CHAPTER 1

“YAH!” I quickly detached the phone on my ear at the annoying loud voice of my friend

I chuckled a bit before I placed back the phone to my right ear, “I’m almost there sooyoung-ah, don’t miss me so much” I calmly said knowing the reason behind her fuming voice

“Very well, you’re late again. You might want to walk faster before our boss arrive?” she stated sarcastically.

Sooyoung and I are friends for almost 5 years now. We work at Twinkle café and constantly became friends right on the first day since we do have same personality and we both love to eat, they won’t call us shikshin twins for nothing. It is not the first time though that sooyoung called me in anger for being late again.

“Aye aye captain!” I replied to sooyoung playfully.

“Don’t tell me you’re stalking that beautiful stranger again?” I heard her say in the other line.

Every weekdays, at exactly 7 in the morning, I would usually wait for her to sit on the same exact spot every day, in one of the bench in the park. She was usually drive here in a luxurious car with her annoying tanned lady driver slash bodyguard, who keeps on eyeing her every minute, like she would escape or something? Like seriously, my beautiful stranger would just simply sit and observe the calm lake in front of her, so why need to eye her every movement?
