In the year 2094

Walking out on to the streets, he heaved a sigh and looked up at the clouded sky. He stepped out of the shadows and strolled along the wet grounds of what's left of Seoul, Korea. The streets was no longer alive with people who normally partied in the night or searching in the streets for midnight snacks. 

No.

It was filled with corpses of the young and the old; the childern and the adults. The air was of rotting corpses and their iron blood as if they were just recently killed. 

He looked up at the skies once more, watching the rain clouds start to scatter and reveal the full moon. Off in the distance, he was able to hear the loud and synced footsteps; marching closer and closer towards him. Hiding into an alley, he peered passed the corner and watched the soldiers of North Korea blindly walk past him and towards their headquarters.

Heaving a sigh of relief when he had successfully avoided them, he looked up and thought back to how this all began. 

About 3 years ago, North Korea suddenly started bombing the South, killing many. Successfully barging through the streets of South Korea, the soldiers murdered, and kidnapped the citizens. The captured citizens were taken aback their headquarters and had chip implanted into the back of their heads. It didn't make them insane or emotionless; it wasn't as if they were brainwashed. The chips only stimulated their minds, causing them to listen to every word the government orders them to do and kill without mercy or batting an eye of sympathy. Not long after, the North has successfully won the war of the domination over Korea. But it was no longer a war; it was a massive slaughter and mind control. 

But the North was not satisfied. They were never satisfied. In fact, they thirsted for world domination; but in order to do that, they needed more soldiers and allies. Soon after, they decided to fight alongside Russia with a successful alliance but the rest of the world did not know about this alliance. They did this all in secret.

Taking their implant guns and chips, they sent troops into Japan and China, implanting them into people one-by-one, soon spreading the mind control like a virus. Up to date, they have already controlled all of Japan and a large half of China. 

3 years into the war now, Korea is almost desserted. The regular citizens under the mind control have been sent into the government's hands to be trained as troops, who will then travel into other countries to spread the control; or, becoming another robot-like soldier and stay in Korea. The other ones alive are the North Korean Soldiers that remain to look after the land. Then there was the few alive who continue to hide from the soldiers and staying alive while avoiding the government mind control.

Knowing the government's plans and of what has been going on, someone has got to do something. But all who have attempted to go against the government were brutally murdered.

So instead of going against the government directly, he had another plan.

To travel to America and warn the rest of the world about this plan. In order for this to work though, he can not possibly go alone; so he had searched up 10 reliable people to go along with him on this dangerous trip.

three. The chosen applicants must comment at least every two chapters or else you will be replaced.

four. A continuation of rule 3, please don't delete your app if you aren't chosen. Sometimes, people are needed to be replaced or someone would suddenly disappear and we will need backups; so you may have a chance to be the chosen one afterwards.

six. There will be a total of 8 applicants because the co-author and I will be taking one each.

seven. You are allowed to apply twice but of course, only if your second app is of a different gender from your first. Since this is an applicant x applicant fic, you are not allowed to choose your own characters to be each other's partners.

Yo guys! This is NorthMelon! One thing about me, please don't call me author-nim or anything formal along those lines. I'm honestly fine with you calling me anything including "hey you!" This fic will be an action/adventure story where your characters will be put through many obstacles and tests to reach for their goal. I personally think that this is a nice applyfic since it isn't  just joining a group and experience the idol life. I hope ya'll have fun with this applyfic! I'm really excited to see what kind of characters you're going to come up with ^^
