘ I want this picture ’ Sica said

 

‘ No, this one is mine ’ Soo said the put it in her wallet

 

Their foods arrives, Sica looks at Soo with a bright smile who is busy feeding Sarang and wiping .

 

Soo looks at Sica ‘ Sica, why are you looking at us. Your food will be cold ’

 

Sica quickly looks down at her plate.

 

‘ Appa... ’ Sarang points at the strawberry

 

Soo takes the strawberry and give it to Sarang. Soo gives some of her pasta to Sica

 

‘ How about you? ’

 

‘ I’m fine. I know you like the pasta from this restaurant so eat more ’ Soo smiles

 

‘ Here eat some of mine ’ Sica gives some of hers to Soo

 

After dinner, they walk at the park near Sica’s place. Sarang is walking slowly between SooSica. Soo saw Sica is shivering so she takes her scarf off and wraps it around Sica’s neck.

 

‘ Sarang, are you tired? ’

 

Sarang nods cutely

 

‘ Come here ’ Soo picks Sarang into her arms.

 

Sica wraps her arms around Soo’s while walking back home. Is almost midnight, when they went home. Sarang falls asleep on Soo’s chest.

 

‘ I’ll put Sarang to bed ’ Soo said

 

Inside Sarang’s room

 

Soo slowly lays Sarang on the bed and caress her cheek

 

‘ I’ll miss you Sarang, please don’t forget about me ’ Soo wipes her tears and gives one last kiss to Sarang before she went out.

 

Soo walks back in her room to take her suitcase then she heard a knock. Sica comes in and sit on the bed

 

‘ Sarang is very happy tonight. Maybe we should go out for dinner tomorrow night. What do you think Soo? ’

 

‘ I’m sorry Sica, tomorrow I can’t ’

 

‘ Why? ’

 

‘ Sica, today is Sarang 3th birthday ’

 

‘ Pabo, I know ’

 

‘ Is time for me to leave ’

 

‘ We are you going ’

 

‘ I promised you that I won’t appear in front of you or Sarang anymore. So I will do what you asked. Thanks to give me this chance to take care of you and Sarang. Being with the both of you during these past three years is the happiest day of my life. I hope you and Sarang will be happy ’

 

Jessica’s POV

 

Hearing Soo’s word, I remember the promise I asked Soo. I don’t want Soo to leave me, she is a part of my life now. Soo comes closer to me then kisses my forehead

 

‘ Take care Sica ’

 

Then she walks toward the door but she suddenly stops

 

‘ Can you please give this album to Sarang, is my last gift for her ’

 

Soo walks out of the bedroom

 

‘ Soo, don’t leave me ’

 

I heard the front door closes. Tears falls down, I take the album and open it. Is the album I saw on her desk, I went to the last picture and I saw the picture we took at the restaurant earlier

 

< Last day being Sarang’s appa. Bye Bye Sarang my lovely daughter >

I close the album and run out of the room.

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

I’m walking toward my car with my suitcase in hand while crying. I thought I can leave Sica and Sarang but I was wrong.

 

Maybe I should try to beg Sica asking her to let me stay by her side and Sarang’s. I love her so much that I can’t bear to live without her. Yes.......I shouldn’t give up so easily I should at least try one last time........

 

SooSica’s POV

 

The moment Soo turns she saw Sica running out from the building. Soo runs toward Sica and hugs her

 

‘ Sica, I can’t do this. I love you and Sarang so much that I can’t leave you two. Please, give me chance, I promise I won’t hurt you or Sarang ’ Soo said while hugging Sica

 

Sica hugs Soo tightly and nods

 

‘ Soo, let’s go home. Sarang is waiting for her appa. I’m taking back what I said three years ago, please don’t leave us ’ Sica said

 

‘ I won’t because I love you Sica ’

 

‘ I love you Soo ’

 

Soo smiles hearing Sica’s words

 

The next day

 

Soo opens her eyes and a bright smile her face. She gets off the bed and went into Sarang’s room. Sarang is already awake playing with her teddy bear

 

‘ Morning my baby ’

 

‘ Appa...... ’ Sarang smiles seeing her appa and ask to be hold

 

Soo chuckles and takes Sarang in her arms

 

‘ Your umma is still sleeping, let’s wake her ’

 

Sarang nods happily. Soo slowly opens Sica’s bedroom door.

 

‘ Umma, wake up ’ Soo said

‘ Umma...... ’ Sarang said

 

‘ Mmmm.....let me sleep a little more ’

 

Soo pouts then walk out the bedroom, after a few minutes, she comes back and puts something in front of Sica

 

‘ Sica wakes up ’

 

Sica feels something slightly touching her nose, she grabs it and opens her eyes.

 

‘ WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..................................CHOI SOOYOUNG YOU ARE DEAD ’

 

Sica throws the cucumber away and chase after Soo. Soo runs into Sarang’s room while panting

 

‘ So scary ’ Soo said while looking at Sarang who is giggling

 

Sica is knocking on the door

 

‘ CHOI SOOYOUNG, OPEN THIS DOOR NOW IF YOU DON’T WANT ME TO RIPE YOUR SKIN OFF...... ’

 

Soo puts Sarang down and take a deep breath then open the door

 

‘ YOU........................ ’

 

Soo kisses Sica’s cheek ‘ I’m sorry Sica ’

 

Sica is frozen at Soo sudden kiss and just nod. Soo quickly walks away before getting kill.

 

‘ Wait..........What I wanna do????? Aish..........she suddenly kissed me that made me forget everything ’ Sica talks to herself

 

Then she remembers ‘ YAH...........CHOI SOOYOUNG, COME BACK HERE ’

 

But Soo already runs out of the house with Sarang. Sica touches her cheek then smile

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

‘ Yul, I’m going out with Mason later ’

 

‘ What? How about me???? ’

 

‘ You have work to do right? ’

 

‘ I already finished last night ’ Yul lied

 

Yoong looks at Yul, Yul looks at everywhere except into the doe-eyes girl.

 

‘ You are lying ’

 

‘ I’m not ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ If you are not lying then look at me and say it again ’

 

‘ ..................... ’

 

‘ If you tell me the truth, maybe I’ll consider letting you go out with us ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Really? ’ Yul looks at Yoong

 

Yoong nods

 

‘ Fine, I lied. I didn’t finish ’

 

‘ Got you. Stay home and finish your work. I’m going out with Mason WITHOUT you ’

 

‘ But you said if I tell you the truth then I can go with you ’

 

‘ I said maybe ’

 

‘ You trick me ’

 

‘ So ’ Yoong stucks her tongue out and walk away

 

Yul back hugs her then whisper ‘ You know bad girl need to be punish ’

 

‘ What? ’

 

Yul starts to tickle Yoong. Yoong turns around to fight back but Yul pushes her on the couch and continue tickling Yoong.

 

‘ Yul stop please ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ Please ’

 

Yul stops and looks at Yoong. Yul slowly bend down and kisses Yoong’s cheek

 

‘ Let me go with you and Mason. I promise I’ll finish my work tonight ’

 

‘ What if I say no? ’

 

‘ Then I’ll kiss you until you say yes ’

 

‘ You won’t ’ Yoong said while blushing

 

Yul smirks ‘ You wanna try ’ she slowly went closer to Yoong’s face

 

‘ Umma, mommy ’ Mason comes in the living room rubbing his eyes cutely

 

‘ My baby is awake ’ Yul said while she is still on top of Yoong

 

‘ Mommy what are you doing with umma? ’

 

YoonYul quickly aware of their position, Yul gets off Yoong

 

‘ Nothing ’ Yul said then picks Mason in her arms

 

‘ Did you have a good sleep? ’ Yul kisses Mason’s cheek

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ Mommy will change our Mason’s pyjama then we’ll go out ok ’ Yul said

 

Mason nods happily

 

‘ Yul, no you have work ’

 

‘ I promise I’ll finish it tonight ’ Yul pecks Yoong’s cheek again before disappearing into Mason’s bedroom.
