"Jessi!" Tiffany shouted as she barged into Jessica's room and jumped on her bed, disturbing Jessica's peaceful moment of reading.

"Yah Tiff! Can you please knock first bef—"

"I thought you've got used to this kind of moment where I always—"

"Alright, alright.. What do you want?" Jessica asked impatiently; a little bit annoyed for being disturbed.

"So my friend is in Japan right now and she said that there's a big Totoro doll on sale!"

"So what's the matter with me?"

"She asked me if I want her to buy it or not!”

Hearing Tiffany’s squeal irked her “Alright just say yes to her and leave me alone”

Seeing Jessica was about to put all her attention back to the book she cut in, “No Jess! That’s not the main point!” Tiffany said quickly then she let out her killer pout visible on her face.

Putting back all her attention to Tiffany, she sighed in defeat seeing the latter was using her most powerful weapon on attacking her weakness. “Alright Princess Tiffany, what is the main point then?” She imitated Tiffany in how she emphasized the word ‘main’ to make it sounds more important.

“Can you buy it for me? And pay for the charge of the excess baggage? Please.. please.. I really want it, Jess..” With all her might, she used her aegyo to win Jessica’s heart.

“What’s the name again?”

“IT’S TOTORO JESSIII!!”

“Calm down, no need to shout you know.. You might break my eardrums” Jessica unbelievably rubbed her hurting ears.

Seeing this Tiffany guiltily apologized, afraid that Jessica might change her mind and didn’t want to buy it for her. For her obsession's sake after all.

“I’m sorry Jessi... You know that I didn’t mean it right?” was-about-to-cry expression and cute pout were visible on her face. How will Jessica survive this?

Seeing Tiffany being all like an abandoned-lost puppy was cute and entertained her so much so she still played along to tease the poor brighter-than-a-mushroom girl “Alright alright..”

“Really?!” Here came the energetic-hyper-brighter-than-a-gem girl again.

“Yes,” Eyes were glued already to the novel she was currently reading.

Hearing her roommate say ‘yes’ made her jump in joy. She couldn’t help but pull the innocent-evil girl in her embrace. “Yayaya Tiff! What are you doing?! Let me go!”

“Aw, you’re the best Jessi! So you will pay for it when she’s back from Japan okay?” Tiffany said in glee with her eyes sparkling making two beautiful crescent shapes.

‘Ah, I don’t want this.. It’s too boring for me.. I meant this beautiful eyesmile is common already in public. Who knows I’m the only one lucky to witness this rare side of Tiffany being all poor-lost-broken-puppy like.. A big opportunity for me!’

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Yeah you can just pay it when she’s in Korea already”

“But wait...” Starting to pull a prank, Jessica began acting all serious making Tiffany wait in curiosity. And that’s only made her seriousness slowly fade. “I didn’t say yes to this case Tiffany..”

After processing her roommate’s words for like 3 seconds, she burst out angrily and began throwing tantrums by smacking Jessica’s pretty face with the nearest pillow she grabbed, hitting and slapping her poor tiny arms, pushing her body off the bed, etc; leaving Jessica all miserable yet still laughing happily in satisfied.

Still feeling not enough to torture her annoying best friend she shouted out her anger furiously “I HATE YOU JESSI! REALLY! I HATE YOU!!”

But all she found was the view of still-laughing-her--off Jessica. It’s like adding more fuel to her burning heart.

Angrily she snapped the latter out, “YAA! JUNG SOO YEON!”

Seeing Tiffany had really turned red in anger made her laughter subside. She really did make a wrong step. Lol

“H-Hey Tiff.. Look, I was just-“

“If ‘kidding’ or ‘joking’ is all you going to say, then it’s not funny at all! I’m done talking to you!” With a loud huff, Tiffany began leading her way to the door, leaving Jessica all in panic.

“Tiff! Tiffany wait!” Hurriedly Jessica stood on her legs and chased after the girl, preventing her from going any further.

After grasping onto her arm, Jessica turned her around with a little pull of force upon her stubbornness. She found the girl scowling yet some tears were already dwelling in the corner of her eyes. Witnessing that, Jessica couldn’t help but feel guilty.

“Hey.. I’m sorry if it does make you mad.. I’m sorry Tiff.. Please forgive the stupid Jessica.. She’s really stupid and ridiculous sometimes..” Now putting on a poor-cat mask, she fought hard to win Tiffany’s heart back. “Please.. Please.. I swear Jessica really wants to buy the Totoro doubled or tripled for you if it will make you happy and forgive Jessica...”

Tiffany didn’t utter any words. She really couldn’t stand her ego for long at this side of Jessica. It’s really her weakness. She knows already that Jessica (she doesn’t know when it is for sure again) in the future will make the same mistakes which kinda will piss her off again just like today, but still care to forgive her at the end of the day anyway. Ironic right?

Noticing Tiffany didn’t utter any words, she hugged the taller figure and leaned closer, resting her head on the crook of Tiffany’s neck. She sighed in defeat and closed her eyes tightly. Wishing the latter would hug her back.

‘If she’s still not going to hug me back, then... I’ll be sleeping on the couch starting from tonight.. OH GOD PLEASE PLEASE Tiffany..... YOU KNOW HOW I HATE DARKNESS WITHOUT YOU’ ← a Win-Win Situation for Ambiguity and Innocence

A few seconds later a pair of long arms already engulfed Jessica's petite body. Tiffany leaned her head onto Jessica’s as she whispered something, “You have my forgiveness already.”

Hearing this Jessica tightened the hug as a small smile blossomed into the big one on Jessica’s small lips.

“Thank you, babe”

“Don’t call me that, you’re not my boyfriend or something”

“Then make me” after stating those 3 cheesy words with a seductive wink, Jessica stole a peck on Tiffany's cheek and ran out of the room leaving Tiffany dumbfounded; blushing.

‘Damn you, Jessica.. you surely will sleep on the couch tonight for not accounting for our words plus leaving me alone like this!’

Hahahanope :| Well, almost a year idk how I gained my passion back for writing even though I'm sure it won't last long lol and after being on hiatus for looong, I hope this isn't bad at all for my first try as a comeback. Well, I kinda miss JeTi every day maybe that's one of the reasons why this shot was born. Comment below about what you think about this! and maybe cheer me up a little bit
