Chapter 1

 

SooSica’s POV

 

‘ Finally, our last day at the university ’ Sica lays her head on Soo shoulder

 

‘ Have you decide on the dress that you’ll wear at the party ’ Soo asks

 

‘ Not yet but oppa already bought his tuxedo. I still hesitate between two dresses ’

 

‘ You’ll look beautiful in whatever you wear ’ Soo said

 

‘ I know ’ Sica said proudly

 

‘ Sica, let’s have diner tonight ’ Soo asks

 

‘ I’m sorry Soo, I have a date with Siwon oppa ’

 

‘ Oh........ ’ Soo turns away to hide her disappointment

 

‘ Hey, how about we have diner at my place tomorrow. I’ll cook for you ’ Sica cupped Soo’s face

 

‘ Ok, but you won’t dump me again for your boyfriend right? ’

 

‘ I won’t ’

 

Sooyoung’s POV

 

We talk in front the university entrance and a sport car stop in front of us.

 

‘ Oppa........... ’ Sica hugs him happily

 

I turn away, yes I’m in love with my bestfriend Jessica Jung who is dating my other bestfriend Choi Siwon.

 

‘ Hi Soo ’

 

‘ Hi oppa ’ I force a smile

 

‘ Do you need a lift home? ’ He asks

 

‘ No thanks, I have my car ’

 

‘ Then I’ll see you tomorrow ’ Sica waves at me with a bright smile

 

‘ See you guys tomorrow ’ I wave

 

‘ They are gone ’

 

I turn back and see Yoong standing behind me.

 

‘ I know ’ I said

 

‘ If you love her, you should confess your feeling to Sica ’

 

‘ Yoong, she already have someone and this someone is my bestfriend ’

 

‘ Maybe she have feeling for you too ’

 

‘ What if she don’t, I don’t wanna risk our friendship ’

 

‘ Soo, if she reject you then you can move on. Think about it ’ Yoong pats my shoulder

 

‘ How about you? Have you made your decision to take the job offer in the States? ’

 

‘ I’ll have my decision today ’

 

After Yoong left

 

Yoong is right.......I should confess my feeling to Sica, I’ll tell her tomorrow  that I’m in love with her...........

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

Yoong is at the coffee shop waiting for Yul nervously. She suddenly feel a pair of arms around her neck

 

‘ Yul ’ she looks up

 

Yul pecks her cheek ‘ How do you that is me? ’

 

She  sits in front of Yoong

 

‘ Oh.........you already bought my favorite coffee ’ she said happily

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ You are the best ’ she takes a sip

 

‘ Yul, I have something to tell you ’ Yoong starts nervously

 

‘ I have something to tell you too ’ she said excitedly

 

‘ You  go first ’

 

‘ I’m dating someone ’

 

‘ W-who? ’

 

‘ Her name is Jiyeon, I met her at a party a few weeks ago. Last night, I ask her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. Yoong, she is so beautiful. Are you free tomorrow night? I want to introduce her to you ’

 

‘ Sure I can’t wait to meet her ’ Yoong forces a smile and drink my coffee

 

‘ I’ll call her now to see if she’ll be free tomorrow night ’ Yul said

 

Yoong just look at the happy Yul talking on the phone with her girlfriend

 

After she hang up ‘ She’s free tomorrow ’

 

‘ That’s great ’

 

‘ So, what do you wanna tell me? ’ Yul looks at me with a smile

 

‘ Oh.....hmmm.............I wanna tell you that I got a job offer in the States and I accept it ’

 

Yul’s smile fade

 

‘ What you didn’t tell me earlier? When did you made this decision? ’

 

The moment you said you have a girlfriend........ – Yoong thought

 

‘ A few days ago. Is a very great opportunity for me ’

 

‘ When are you leaving? ’

 

‘ After our graduation party. In three days ’

 

‘ So fast. Can you go later? ’

 

‘ I can’t I already book the ticket ’

 

‘ When will you come back? ’

 

‘ I don’t know ’

 

‘ What do you mean you don’t know? ’ Yul raise a little her voice

 

‘ ...................... ’

 

Yul suddenly stands up and walk away. Yoong holds Yul’s hand

 

‘ Yul, where are you going? ’

 

‘ I’m not so important to you since you didn’t mention a word about you leaving the country. I thought you will tell me everything but I was wrong. I’m the last who know that my bestfriend is leaving in three ing day ’ Yul stomps out the coffee shop angrily

 

Yoong saw Yul’s drive away. She wipes her tears

 

‘ You don’t know how important you are to me. You don’t know how I feel when you announce to me that you are dating someone. Maybe I should distance myself from you, this is the only way I can move on ’ Yoong talks to herself

 

Yuri’s POV

 

Yoong is leaving the country in three days and she just tell me now. What am I to her? What make me more mad is when I ask her when she’ll come back she didn’t even answer. It looks like she won’t come back anymore......How can she do this to me?

 

Unconsciously, my tears fall down

 

TaeNy’s POV

 

Tae just walks in a bar, then saw Fany making out with a guy at a corner. She stomps toward Fany and pushes the guy away.

 

‘ Come with me ’ Tae holds Fany’s wrist and drag her out of the bar.

 

‘ Tae, you are hurting me ’ Fany struggles

 

At the alley, Tae finally let’s go of Fany.

 

‘ You are hurting, then what am I suppose to feel? My girlfriend is making out with random guy behind my back ’

 

‘ Tae, you already know kind of relationship we have. You know I’m a player, you know I won’t be only yours ’

 

Tae clenches her fist

 

‘ Look we have fun together, I don’t mind that you play around ’ Fany continues

 

‘ I’m tired, of all this. From now, you can do whatever you want is none of my business ’

 

‘ Are you breaking up with me? ’

 

Tae looks into Fany’s eyes ‘ Yes, I’m breaking up with you Tiffany ’

 

‘ Don’t regret it. I won’t accept you again even if you beg me ’

 

‘ Don’t worry, I won’t regret my decision. What I regret the most is falling in love with someone like you ’

 

‘ If this is what you want then fine. Let’s go on our separate way then ’

 

Tae stomps away from the alley and Fany went back into the bar like nothing happen.

 

The next day

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Soo arrive at Sica’s penthouse.

 

‘ Do you need help? ’ Soo asks while walking in the kitchen

 

‘ Can you prepare the table for me? ’

 

‘ Sure ’

 

Sica comes in with the two plates.

 

‘ Wow, pasta ’ Soo clasps her hand like a kid

 

Sica chuckles ‘ I know you like the pasta I made so eat more I cook a lot ’

 

‘ Don’t worry, I’ll eat it all for you ’ Soo starts to eat

 

‘ Hey, eat slowly you’ll choke ’

 

Soo nods but after a while she starts to eat again like there’s no tomorrow. Sica shakes her head

 

‘ If you continue eating like this I won’t cook your favorite pasta for you ’ Sica threatening her

 

‘ No......pweeeeeeeese.........I just can’t stop myself because is too delicious ’

 

‘ Argh....fine, fine. But just eat slower ok ’

 

Soo nods obediently. After she finished her pasta, Soo stands up and walk toward the fridge then come back with a cake

 

‘ Soo, you just finish the whole bowl of pasta. Don’t tell me you’ll eat the cake now ’

 

‘ Sica, the cake is the desert. Look is your favorite Tiramisu ’

 

Soo opens the box

 

‘ Say ah........ ’ Soo puts the fork in front of Sica’s mouth

 

Sica opens and eat the piece of cake.

 

‘ Is delicious right? ’ Soo asks

 

Sica nods. After she swallows

 

‘ Feed me more ’ Sica opens

 

‘ You have your own hand. I need to eat to ’

 

‘ I’m too lazy to take the fork and I want you to feed me ’

 

Soo pouts because she can’t eat her cake in peace but she can’t say anything because the person who orders her is Jessica Jung.

 

Sica just enjoy the treatment that Soo gives her. After diner, Soo washes the dishes while Sica is laying on the couch watching TV.

 

‘ You know I’m your guest. What I look more like your servant ’ Soo asks while joining Sica on the couch

 

‘ Because you are my servant and only me can order you ’

 

‘ So mean ’ Soo pouts while hugging the cushion

 

‘ What did you just said? ’

 

Soo gulps ‘ I-I-I said you are so beautiful ’

 

‘ Really? ’

 

Soo quickly nods

 

Sica starts to tickle Soo on the waist.

 

‘ Ah.....Sica stop ’

 

‘ No ’

 

‘ You ask for it ’ Soo tickles back

‘ Soo stop ’

 

‘ You stop first ’

 

‘ I’ll count to three and we both stop ’

 

‘ Ok ’

 

‘3....2.....1’

 

They both stop and Sica lays her head on Soo’s lap. Soo is caressing Sica’s hair gently.

 

‘ Sica........ ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ I....I.....I have something to tell you ’

 

Sica gets off Soo

 

‘ What it is? Are you not feeling well? ’ Sica asks worriedly

 

‘ No is not this ’

 

‘ Then what it is ’

 

‘ Sica, I love you ’

 

Sica chuckles ‘ I know ’

 

‘ You know? ’

 

‘ Of course I know you love me. You are my bestfriend and I love you too ’

 

‘ No, I mean I love you not like a bestfriend. I love you more than a friend. Sica, I’m in love with you ’

 

‘ .............. ’

 

‘ Sica, I........... ’

 

‘ Stop ’

 

‘ Sica ’

 

‘ How can you do this to us? Oppa and I are your bestfriend. I’m dating oppa ’

‘ I know but I can’t stop my feeling for you ’

 

‘ I don’t love you, I’m straight ’

 

‘ I know, I just wanna be honest with you. I’m sorry if I say something that upset you ’

 

‘ I’m tired, you should go home ’ Sica said then walk into her bedroom

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

Yoong walks in the restaurant and saw Yul chattering happily with a girl. Yoong slowly went near the table. Yul looks up

 

‘ Yoong, you are here? ’ She smiles

 

‘ Sorry, I’m late ’ Yoong forces a smiles and look at Jiyeon

 

‘ Jiyeon, she is Yoona. Yoona, Jiyeon ’

 

They greet each other, Yoong sits in front of the couple. The waitress come to give them the menu. After while, Yul called the waitress to take their order.

 

‘ Jiyeon, what do you want? ’ Yul looks at Jiyeon

 

‘ I want a salmon steak ’

 

‘ I want s............ ’ Yoong is about to tell the waitress her order but get cut by Yul

 

‘ Yoong, will take a steak medium cook and me I want a lasagna ’ Yul said then gives the menu back to the waitress

 

‘ Yoona, is it the steak you wanna order? Yul cuts you off before you talk ’

 

‘ I know her better than anybody else ’

 

‘ How do you know that she want steak ’

 

‘ I just know ’ Yul smiles and look at Yoong

‘ And you don’t know what I want. You look more like Yoona’s girlfriend than mine ’ Jiyeon tease

 

Yoong chokes at Jiyeon’s words

 

‘ Omo, Yoong are you alright? ’ Yul gives her glass of water to Yoong and quickly stands up to pat Yoong’s back

 

‘ I’m fine Yul. Go sit back at your seat ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Are you sure you are alright? ’ Yul asks

 

Yoong nods

 

Yul sits back at her place

 

‘ Yul, I drink you glass of water. Let me ask another one for you ’

 

‘ No, I can have the same glass ’ Yul takes her glass of water from Yoong

 

‘ You two seem very close ’ Jiyeon starts a conversation

 

‘ Of course, we are bestfriend ’ Yul said

 

Yoong just smiles

 

After a while of chattering, their foods arrive. Yul takes the plates of Yoong and cut the steak for her.

 

‘ Yoong loves eating steak but she hates to cut it ’ Yul said to Jiyeon

 

‘ Here you go ’ Yul puts the plate in front of Yoong

 

‘ Thank you but you should take care of Jiyeon not me. Otherwise, Jiyeon will be jealous ’ Yoong jokes but she feels really uncomfortable with Yul’s action in front of Jiyeon.

 

Well, Yul always takes care of her that’s why Yoong falls in love but now she want Yul to stop all these sweet action.

 

‘ Don’t worry I won’t. I know Yul is a caring person ’ Jiyeon smiles

 

‘ I heard from Yul that will go to the States in two days ’ Jiyeon speaks

 

‘ Yes, I have a job offer. I’ll miss Seoul and my friends ’ Yoong forces a smile

 

Yul stays quiet while Jiyeon and Yoong talk about the States

After dinner

 

‘ Yoong, let me send you home ’ Yul said

 

‘ I have my car ’

 

‘ Don’t lie to me, I saw you coming in a cab ’

 

‘ Yoona, let Yul drive you back since I have my car ’ Jiyeon said

 

Yoong just nods

 

Inside the car, Yoong stay silent. When they arrive in front of her buildind

 

‘ Thanks for the lift ’ Yoong went out of the car without looking at Yul.

 

She arrives in front of her place. While searching for the key, someone backhugging her.

 

‘ Yul, I thought you are gone ’ Yoong said without turn back.

 

‘ I’m sorry about yesterday. I was just too angry hearing that you’ll leave in three days ’

 

Yoong turns back and Yul hugs her tightly

 

‘ I’m not mad at you Yul ’ Yoong said

 

‘ No I know you are mad at me. If not then why you didn’t talk or even look at me the whole night ’

 

Yoong slowly puts her hand on Yul’s back ‘ Yul, I’m really not mad at you. I’m just tired about all the packing ’ Yoong lied

 

‘ Really? ’ Yul looks into Yoong’s doe-eyes

 

Yoong nods

 

Yul kisses Yoong forehead

 

‘ Is late, you should go home ’ Yoong said

 

Yul didn’t know that her action is hurting Yoong.

 

‘ Can I stay at your place until the day you leave? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ Yul, you have a girlfriend. I don’t want Jiyeon to misunderstand us, she is a good girl ’

 

‘ I don’t see the problem, you are my bestfriend like my sister. I’m sure she won’t mind, is not like the first time ’

 

‘ But is different now. Yul, just go to Jiyeon ’ Yoong opens the door. When she is about to close it, the stubborn Yul push the door and went inside.

 

‘ I’m not leaving this place ’ Yul lays on the couch

 

Yoong knows that she can’t fight against Yul.

 

‘ Fine. But can you take a shower first ’ Yoong gives in

 

‘ I’ll grab some clothes of yours ’ Yul smiles and walks away
